I have been in the reptile scene for a while now. And every time I am in a new area, I check out…read morethe local shops and try to purchase at least something. I arrived at this store and was greeted with the worst smell. Upon further inspection of the place, I noticed that all of the enclosures/cages had weeks of debris in them. And the fruit fly problem is out of hand. At least a dozen chinchillas in cages with fecal matter caked on the ledges. The products all had dust on them. I refuse to encourage this kind of shop to remain in business so I left with absolutely nothing except the need to shower. I only hope someone can get these animals out and she doesn't get any more.

Their hermit crabs really caught my eye- a lot of the items they sell for them are actually harmful toxic and fatal to hermits and they do not know the proper care for them whatsoever. Their enclosure in the shop is a major safety concern and there are often a ton of dead crabs in the cage. The setup for them is all wrong as well they have impropet setup food and conditions. If they don't care this much then i'm sure the animals i'm uneducated on are being mistreated too.

You can also tell that all products are high quality, but everything is still reasonably priced. They have an adorable selection of dog toys and leashes which made me wish I had a dog so I could buy some of those. The store seems to mainly cater to dogs, since majority of the areas are dog food/toys/supplies. There's a smaller cat section in the back, but still many options for toys and food nonetheless. I even saw a corner for hamster supplies.

He's always visiting reptile and animal shows in The area and bringing in new things. I've seen tons of different reptiles and lizards, fish, furry rodents and bunnies and different birds and all kinds of cool stuff. In fact my boyfriend and I have owned a handful of different creatures from here. The prices are pretty expensive for most products in the store besides the actual pets and feeder animals. But they do have everything you would need even unique things. And it's a small business in an old plaza that I kno for a fact the landlord charges a lot for the space and doesn't give back much for it so I don't mind supporting Dave. He's The owner and is a very nice guy and easy to get along with and very knowledgeable friendly and helpful about all animals and subjects dealing with animals. And he also has lots of volunteers working there that know there stuff too usually. I also like going to see the store cat Panda who is very cute but doesn't like held! But overall this is the best local pet shop in the area and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

4.5 stars overall. Pet Supplies Plus is a retail chain that has stores in most states in the U.S…read more Their website says that this particular store is independently owned and operated. This store offers the following products and services: supplies for dogs and cats (e.g., foods, treats, toys, apparel, supplements, beds, bowls, collars, leashes, shampoos, and dental products), bird cages and seed, fish food and aquarium supplies, reptile food and habitats, live fish and other small pets, dog washing and grooming, etcetera. When I entered this store, an employee immediately and kindly greeted me. I walked around the store to browse the merchandise. Most of the products were for dogs. I was shopping for my cats, and I selected a collar and three containers of wet food to buy. The cashier immediately and accurately rang up my purchase and wished me a good day. I deducted half of a star from my review because the prices were a little higher than what a competing online retailer charges. Finally, I read on the website about the Pet Supplies Plus Recycling Program: "We accept all flexible plastic pet food, treat and litter bag packaging, from ALL brands, across ALL species, purchased from ANY retailer...Look for specially marked recycling boxes inside your neighborhood Pet Supplies Plus store." What a fantastic program! I will no longer have to throw my pet-food bags and litter bags into the trash.
