This place is not worth the money. They charged me $70 and didn't even clean the running boards. When I commented on the missed parts of the exterior they wanted to charge me extra to clean the running boards. They do not clean anything on the inside. When I inquired about this they offered to detail the inside for an additional $70. This service was no more than you get at Clearwater carwash that you drive through and vacuum out yourself. Save your money. It's a disgrace to call this place an Auto Detailer. read more

Mr Hand does an excellent job on the car, inside and out. Their waiting room is the worst ever though. Gave me the creeps. It smells. I recommend a little more welcoming waiting room. The furniture is something for a patio. Walls need painting. Poor lighting. Price is right. read more

Stopped by to get my wife's car washed several times. I prefer to get her vehicle hand-washed. From a washing perspective, these guys are great. They make the car clean -- and it doesn't take a long time. The thing holding me back from giving this place a high rating is the pricing. When you go, you will not see posted prices for cars / trucks / whatever. In order to get pricing, a man (presuming it's the owner) looks at the car and gives you a price. Not the end of the world except that over multiple visits my price wasn't consistent. It went up from one week to the next. When I went to pay, even the lady at the desk asked me what I was quoted. Magnolia Location on FM 1488: Was interested in giving a True Patriot my business so I took my Corolla for a wash/wax. The young lady at the front desk needs someone to teach her 'front desk' attitude and service. I was surprised the wash/wax only took about 20+ minutes. For the price, it wasn't worth $100. Maybe $60, but definitely not worth the full price! The wax looked ok but when you can't even get the details...NO I couldn't believe the obviously missed debris that would have taken less than an extra 5 minutes to get and they didn't even pull up the mats to get underneath!! I had to take back my recommendation to another friend and tell them 'not worth the money'....such a shame as it was convenient and quick. Hopefully the owner reads the reviews and make necessary changes! Easy changes to make to get awesome reviews rather than the ones I've been reading from the last year 2023 - 2024. read more

Much as my love for convenience begs me to take my car through automatic car washes, there is no way a timed hose can get into the little nooks and crannies where dirt and grime form their oft untouched layers. Feeling the need to give my vehicle a deeper clean, I decided to take it to Mr. Hand Car Wash. I got a little turned around for my first visit since there are no clear, brightly-lit signs nor parking spaces to let you know where you ought to pull up. As it turned out, the car wash was a simple setup at the corner of a gas station - three men and a little booth where a young woman processes payment. When I pulled up, one of the men gave me a quote ($25 for my sedan) and when I accepted, I turned over my keys and directed to the booth. It was all informal and homely but quick. The car wash itself was light years away from my usual drive thru wash. The whole wash was done by hand and they paid great attention to the many spaces in the wheel rims. Since there was no one else in the lot, the whole affair took less than ten minutes. read more

Extremely RUDE!!!! My husband came to pick up his truck and found this huge crack on it. The OWNER explained it was like that already (which it wasn't) then he said it had a chip that cracked with the water. The OWNER then told my husband he's not doing sh*** for him. Great service every time! I got my car washed and it was fast and fabulous. It was a very good price for the outcome.

I really like this small family-run business. If you're in the area, this is one of the few hand wash places, and they have reasonable prices too, unlike other places along Louetta and 1960. They tend to price according to how expensive your car is, so beware. A 4 door civic will be less than a 4 door bmw. My main reason for taking off 1 star. Attention to detail is superb here, and they are very quick for as few people as they have. There are generally 2 people washing the cars and they will pull it up under the canopy and have a 2nd crew of about 3 people dry the car. Payment is made to the lady in the shed at the back of the parking lot. read more

Thanks to Yelp, I was able to search an unfamiliar (to me) area to find a car wash. Looking for one of those quick 'drive thru' places, I saw Mr Hand Car Wash. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I pulled in while one car was in front of me being washed and another at the drying station. Walking up to the window, I asked how long. 20 minutes. Inside and out? Yes 20 minutes. I went into the air conditioned waiting area. Right on the nose.....20 minutes. My Subaru Outback hasn't been this clean since I purchased it a year ago! Fantastic quality workmanship. Worth the $30!!!! I highly recommend this business. read more

Took my moms car for a deep cleaning, which it needed badly, the back seats had gum, candy and god knows what from the kids. If you call back going you'll get two very different prices, I highly suggest you go and as you pull up negotiate with the individual assessing your car situation. I got a great deal for a inside shampoo and detail plus the outside which was less than 40 dollars from what I was quoted on the phone. The car came out great! This place is a hidden gem. I've been paying $40 for a mediocre clean and took to help to find something better, and I was willing to pay more. It's easy to miss Mr. Hand Car wash. It's a little red shack in a gas station parking lot. To have the inside and outside deep cleaned was $30. They did a way better job than the previous place and it was cheaper. Great customer service, it took less than 30 minutes, and with great detail. This is the only place I will be going. read more

I have driven past this place several times and today I decided to stop by. There was two cars ahead of mine and they got to my vehicle very quickly. I have a Toyota 4Runner that was very dirty on the outside and inside due to going in and out of construction areas (dirt and mud). They did an awesome job cleaning both inside and out. Also was able to get in an out very quickly which is a huge plus! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone in the area needing to get your car washed. read more

After seeing the all the good reviews about this place I decide to take the drive out there. Honestly not very satisfied, don't get me wrong the people working are very hard working people and fast ! But Idk if it's my black truck, or the materials they use when drying that they left lint all over. They also left water marks that they didn't blow off properly. The wash was decent. Detailing was questionable. They used a stack of dirty towels to wipe down both the inside and outside of the car. Same towels as they used on other cars, the same towels on the outside as they use to wipe your interior. My car smelled like sweat and had small balls of debris/lint/who knows what on the interior. The front of the car was vacuumed decently, but the backseat was completely neglected. I'm 8 months pregnant and could've done a better job vacuuming the backseat. Judging from reviews, I was charged in the upper end of $40, and I tipped, for a mediocre wash. Will be detailing my car on my own moving forward. read more

Family run business that is located next to a Citgo gas station. I had my wife's car detailed today for $220 w/tip. That included detailing the engine, interior & exterior and it looks like a car right out of the showroom. The only bad thing is a new Kroger being built across the street and with a wind from the East the dust from that site gets blown right on top of your just detailed car. It's not their fault, but I will wait for the dust to settle next time. read more
