Solid BBQ, but I've had better. I like the concept; how they honor our servicemen and women, and show respect for our safety forces as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered samples and were eager to answer any questions and explain the restaurant's mission. The brisket was good and they had six sauces available- the KC sauce was one of the best and addictive. I would put this on just about anything. Overall, a pretty solid meal if a bit on the pricey side. read more

Disappointing. Three of us shared some items and the brisket, potato salad, collard greens and green beans were way too salty. Turkey and pulled chicken were not. Probably won't return because we were told corporate recipes are followed. No need for that much salt IMO. read more

Was in the area and wanted to try something new. We had never been and probably had the look of new customer stamped all over our faces! Heather came right up to us and explained the way their menu works and even gave us her recommendation. We were shocked with that behavior because how many restaurants actually give you that service?! We sat down and enjoyed our meal. This is nothing more than a City BBQ branded with a different name. They may claim they're different, but it's the same formula. We tried the turkey and brisket, both were average at best. What gives this place a bad one star are the sides. They were all stone cold. We couldn't even eat them. They were unpalatable. The prices (for what you get) are on the high end. With combo up-charges you'll quickly get to $15 a person for portions and quality that just doesn't measure up. My mission will be to avoid this place going forward. read more

Literally everyone was so nice and pleasant to speak with and it was near closing time n they was still super energetic and nice! I love barbecue, and this place is good especially the ribs and honestly better than most, but I feel they are over-priced for what you get.

Solid bbq, was looking to try after so many recommendations and it was above average for a place to get some protein. Good options, even the non traditional like turkey had a good amount of smoke. The meats were very well seasoned which is great news as the one downside is that I didn't really dig any of the sauces, some odd tastes but no spicy or traditional bbq. Sides were average. One more positive is the caramel apple cobbler. I will definitely be back. read more

First time we ordered pickup and got a platter to share. I would give them 3 stars on their BBQ- the brisket had the most flavor, the pork was nothing special, and the chicken wasn't dry but it wasn't noteworthy either. The second time, we sat in and I ordered shrimp. The staff is very friendly, but the shrimp I got was way over salted. They replaced it with some good looking brisket but the gnat problem was just way too prominent to eat inside. At one point, three sat around the rim of my boyfriend's beer can and I spent most of the short time we were sitting waving them away from the food. Their Mac and cheese is definitely worth a purchase- I almost never order this dish in a restaurant because I like to bake my own, but their Mac and cheese was surprisingly good, and it was baked and from scratch. All it needs is a little mustard to bring out the cheese flavor and give it some real umami. If they got rid of the gnat problem, worked on seasoning, and got some decent beer on tap, this place would be bangin'. I probably won't be coming back due to this experience; it's put me off the place. But I wish them the best. If you do decide to get the shrimp, don't ignore the mustard sauce that comes with it because it helps cut some of the salt. read more

We ordered food to go recently and loved everything. We tried the chicken and pork sandwiches. The pork was definitely my favorite. The chicken was a little dry. First of all, the employees at this location are extremely nice and welcoming. The food is amazing. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with warmth and smells of smoked meats and BBQ sauce. The pulled pork is the best I've ever had. The sausage and brisket is also amazing. All of the sides that I've tried were so good they tasted like something my grandma would make. Definitely try the Smokey mountain BBQ sauce. Its amazing as well. First time there today, got pulled pork sandwich NC style (cole slaw on top), and the sandwich is THICK with meat! Fresh cut fries on the side, to go, all for under $9. They fill you in if you're a newbie there, on their food, etc. and stress nothing nuked or frozen. You get your sauces when they call your name to pick up your order and will try to match you up with sauces you will like. Got KC Classic and Tupelo Honey Hot sauce, both excellent. I assume if you eat there they bring it all to your table. Pork was tender, fries were done right, can tell they're fresh. And to top that off they SUPPORT AMERICA, the police, and the military, wish I could add 5 more stars for that. Service was fast and professional. I will go back, may do ribs next time, and I seen someone ordered a half fried chicken, looked real good, I told them I'll be back soon for that. read more

The first time we tried Mission BBQ was only 6 or 7 months ago and we have been a huge fans ever since. We have been there about a dozen times and it is always fantastic! I usually get the Beef Brisket but today I tried the Smoked Steak Blackplate Special and it was wonderful!! What a wonderful staff that makes you feel so welcome as soon as you open that big door. We tried Mission BBQ this evening. At first I was a little disappointed by the prices... until I received our food and saw how plentiful the portions are! My mom got the pulled pork and I got the brisket (lean). Each of us tried one bone of spare rib and baby back rib. We are each able to eat two full meals with what we purchased! Went there with my family on Friday night for dinner. The line moved pretty fast. The meat was ok but the sauces were a bit to spicy for me. I don't know if they have other sauces than the six on the table but I ended up using ketchup on the meat. I'd suggest you try the sauces before you pour it onto your meal and find you don't like it.
