I had the fried chicken meal. The fried chicken isn't amazing. For 18.99 the Mac and cheese was the best part. The environment is cute, and the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 3. If Miss Lillian is performing you'll have fun and see a great person performing a great show.

First time here, and it was pretty good. It was self serve from the time we paid our bill to getting our drinks & utensils. Napkins were at the table. After paying, we had our choice of cold salads. The macaroni and potato salads were okay, and the frito chip corn salad was fair. The chips weren't crunchy. The cole slaw was creamy and delicious. From the main line, the sweet potato casserole was excellent. Beans were good & worth a second helping. Baked apples & mashed potatoes were good too. All of us tried the fried chicken, and it was very good. Smoked chicken was tasty. Pork loin was a little dry. Turkey was okay. Biscuit was moist and tasty. With only one serving line, getting seconds was tricky. But we got them. We had second helpings of fried chicken and beans. Of all the desserts, I tried banana pudding (excellent) & brownie (sweet & chocolate). No one else had room. For fast and easy and on your own, this was good. For all you can eat, the price was right.

Very disappointing, got there at 1:15, waited on a long line for Brisket, the people in front of my wife and I ordered Brisket and the restaurant ran out just when we were asking. Second, the portion of Coleslaw was laughable, it was literally two half forks full. Not even enough for a baby...Mac n cheese was below average, potato salad was okay...the best thing about the lunch was the Coke Zero. $42.93 later and we are now looking for another lunch place in Dollywood to eat because we are both still hungry. I understand I'm at a theme park, I work at a national Zoo and we would never serve that low level and super small taste of sides and not be completely embarrassed.

The buffet was around $60 for all-you-can-eat crab legs, which sounded promising. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, the crab legs were cold when we first got them. They were overcooked and lacked flavor. We did manage to get a fresher batch later, which was better, but still not great. The promotional video online clearly had some Hollywood magic--what we experienced was far from what was advertised. Overall, the buffet was a letdown. Much of the food wasn't fresh, most dishes were bland, and a few were downright inedible. The crab cakes looked like sausage patties and were just as tough. The fried oysters were slimy and mushy--not the kind of texture you expect, even for oysters. I love fried oysters, but these were a hard pass. The crab-stuffed flounder was bland, though the stuffing tasted more like what a crab cake should taste like. The frog legs were surprisingly decent and did taste like chicken. Mussels and clams were a disappointment. Green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and the mac and cheese reminded me of frozen Stouffer's. The peel-and-eat shrimp were good, but the raw oysters were a disaster--visually unappealing and smelled off. And yes, September is an "R" month, so they should've been fine. We asked for fresher ones, and what we got still didn't pass the sniff test. I love raw oysters, but I wasn't about to risk it. Vegetable options were limited: mushrooms (which were good), canned green beans, corn on the cob, and fried okra. Service from our waitress, was hit-or-miss and didn't leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere was awkward--no music, just the hum of kitchen staff talking. It felt more like a quiet cafeteria than a lively restaurant. While that made it easy to chat with our party, it also made the overall vibe feel stale. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean. But for the price, it wasn't worth it--and we won't be returning.

Parking is tight. 2:30 Sunday afternoon and there is a line. It's dark. It's old. It's cramped. It's packed. Pay as you enter at some booth that looks like a fortune teller would be sitting in it. If the fortune teller was indeed there- they would say you are about to be forever changed. We paid- got seated- and headed to the buffet. Holy guacamole Batman. It's tight and crowded. They had prawns or maybe crawfish- missus loved them. They had shrimp. Fried fish looked rough. They had everything you can find in a Chinese food place. They had miles of noodles, piles of egg rolls and dumplings and spring rolls. They had ice cream and cookies and desserts. They had cakes and puddings and yes- a salad or three. If you got to a buffet and eat a salad- you got issues I can't fix. The final test: missus says she didn't see red jello. It isn't a real buffet without the red jello. I went looking. Yes- three kinds of jello. How did everything taste? Missus liked it all and really liked the potatoes ( why, just, why.) I thought the place was absolutely terrific. Old and a bit tired but the food was so very good. The service from our waits was good. She would say to people "I see you" and smile as she took the empty plates or refilled glasses. We paid $12.99 per person, plus $3 per person for drinks. With tip is was like $38 ish bucks. I can spend that at Freddy's or Burger King for two people. So- if ya haven't been there, try it. If ya have- you hopefully had the same great experience we did. Ive included a photo of the jello, just to prove how authentic Sakura is.

