Stopped by for breakfast while in town recently on business, this is an old school diner with sitdown service. My team and I grabbed a booth. We were told to take a seat anywhere upon entry. Our server brought menus and the general intros, we placed our beverage requests and off they went returning shortly with my coffee, a large apple juice and water no ice. After a minute, I came up with a combo and we all placed our orders. I went for the biscuits and gravy it comes with bacon and browns and I added a side order of two over medium eggs. The biscuits are huge, and pretty good, the gravy was okay, but mines better. The bacon again was good but, my local sourced is better. The eggs, were overcooked. Not a lot but enough to make them over, again it was okay just not great. Anyways, it was an average breakfast in a sea of average breakfast places.. 3 Stars it served its purpose that morning 00856

If you have passed by this 260 Cafe on your travels through Payson perhaps you should make a 180 and try some of their breakfast items. We came here as it was dog friendly and it was on the 260 (hence the name). The menu items have all your standard breakfast fare such as omelettes and benedicts with a few uncommon items such as the lobster benedict. When I mentioned to the server I was torn between getting the pumpkin pecan pancakes and the lobster benedict she recommended the benedict so I went with the expert opinion. It did take some time for the breakfast items to come out but when they did they looked pretty spectacular. The lobster benedict tasted more like a crab cake made with surumi rather than chunks of real lobster but it still tasted fine as a benedict. The eggs weren't super runny, I'd say poached medium, and looked great presentation wise. The hash browns were plentiful and had a light golden brown outer "crust." The tiny tot had the bear pancakes ($3) and a cup of fresh fruit ($3). The bear pancakes are adorable and she said they tasted great! The fresh fruit consisted of strawberry and honeydew melon pieces. Service was friendly and we were checked up on as needed. The decor is homey and a bit like eating at your quirky great aunt's place. There are mismatched chairs and various cutsey metal signs and decorations on the walls. There is a front and back parking lot. There was plenty of parking when we were here for breakfast. Details: - Open for breakfast and lunch - Dog friendly patio, dog bowls filled with water on the patio for your puppers - Extra surcharge for credit card payments - Look for the big 260 sign!

This place is a hidden gem. The pies are home made and delicious. Clean bathrooms and a wide sitting area. Customer service is excellent!!

Here for breakfast. Pros and cons. After seating, took a while to get coffee. Place is pretty rustic,as expected. Wife ordered Bacon and eggs, I had country fried steak and eggs. Wifes scrambled eggs were okay, bacon okay, hash browns Very good. Huge slab, and nice and crusty. My CFS was pretty good, crunchy but smothered in a rather tasteless gravy. Again, hash browns really good. Eggs okay. Biscuits and gravy... acceptable. Biscuits a little doughy, and smothered in the same gravy. Very hearty meal. Had to flag down waitress for coffee refill. After adding sugar to her coffee from shaker on table, she asks me what the little black spots are in the sugar. They were tiny little gnats! I used the packets. Would we return? Nah!

The "Jay Monday". What is it you ask? 1/2 coffee - 1/2 hot chocolate- whip cream & drizzled chocolate

Every time I'm in town I try to stop in and grab some grub. Nothing better than great food and a family owned restaurant. Happiness is toxic and spreads like a wildfire and when you walk in the door you get your greeting and all the way till your backside gets hit by the door on the way out, you're feeling the joy in this place. Come for the atmosphere and positive vibes and leave with a belly full of American style breakfast happiness

Ok....wowza...where do I start?!?!? Coffee....life starts with coffee, so let me tell you how amazingly delicious there coffee is!! Smooth, fresh, perfection!! Now the Benedict....WTH kinda goodness did they put in the sauce!! LOL....I mean seriously the best Benedict I've had at a restaurant in 3 years! They also did this special thing with the muffin...they put butter on it ....holy macaroni!! Yes please and thank you give me more!! Now the potatoes...hashbrowns were cooked just right. Brown and crunchy outside and tender inside....woot woot....so good!! When In or passing thru Payson you MUST stop at the cafe. Don't judge it by the outside appearance. The food and staff are 5 star!! When done head across the street for the best antique store you will find in Payson AZ!! Was perfect day with my mom.

$30 for a sandwich and salad and two iced tea, seems a bit steep for a diner. I heard the kitchen using the microwave quite a bit for the hour we were there dining. Not sure if anything is cooked fresh. Server was very friendly!

We wanted to stop somewhere for a quick cold sandwich after visiting the Tonto Natural Bridge. Found Miss Fitz on Yelp and decided to check it out! The interior has this cute, intimate feeling for a cafe... almost like you've been invited into someone's house. I love that. The two of us were sat at a table immediately, the wait staff was quickly attentive and we had our orders delivered to our table in no time. The waitress suggested the everything bagel for bread choice on the BLTA and it was delicious. The fries and onion rings were nice and crispy - not all places get that right, so we were happy! My boyfriend said the rueben sandwich was good as well. We will have to come back to try their breakfast next time we are in town since the photos of their breakfast on Yelp look delicious!!!

Many places to sit, this is the front entrance and counter.

This is a superstar team, waitresses are super fast. Carolina, Paulina and Star, amazing team. Old historic country building. $7 - 2 eggs, hash, toast!! Yes!! Must visit! Rainbow Omelette is a must!!

Could it use new chairs and a deep clean? Yes. However, service was great, food was good, large portions, they had flavored coffee creamer, not just cream, which is a huge plus for me. Great for kids when you just need a place to eat with no frills. Respectable prices. They have a toy and coloring corner when you first walk in which the kids loved. Very mom and pop.

I had coffee, which was delicious and he had hot tea. In addition we ordered a strawberry waffle and split it!!! The waffle was the lightest airy waffle that 8 have ever had! It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. This waffle literally melted in your mouth like it was cotton candy! Every part of the meal was great, with one exception. When we got the bill, with a 20% tip, it was just over $54.00!!! Okay, that's $27.00 per person, for breakfast!!! Yes, I know that prices are high everywhere but come on! $27.00 per person for eggs, potatoes and such! That's a bit much I think! Although the waffle was the best that I've had, it simply isn't worth the $11.00 they charge for it! I remember Tiny's being the place to go for a very reasonably priced meal that was good! I know that I'm living in the past when it comes to price, but this seems to be a trend amongst restaurants when it comes to breakfast meals! At this cost, it's more than most other restaurants lunch costs. Although it saddens me, I won't be going back for breakfast anytime soon, or at least until they get the pricing right! And yes, I'm in the restaurant business, so I know the cost of goods!

We arrived around 7:30am, which was right before it started getting busy. The view is pretty cool. The restaurant is overlooking the runway. After checking in at the front, we were given a table within minutes. Then, our waitress came up and asked us what we wanted to drink. Eventually, we decided what to order and she came back to take our order. The food didn't take long--I'd say about 15 minutes. The food was delicious, to say the least. We both ordered a Western Omelette and shared an order of French Toast. I also took an apple pie and some other baked goods back home with me. The pie was also delicious! The only reason for my 4 stars is because of the service. Some of the employees seemed annoyed to be there and help us. While I understand that the restaurant was busy, you should still maintain composure and try to remain calm under stress. Having worked at a restaurant, I understand the feeling, but you can't let it get to you. Other than that, great little restaurant. I'd come here again.
