We ordered food to go recently and loved everything. We tried the chicken and pork sandwiches. The pork was definitely my favorite. The chicken was a little dry. First of all, the employees at this location are extremely nice and welcoming. The food is amazing. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with warmth and smells of smoked meats and BBQ sauce. The pulled pork is the best I've ever had. The sausage and brisket is also amazing. All of the sides that I've tried were so good they tasted like something my grandma would make. Definitely try the Smokey mountain BBQ sauce. Its amazing as well. First time there today, got pulled pork sandwich NC style (cole slaw on top), and the sandwich is THICK with meat! Fresh cut fries on the side, to go, all for under $9. They fill you in if you're a newbie there, on their food, etc. and stress nothing nuked or frozen. You get your sauces when they call your name to pick up your order and will try to match you up with sauces you will like. Got KC Classic and Tupelo Honey Hot sauce, both excellent. I assume if you eat there they bring it all to your table. Pork was tender, fries were done right, can tell they're fresh. And to top that off they SUPPORT AMERICA, the police, and the military, wish I could add 5 more stars for that. Service was fast and professional. I will go back, may do ribs next time, and I seen someone ordered a half fried chicken, looked real good, I told them I'll be back soon for that. read more

The first time we tried Mission BBQ was only 6 or 7 months ago and we have been a huge fans ever since. We have been there about a dozen times and it is always fantastic! I usually get the Beef Brisket but today I tried the Smoked Steak Blackplate Special and it was wonderful!! What a wonderful staff that makes you feel so welcome as soon as you open that big door. We tried Mission BBQ this evening. At first I was a little disappointed by the prices... until I received our food and saw how plentiful the portions are! My mom got the pulled pork and I got the brisket (lean). Each of us tried one bone of spare rib and baby back rib. We are each able to eat two full meals with what we purchased! I was SO pleased by the tenderness and flavor of everything we tried. I will certainly return! read more

Went there with my family on Friday night for dinner. The line moved pretty fast. The meat was ok but the sauces were a bit to spicy for me. I don't know if they have other sauces than the six on the table but I ended up using ketchup on the meat. I'd suggest you try the sauces before you pour it onto your meal and find you don't like it. All I can say is delicious... I had the brisket mac and cheese and sting beans. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the mac and cheese was to die for, the only downside was the string beans which weren't seasoned enough for me and had a slight sweet taste. I thought the service could have been better and the food was decent but not the best BBQ place I've ever been. I did like the amount of sauces they had. I have rated restaurants before, but this is only my third review. If you ever visit Parma (southern suburb of Cleveland), you must go to Mission BBQ. (Though never franchised, I understand that there are others). If not the best, this is one of the top three BBQ joints anywhere, ever. It's the only place I've liked this many meats. The most tender ribs, fantastic brisket (I'm not really a brisket lover), even the sausage! I lived in Georgia for about 6 years, the midwest most of the rest (53) and Mission made the best banana pudding ever! One of Mission BBQ's Mission is great service and honoring service people for taking care of us. Service paraphernalia are the decor. But as a food service and service trainer, Mission has fantastic service. I've had fantastic service, but only where it's about $100 a head. This is full-service, thoughtful, polite and thoughtful. They do not take tips (but do t refuse them either). Mission even has the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen! This would have been more stars, but I went back for seconds. I got the 3 meat special. The brisket was really good but not great (for great brisket, check out Barabicu on Ridge). The ribs were delicious and tender. The pulled chicken was really good too. Good fries and decent mac and cheese rounded out the meal. I would give it between 4 and 4 1/2 stars. The ribs were so good I went back for a couple more. Big mistake. The second batch I got had so much salt on the bark of the ribs that I couldn't even finish them. I don't know what kind of quality control they have there, but someone screwed up big time. Enough to cost the review at least a star if not 2. read more

Went for Sunday lunch and everything was very good. The only downside is the size of the sides. I don't understand why BBQ places think you only want 2 spoonfuls of a side and use the small side cups. The only side worth it are the fries which they give a good amount. Great BBQ sauces also. First time here and the food was awesome! They ask if you prefer lean or fatty cut meat. I got lean brisket (ribs without bones) and it was perfect. The portion was small but filled me up. 6 different BBQ sauces on table to choose from. Came with cornbread. I got Cole slaw too. Excellenté!!!
