I came here for dinner with a couple of friends. We had made a reservation for this place prior. The restaurant was busy at the time we went. So booking a reservation is recommended. This place was on my list to try out. The restaurant itself has a really cute vibe, waiters/waitresses are wearing hawaiian themed shirts. So this place is mainly known for their drinks because that's all I see on posts from people that have gone. Personally this place is expensive for no reason. The food was alright, and wasn't many things on the menu. We basically just shared what we got and then went to Craig's Cookies across the restaurant for dessert because this place didn't have dessert. The drinks were more watered down and didn't really taste that great. Definitely will not be coming back.

Overall, expensive tropical-inspired drinks that weren't as good as other tiki bars I've tried. The service was also quite slow and the decor didn't fully transport me to Hawaii. We came on a Saturday night, so the back converts into a dance floor ~11pm! The music was good and the DJ was very receptive. But not many people were dancing at all, so it felt a bit empty.

Really great service and the food was tasty! Loved the poke tacos and the pineapple fried rice. Ribs were bomb as well.

Congrats Toronto you've ruined Hawaiian food. Being someone who's spent time in Hawaii I was expecting a delicious and fresh meal. We came in to blaring aggressive bar music. The mural on the wall was nice but that's where the enjoyment stops. Our first server came up to our table wearing a winter coat. The restaurant wasn't even that cold! I started with a pineapple and watermelon juice mock-tail. WHY WOULD THAT BE SPICY? It was not advertised to be spicy! From the face I made alone that should've been compt. We got the Kalua Pork Buns to start off. The meat was okay but the toppings where repulsive. Spicy and pickled pineapple and tomato's. A gross combo. Onto the mains. Someone with me got the Maui Kalbi Ribs. I'd like you to tell me where the meat is! All she received was a pile of bones and fat. Her side of rice was like wet cardboard mush with a hint of teriyaki. Her Macaroni salad was also overly spicy but according to her "at least semi edible". It reminded her of school lunch. Me and another companion got the Short Rib Loco Moco. The only thing Loco about it was the fact that it was NOT a Loco Moco. The short rib is was basically cheap fatty stew meat and the egg was fishy tasting. The rice did not have Loco Moco sauce on it but instead a strangely peppery and sour steak sauce. The Brussel sprouts and Mushrooms where both extremely over cooked. We hardly ate anything off our mains but still paid over 100 bucks for the meal. The bathroom was also small with a faulty sink. Avoid this place like Hawaii during hurricane season!

A great little taste of the tropics in the middle of a cold day could of not been a better idea. Went here to eat with some friends and so glad this place was a choice. I was a little anxious to begin with as I don't eat seafood and when I looked at the menu a good bulk of it was seafood based. However, I decided on the Loco Moco and so glad I did! It was flavourful and extremely tasty. The balance of mushrooms, sushi rice and the gravy was perfect, not overpowering with the other ingredients. My husband ordered the fried chicken and it was alright. I found it not to be as flavorful even with the scheuzan dipping sauce. This place is known for their drinks and from the table across from us, they can be very elaborate! Sadly, no drink orders this time but maybe next time around.

Visited pre-COVID, but (in terms of patrons) it was still poppin'...welcoming, cozy environment. Super nice decor & wall art really setting the mood & highlighting the Hawaiian theme.Staff were friendly, however we needed to wave them down after waiting around for a couple of times. The drinks were alrightttt, obviously aesthetic AF for the gram but they didn't taste as good as they looked (lol the banana dolphin lookin' one my girl got smelled & tasted like banana medicine...IIIII lowkey highkey love that potent banana flavouring, but nobody else was a fan). We ordered a couple of things for the table, but my favourite dish had to be the pineapple frie drice. It's served in a pineapple (SOOO DOPE) & isn't too sweet or tangy, and has just the right amount of seasoning. It honestly tasted like Chinese fried rice, probably because of the excess oil but it wasn't too oily to be unappealing & it wasn't too salty either (truussss mi daddiget thissss if you're ordering for take out or delivery, you won't be disappointed).

Had a great time with friends. The bartender was really friendly and the service was great. I loved the decor and presentation of their dishes and drinks.

Came here for the birthday dinner and definitely enjoyed the food. Their mochi fried chicken is great and they have some interesting drinks. I was a little disappointed when the waitress was hurrying us up to leave. She never told us that there was a 2 hour seating limit when we came in and we weren't finished as yet. She should have mentioned it to us in the beginning when we got seated.

Very cute venue with great looking wallpaper ! Obvious space at the back which looks like can turn into a dance floor ! Menu : not a large menu but very Hawaiian friendly (not sure what else id go back to try if I did not get the poke bowl ...) ! I had the poke bowl which did not disappoint ! Explosion of flavours - crispy onions, fresh pickled ginger !!, seaweed salad, ahi tuna, vegan mayo, edamame all combined over a bed of brown rice ! Very filling and very wholesome ! First time trying ahi tuna and thanks to this - not the last :) Service : we did not have reservations but was briefed at the initial outset may not get seated but she found us a table of 2 . Cocktails and meals came out in a reasonable time.

