This may be one of my new favorite sushi places! Their prices are affordable and everyone has been really nice. The only issue is sometimes we come on off hours in between their chefs getting on/off so sushi at the bar is a little slow at times. They do allow half rolls mon-thurs which is great. My wife and me were in there tonight and in 1 hour I got 2 rolls.and the owner lady didn't seem to give a damn. I think this was my last time I will visit there. I recently went back after not being there for about a year, I did a pick up order! It was ready when I arrived which was great but the sushi wasn't that good. I was so disappointed because I've loved their sushi but that B rating I saw in the window was 110% right. But I'd give my sushi about a C. This used to be my go to sushi place in Lancaster. Now days the service is absolutely terrible. My family walked in for dinner, and business was slow with plenty of seats at the bar. After walking in we stood at the register area for several minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Once finally acknowledged, we were seated at the bar. The vibe was terrible, waitress didn't speak, wasn't friendly. So we're waiting to order and not one of the sushi chefs acknowledged us either. So after about 10 minutes of waiting and not one person speaking to us we got up and left. As we were leaving the sushi chef suddenly decides to say "sorry I was trying to catch up on some things". A simple "I'll be with you in a minute" would have sufficed, but we got nothing. We will not be returning here, there are plenty of other decent sushi spots in the AV now. Sorry Miso it was nice knowing you, but your service has gone to complete sh$t. Just know, acknowledging a customer can go a long way. read more

I've been there 1 time before like 5 years ago and did not like it, so I found Harbor Sushi in Palmdale which is the BEST sushi restaurant in the AV. Today I wanted some sushi but did not want to drive all the way to palmdale so I decided to try this place again and being that I didn't like the atmosphere the last time I was there I just placed an order and picked it up thinking that it's been so long and because they are still in business maybe it had improved... WRONG!!! I honestly don't understand why they are still in business... My rolls were not garnished at all, they looked dry, the fish on the rolls looked pale not fresh at all and they were so thin that all I tasted was sticky rice, even the filling they put in the inside of the roll was so small... and to make things worse, this place is so expensive... I think I will make the drive to Harbor Sushi and enjoy my sushi the atmosphere there is AWESOME!! Sorry Miso Sushi, Never again!!! read more

Last night a few friends and I were set on getting sushi for dinner. With an hour wait at harbor and a 45 min wait at goldfish I recommended we try miso as I had had good experiences here before, last night was no difference, everything was great. I'd give it more stars if I could. We each got a few rolls and every one of them was delicious! The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. My favorite of the night was the albacore delight, so good!!! We also got a few bottles of soju, while a tad bit pricey it's delicious and worth it. The waitress (forgot her name, probably thanks to the soju) was extremely tentative and helpful always making sure we were satisfied. Overall a great dinner experience. One of our fave spots to go in town for sushi date night. They are consistently fresh and delicious. We don't usually have to wait long either for a table. Our favorite non rice roll is the pink lady. Seriously its so divinely amazing! All of the other rolls we try are tasty and fresh. Their sushi selection is on point as well. read more

I saw some pretty bad reviews on this place, but I would like to respectfully disagree. They have amazing rolls, and the staff is always so accommodating. They greet you as soon as you walk into the door and they're quick! I love the sushi chefs, they communicate with you well and don't get irritated when you customize your rolls. Definitely worth a shot! I went with a couple of friends, and we sat at the bar... $22 for all-you-can-eat. They were FAST getting our orders out to us, and the miso soup & seaweed salad were delicious. Our waitress was great, and the chefs were loud & fun. I can not believe I stepped foot in this place!! So i convince myself into doing the all you can eat. Not a big sushi eater but my brothers are. They eat atleast 4 rolls each. I ate 2 and a half. Long story short, we go to pay and they charge us the price per person and then the girl at the front counter says they have to charge us an additional $5 for leaving food on our plates!! Keep in mind from where i was sitting there were no posted signs. I left 3 pieces of my roll. My brothers hated their 4th roll so they almost left all of it. They gave us the option to take it to go so the "no to go" rule is BS. I will never visit this restaurant again. I wish i would have known i was about to get charged an extra $5 for not being able to eat at the "all you can eat" sushi bar. So BEWARE!! Eat it all or pay!!! read more
