I had a monthly membership for up to 3 cars for almost 12 years. Last summer, I got a new car and the decal would not scan for the auto entry. Occasionally, I was told to hold my hand over my toll tag so that it would read. That didn't help. Finally, the manager met me at the gate and went into great detail on how I should be entering the gate making me realize that they thought the issue was mine and not theirs. I complained as I cancelled my membership. They chose not to respond. I've never felt more unappreciated as a customer. I shall now take my business elsewhere. read more

I've been coming to this location since they were bubbles car wash. They do a great job. Very good price of 19.99!-'d you can use any of their locations. I do prefer the location of 1960 because they have a little bit better service. Overall this location does a really great job. Sometimes the vacuums don't work as well. But other than that everyone that works here is very friendly and very nice. One thing that none of the locations do anymore is dry off the vehicle. I used to really like that. But they don't do it anymore. If you come 1 to 2 times per week the membership definitely pays for itself. I think it's a great deal they do a great job here and I will continue using Mr. car wash. The only thing I would suggest is maybe make sure all the vacuums have the same suction power. Some of the vacuums or not working very well compared to the others. This Mister Car Wash has an employee stationed at the checkin screen which is self service. I can look at the screen, choose a car wash and insert my card to pay. To make matters worse they ask if you want to give a tip! For what??????? I don't need help tapping the screen to select my car wash and inserting my card. After that another employee guides me in. I need that service , but should I have to tip to be guided into the car wash!!!! isn't that his job??? Maybe I'd be inclined to tip if they would do a little extra but no they guide you in and sometimes haphazardly spray some water on your car. Yesterday was the last straw. I won't go back! I don't think that you should ask for a tip. Thank goodness another car wash is being built close by. read more

Unless you have one of the unlimited wash plans, this place may not be worth the money. It is good to get the majority of the dirt off of your vehicle, but the machinery misses many spots. Realizing the limitations, the staff used to scrub the front and back of your vehicle before proceeding through the wash. Now this happens about 20% of the time. What I do like about the place is the detail area. They have free vacuums for you to clean the inside of your vehicle. The covered area is also a good place to dry your vehicle. Again, if you have one of the unlimited wash plans the place is not a bad deal. UPDATE: The 20% front and rear scrub has not occurred at all since my last post. This review is for two things. First, their drive-through car washes are excellent - for what they are. You can't expect, and won't get, clean wheels or clean windows under a rear diffuser. But for $20/month unlimited, it's a steal. Second, and indicative of the senior management here: we moved 16 months ago, notified them of the move and requested they cancel accounts on both our cars. We thought they did, and only recently discovered that they'd missed one and had been billing us $19.99 per month for 16 months. When I reached HQ they said they were only authorized to refund six months and would have to get "permission" from the actual car wash location manager. We waited, but no response. A week later I called, same answer, said they'd try to reach that store manager again. So why four stars? We just checked our Discover card and found that they had refunded 12 months. And when I wrote to say thanks but it should be 16, they refunded the other four. Sure, it would've been better if they'd done everything right the first time, or even the second, but the bottom line is, they refunded the full amount shortly after being notified of their error. I guess I'm getting jaded at the dismal customer service almost everywhere these days, but to find a company that responds (eventually) and then performs is increasingly rare, and worth noting. read more

Was waiting in line guy came with a cone dropped it in front of my car. No polite explanation. Then rudely waved me to back up and go in another lane. Could have bothered to speak to me and politely say we are going to need you to back up and go to another lane instead of making me feet like I did something wrong. Didn't clean bugs off of windshield or front of car. Guess that's extra now. read more

So there was a huge mishap the other week which resulted in our cars being covered in oil. Well, this shouldn't have happened in the first place, however the manager did the best he could to resolve the situation. I think a few errors were made (like pulling the cars BACK through the car wash) but I can see how the whole situation could be confusing. Some people handled the incident like 4 year olds and I witnessed a customer screaming at the manager. He handled himself very professionally and did his best to deescalate the situation. I only give the car wash three stars because the car wash does miss harder grime and dirt so you'll need to be sure to bring a towel for after! read more

I thought I'd give them another try in April 2023. All new equipment and I renewed my Platinum membership which pays for itself if you utilize the facility at least twice a month. They're receiving a four star, rather than five star review because the vertical surface of my truck tailgate does not get completely clean. read more

So if the car wash isn't broken down be ready to wait 15 minutes while employees spend 15 mins detailing their own car with a power washer at the entrance of the car wash. The ironic part is they don't have that same attention to detail when you run your car through. Def won't be renewing my membership might as well take my buisness down the road. read more

17 bucks for a half-assed carwash?? So I came here because some jerk threw an egg at my car, if you don't know, the makeup of egg yolk can chemically destroy paint if left on too long, so I got the most expensive wash and asked two different attendants to specially scrub my car and make sure to get all the egg off. Well I guess this isn't the place for that kind of attention. First attendant told me to talk to another one, and that one just looked at me like I was crazy and said "OK". They didn't even try, despite having those manual brushed. Just guided me onto the convener so they could shove as many cars through as they could. Of course there were still bits of egg on the car I had to scrub off after the fact. Wasn't even a good wash by any measure, not even a hand-dry! 100% not worth it, even for the "unlimited wash" deals. Bad service, bad wash, bad experience. Go elsewhere. read more

I bought a new car a few months back, and I like to keep it in immaculate condition so when I learned about the Unlimited Pass service at Mister Car Wash I signed up right away. For $19.99/month I can go to any Houston location area and go through a designated lane for Unlimited Pass members. If it is a full service location they will have people wipe down your car in addition to the dryer. The only downside of this service is there are times where water stains appear because the staff does not wipe it down carefully. I have an SUV so the top does not get wiped. I sometimes I have to pull over and ask someone to do the top of the car. Other than that you can beat the price! read more

I always get a great wash at Mister Car Wash. I take my convertible thru this wash because it doesn't have the brushes that go over the top (only on the sides). Having vacuums there is a plus as well. I haven't had any issues with any of my washes for any of my vehicles. I ONLY use Mister Car Wash. read more