Favourite item: ALL THE DRINKS - I would rarely list a drink as my favourite item, but all the drinks I tried deserve a shoutout. I would definitely come back for the drinks which are all delicious, cutely decorated, and unique. My recommended drink is Electric Banana which has an authentic but not overpowering banana taste. Pineapple fried rice - this comes in a half pineapple with a thick enough layer of fruit you can actually eat. We ordered this with pork belly (huge slices btw), which was filling and delicious. Fried eggplant - these were perfectly fried (not soggy but also not too crispy) and so tasty! Short rib loco moco - soft ribs and a nicely cooked egg (slightly runny still) over a huge bed of veggies and rice. The flavours are not too strong and I didn't think there was anything too special about this dish. Overall, the drinks are a must try and the food portions are huge for the price you're paying (especially in this area). You can't go wrong!

Worst place i have ever been for dinner. For both service and food. I went here for my friends birthday (Beware do not go in large groups they can not handle it). The chairs. do not even get me started. I have never been to a restaurant where i had to CLIMB onto the sofas because they were so HIGH. i'm not a short person i am 5'4 and i had to hop up there on the ledge. This would have been fine if i was sitting alone but our table is connected like a long table so everyone had to get off the stupid sofa just to go washroom and climb back up again. Why make seating like this!? have they even tried it!? Even sitting on it we all felt like we were half falling off because of the fabric. Now the food was ridiculously expensive. Yes they have got presentation on point, we got to try a few of their signature drinks as we all shared. Nothing stuck out to us except for how cute they would be for pictures. The food did not match the price point at all. I've tried better Chinese restaurants for a fraction of the price. They worked so hard on presentation they forgot about their quality of food. They figured people will just show up because their place is so instagrammable. And guess what? it worked. Thats what they gotta do. Their service was the absolute worst as well. We kept having to call over a waitress (more than one person) to come and take our order. She kept responding she will get our server. We were STARVING by the time our waitress came. When we ordered they somehow lost our order so a different person came to get our order. A male. No one asked us how our meal was, No one gave us water. No one came by to take away our food. I will never go back here again and do not recommend this place to anyone. There are much better places for that price point and employees that will treat you with more respect. Even asking for the bill was such a hassle. The amount of attitude these female waitresses had... they walked around with their chin up. Beware.

What a fun place for drinks! Love how creative and fun the cocktails here are. While the cocktails are a tad on the pricy side, you do get your money's worth. The decor here is very cute and it's almost you are not even in Toronto anymore, and more like a Tiki bar somewhere on an exotic beach The watermelon love bomb is huge and come with sparklers. If you see it on the menu I highly recommend getting it

Hawaiian-inspired atmosphere, decor, drinks & food makes this place the perfect choice for a GNO! I am surprised that I've never heard of this place before but am so glad my friend chose Miss Things. My friends and I were seated right away upon arrival. Most busy places still make you wait even though you have a reservation but it was very fast here, so we were off to a very good start! For food, we went with poke wonton tacos, Kalua bao, miso mussels and of course the pineapple fried rice. My favourite dish is definitely the pineapple fried rice. Everything about this dish complimented each other so well. I was expecting it to be very sweet because of the pineapples but the pork belly balanced it all out and made it very enjoyable. The aesthetics for this is also A1, it's served in a pineapple! This is definitely a must every visit LOL The other 3 dishes were good too but it didn't really stand out to me as much as the fried rice. The tacos are my second favourite, I love poke in general so having it served in a taco was a very nice and interesting touch. The bao looked a lot better than it tasted though, I'm not sure what it is but something was "missing" to give it that wow factor & my whole table agreed. The mussels were also very small and despite it being drenched in the sauce, it still tasted very plain. For drinks, I really regret not getting the more "insta-worthy" cocktails! My friends and I got very basic drinks so we basically just got drinks one regular cups..... well mine was in a pineapple cup but it was not as cute and unique as the other cocktails pictured on here.. My friends and I noticed a lot of very cool and different cocktails being brought out and we asked our server what every drink was LMFAO She mentioned something about a secret menu so that is something I plan to explore for my next visit... Service was pretty good. Our server (I forgot her name :( ) was very patient from start to end. Half our table was running late, couldn't decide what to order and asked a lot of questions about drinks at other tables LOL It was a bit slow at times, especially getting the bill and waiting for our change but it was very busy so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Writing this review already makes me excited to go back to Miss Things to order their pineapple fried rice and try what ever else they have to offer! I love everything about this place from the ambiance, to their menu and to their aesthetics. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are planning a GNO and want to try something new and lively! Their playlist is also FIRE Too!

Impeccable. The staff was genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. I felt welcomed from the second I walked through the door. I ordered the Avocado Salmon Toast paired with the beautifully pink and perfectly named Pink Flamingo drink. My friend went for the Sweet Berry Waffle and a classic lemonade. Let me just say--the flavors did not disappoint. The salmon was fresh, creamy avocado was piled high, and the toppings were thoughtfully layered. My only tiny critique (and I say this with love): the toast itself was a little too crispy for my liking. It made the dish a bit tricky to cut into, and the texture leaned dry. Next time, I'll definitely ask for it untoasted or lightly toasted. A softer base would really let those flavors shine without the crunch competing. Now let's talk about that Pink Flamingo--WOW. It was tropical, sweet, and honestly gave me vacation-in-a-glass vibes. I almost ordered a second, but adulting (and budgeting) called me back to reality. That said, it's worth every sip! I snuck a few bites from my friend's Sweet Berry waffles, and yep--I'm getting that next time!! Light, fruity, tasty!! I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Who knows, maybe next time I'll get to sample a few more dishes Seriously though--support local and give this place a try. You'll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
