I took my whole family 4 adults 2 kids. We ordered a few rolls but it basically took an hour to even get out two appetizers out. The owner/supervisor, idk who she is, was more concerned about how many cups we had on the table and how it didn't match the amount of drinks we ordered. The server did not come to give us updates on the food. She came to ask us if I had mixed some of the water cups with the other drinks because the owner wanted to know about the drink "discrepancy" she noticed between what was on the ticket and what was on the table. The food is delicious, just the service could improve. Specially the owner or supervisor, I really don't know who she is, just walking around observing. Was just there for my girlfriends birthday with our daughter. Amazing food and service, however there must have been a contamination issue as we didn't even get out of the parking lot before the stomach cramps/nausea/etc that usually comes with Food Poisoning showed up. I ordered through DoorDash and the approximation time was 55 minutes including the delivery time. Then changed to 1 hour 30 minutes since the driver was waiting and waiting to get the food. When finally the food was delivered the food were cold, saggy, untaste, trashy. I understand that the yo-go plates don't help much but the food was probably sitting there for several time to be pack or I don't know. Unfortunately DoorDash won't give a refund but I hope people read this review before ordering or visiting this place and making them change the quality of the food read more

You can't see inside from outside and difficult to see if they open or not... We went to this place for Saturday lunch, only two customers were there. Interior is nice and clean, obviously they are Korean owned sushi restaurant. I had all you can eat sushi(about $28.00) and my husband had Sundobu, fried soft crab and some nigiri. It was not bad, only thing I didn't like was they use some sauces for nigiri. Real Japanese sushi use sauce for certain fish of nigiri but we use a brush to put sauce so it doesn't soak rice with the sauce. Sundobu had some sliced jalapeño but weak flavor because probably non-MSG. I don't mind if they use DASHIDA for Sundobu. We will definitely come back this place and try more individual menu. read more

I have now had two bad experiences with this place where my food was not tasting right. The first time I just called the restaurant and told them what the issues was and decided to give them another chance tonight because it's my birthday and once again the food is bad. The shumai is chewy and has hardly any shrimp in it and the whole bottom of the container is a pool of oil so they were not drained properly. I ordered a dragon roll, shrimp crunch roll and a langostino lobster roll. The eel tastes like it has been sitting in a marinade of pure soy sauce, so salty. The crunch roll has so much spicy mayo on it that it's all I taste and the langostino lobster is mushy. I called the restaurant to get my money back and I agreed to bring the food back but the owner, Ms Lee, refused to refund my order since the food was touched. How exactly am I supposed to know what is wrong if I don't try any of it?? Makes zero sense. I do not recommend this place at all. The waitress who was there looked like she felt really bad and wanted to fix it but couldn't because of the oh so nice owner. read more

I've been coming to Miso since 2012 at least , and there hasn't been a time where they disappointed me . I now live across the country and when ever I'm in Lancaster I make it a point to stop in . Doesn't matter the roll I've never been disappointed . My last visit was super confusing because I ordered through grub hub, which closed the app making me think the order had not processed when in fact it did . At the restaurant , they noticed I ended up having 2 orders one from grub hub and one from calling in . Once we all realized what had happened, the chef working the order took the time out to explain what he thought happened and to process a refund for the over paid portion : The entire staff was really nice -per usual . read more

This is a sorry excuse for a sushi place. We got here and were seated in a timely fashion. They took our order and waited ONE HOUR for food. The waitress gave us complimentary food for the wait, which was well appreciated but one hour is ridiculous to wait. They seemed to focus more on the all you can eat section than tables. When we DID get our rolls, they were extremely small. See the picture for a comparison. I'm not sure what happened but this place is going downhill fast. We used to come for the happy hour and then they changed it up and now it's literally shit. Save yourself the time and money, go to harbor sushi in Palmdale. Went here recently and would like to update my review. Sushi's amazing. Rattlesnake roll is seriously...another level amazing along with the baked lobster roll and the baked salmon. My son loves the rainbow rolls. Their eel sauce is the best too They are in need of servers and cooks I saw in the window (as are many other restaurants). If I would recommend anything it would be to change the suggested tip amount at the bottom of the receipt to 18%\20%\22% options (remember this is just recommended; not a contract). I am all for supporting our local businesses and we have supported Miso Sushi through the pandemic by eating there almost weekly. We are a family of 6 so you can imagine the size of our orders. Over the past several months, we have encountered horrible service, inability to even call and place an order for pick up, we've physically gone there and stood for almost 30 min without even being acknowledged...but today takes the cake for me. I worked 12 hours (I'm a nurse) and couldn't join my family for dinner so I attempted to order from Miso over the phone. 30 min of calling only to get a busy signal. I then went online and saw that they had an option to submit an online order. I put in my order and received the text confirming. I received another text 45 min later saying my order was ready. My fiancé and kids stopped in to pick up my food on their way home so I didn't have to get it. Unfortunately when my son went in, they told him they didn't even have my order. I sent him the screenshot saying it was ready...they said they "found it" but told my son it would be 5 min. There was food in boxes sitting on the counter...after 10-15 min, my fiancé went in to see what the issue was and was told my food wasn't ready. He said he wanted a refund and to cancel the order. 10 min later they told him my food was ready and started grabbing the boxes that had been sitting out on the counter for now at least 20-30 min (they were sitting there before they came in). At this point he had been there 30 min trying to pick up my food. He commented saying they had been sitting there and voiced concern for how long they had been sitting out. The sushi chef then got involved and tried telling him he just made it. He explained that he has been there for 30 min and those boxes had been sitting there the entire time. He asked to speak to the owner and the sushi chef claimed to be the owner. He refused to provide a refund and treated my fiancé in a very rude and disrespectful way. He left and called the Lancaster location where the actual owner was. He confirmed that the sushi chef was not the owner. We then received a very nasty call back from the sushi chef basically berating my fiancé for calling the Lancaster location and started getting rude and raising his voice at my fiancé accusing us of lying and saying the order was just received when my fiancé arrived. We explained that we ordered through the online site and received updates through Postmates. He told us that's not his problem cuz he doesn't have anything to do with Postmates. We were absolutely SHOCKED at how rude and nasty he was. It is now 840pm...I've worked 12 hours and still without dinner. I will NEVER go to Miso Sushi again and would discourage anyone from going there. We understand things happen and have given a pass multiple times in the past. But to be treated so terribly after we have supported this business through tough times was a huge slap in the face. read more

Not one thing we ordered was correct and when it was we were charged twice for the items. I only ordered one roll at our table and never got my food at all. While the food here is delicious this is my second time that they've messed up my order and the chef today gave me attitude about it , as if im expected to know that tempura is supposed to be on the inside not the outside but no one explained that to me. Highly disappointed in Miso now. My hub and I use to frequent Miso monthly (pre covid). We decided to try it out randomly. The rolls were so poorly put together and covered with an excessive amount of shit. No amount of arugula or onions can hide that disaster. I've had better quality rolls from the Alberstons sushi guy! There was a now hiring sign on the door. I sure hope they hire some decent chefs. The only chef that seemed to know what he was doing was occupied with to go orders. Sadly he yelled across the restaurant to a customer picking up a to go order, that he'd throw in some free rolls with her order. I found this rude to the customers dining in. Love the food here. Rolls are fresh and the prices are great. My only issue is the music. They play it really loud to the point that conversation at your table is difficult and they play music with explicit lyrics so you are listening to the artists dropping f-bombs while eating.