Walking in, I was surprised to pay first before you eat as most places I ever been to is eat and pay later. The variety here is actually decent as I expected it to be a lot smaller than anticipated. They have their sushi bar, hibachi (cook to order), fried section, cold bar, salad bar, and dessert area. I really enjoyed their hibachi made to order areas. The cook definitely had some skills. The flavor was definitely on point! The dumpling dipping sauce was amazing. Best I have ever tasted. I am shocked this place didn't get better reviews. The waitress was attentive and kept clearing our table and giving us refills. The ice cream and fruits here was not bad at all. The quality of ice cream was very good and I really enjoyed it. Coming from Atlanta with all the Chinese buffets, I am very surprised to actually enjoy this spot. I highly recommend here if you're in town wanting some good Asian buffet. Price was just right as well. I can't wait to come back!!

She said they just started the lunch buffet. At 2:30??? I asked for sweet tea with lemon. She never told me they didn't offer lemon. I've never heard of this and was quite shocked. Somehow a white squeeze filled with a liquid appeared at our table without introduction. Apparently, lemon juice was in it but we werent informed what the liquid was. I smelled it and I think it was lemon juice. Bryan, who works in the back I think, explained that they dont offer lemons for some odd reason. We noticed we didnt have any silverware so my husband tried to find Christy. He found her and she was leaned up against the cabinet in the back laughing with 3 other servers. He gave up and found good old Bryan again to save the day! I went to the bar and tried the chicken fingers that were hard as a rock and tasteless. I tossed them on the table. I didnt even want it on my plate. Bryan came and told me he dropped some fresh ones in the frier for me as he wanted us to have fresh food. We stacked our used plates at the end of the table. Went back to the bar, came back and my silverware was gone. She took mine but left my husbands. I'm like that's it. Bryan brought me new silverware. She was again playing Miss Congeniality in the back. This manager needs to pay better attention to his staff. No wonder there was only 2 more couples in there at that time. When we were preparing to leave I asked Bryan if we can cash out with him and he get credit for the sale. He said sure. She FINALLY came to the table wanting to know if we needed anything, more tea, coke etc. Where was she the last 45 minutes when we needed her??? She saw the ten dollar bill on the table and probably figured it was her tip. It would have been had she been an attentive server but I gave it to Bryan who was a far better effective and friendly server than she was. She needs more training in customer service. The manager needs more training in being an effective manager and watching his people. Be better folks. Bryan you are a great example of an employee with exemplary customer service. Maybe you would be a fine manager/trainer. Keep up the good work.

It took me a while to write this review because I was still trying to process just how disappointing the experience was for the whole family. Let's start with the positive: the staff was genuinely lovely--from the warm greeting at the door to our server and the buffet attendants. Everyone was kind and attentive, and they were doing their best. Now, the food. While the buffet was abundant, much of it was barely edible and did not taste freshly made. My teens--who love fried chicken--took one bite and declared it "unedible," which was my first red flag. They reverted to the kids' station, but the mac & cheese was mushy and unrecognizable, and everything else there had been steamed to within inches of its life. I tried to rally enthusiasm with the donut wall, but despite being coated in sugar, the donuts were oddly tasteless. Many items across the buffet were overly salted--yes, even the greens were sodium loaded . At the made-to-order station, I tried the stir-fry, which was unfortunately drowned in what tasted like bottled sauce. Our last hope was the crêpe station. I understand this is a high-volume restaurant, but the crêpes were clearly prepackaged, reheated to order, and filled with canned fruit. Once again: edible, but barely. We did manage to laugh together about how much we love Dolly Parton--and how shocking it was that food this bad carried her name. I can't speak to ordering off the regular menu, but I strongly recommend saving your hard-earned money and skipping this buffet altogether. Perhaps a freshly made omelet might have been better, but nothing here justified the $65 per person price tag. Aunt Grannies at the theme park is definitely better, but since it was a holiday we eventually went to Bucc- ees later to get better food .
