Everybody working there is super friendly too. Now on to the main topic. We tried some of the thin crust and the Detroit style.... Both were significantly better than other pizza you can get in a walk in place around here. Perfectly crispy, amazing yummy edge and corners. But also a great thick crust dough on the Detroit style. The thin crust has those same amazing crispy edges . This place is great and we will be back.

I really wanted to like this place!!…read more Back story... I stopped in on a Friday afternoon, around 12:45. The place is not that busy. The sign at the front says to wait to be seated. One of the staff (blonde girl) walks up to th me stand, puts menus in the holder, and walks away. No greeting, no eye contact, nada! About 3 minutes later, another member of staff (male) says someone will be right with me. After a couple more minutes, I am asked if I want to sit at the bar or a table. I chose table (I wanted a pizza and the room to spread out) and off we go. This may have been my downfall... So I am sat down and the male staff member gives me a menu and says my server will be right over. She comes over from behind the bar (blonde girl from before) and is super friendly, explaining the menu and takes my drink order. She the comes back with my beer, along with a flyer with a QR code for me to sign up for their loyalty program (I will then get $10 off my first order). I figure that's a good deal and after she takes my food order (2 small "Detroiter Pizza" for $10 a pie, as it is "313" day (March 13th)), I download the app and sign up. Here is where the really frustrating part comes up. I sit a and wait over 35 minutes for my pizza to arrive. Now there was food presented to me multiple times during my wait, but it wasn't my order (cheese pizza paraded around to multiple tables). I finally am brought my to-go pizza (I had ordered 2 smalls - 1 to eat there, 1 for takeaway), but waited another 15 minutes for my actual meal. During this time, no one comes by to check on my table or ask if I need anything (beer glass has been empty for 10 minutes). The male staff member asks multiple tables around me if all was good and if they need anything, but suspiciously skips asking me. So I finally just call out to him and ask if my pizza is still coming out or not. To the actual pizza.... It was FANTASTIC (which makes me leaving this 1 star review hard). I thoroughly enjoyed the crust, the cheese, and the sauce on top and even with all the issues already laid out, I'd thought I would likely return. But... here is why I will not. When I checked my banking app earlier today, I have 2 charges from Via 313. The first charge is what I signed for via their mobile device that was brought to my table, but the second is for $18 and change and I have no idea what that is about? With this many cock-ups and shady charges, I simply cannot recommend Via 313!

Highlands Ranch, Colorado…read more This place has been here for quite some time, but this was my first visit. You walk in to the restaurant and there is a menu on the wall. You can choose salads, pasta, or calzones. They also have a display case of gelato. They say they make their food fresh with real ingredients. It is a walk up to the counter and order type of restaurant. You then seat yourself at one of the eight tables that are in the restaurant. They are quite busy with carry out. The guy who rang up our order has no personality. He never said hello. In fact, he never spoke to us at all until I said hello. He never spoke back or acknowledged my greeting. I said well I think I know what I want and ordered my pizza. After I placed my order, he looked at my husband and said "and you"? I think he needs to have some better communication and people skills to be working the front counter. The girl who was working with all of the guys tonight, smiled and was pleasant. Only complaint is that the kids are all on their phone behind the counter. We received our pizza quickly. I had the Margherita pizza and my husband had the Molto carne. The pizza did have fresh ingredients. It was piping hot. It is wood fired, and the crust was thick around the edge, which I absolutely love and thin in the middle. Although my pizza had delicious flavor, the crust itself on the bottom was a bit undercooked. I will also say that the toppings were not spread evenly as I had a portion of the pizza that did not have a tomato or mozzarella. My husband liked his pizza. Their soda cups are awful! And I mean truly miserable to drink from. They are a paper cup and as soon as you put in your fountain soda or water, they become soft and flimsy. I had to hold the cup with two hands in order for it not to spill. Absolutely ridiculous. You really need to get new cups. I have issue with them charging a service fee for using a credit card. Please let me know that you do this. I would've been more than happy to pay cash had I known. You can see it on the receipt picture I have attached. Overall, I thought the food was very good. Next time, I would bring my own drink or water bottle. I might also just go up to the counter and not say a word. And see how the young man who rang me up handle that in the future. When I go out to dinner, I want to be acknowledged and treated with respect. I would give the pizza a 4.5 star. I would give the service a 1.0 star I would give decor a 2.5 star. I would give ease and placing the order 4.5 star. I would give their cups a zero star. I give this place three stars overall. If the service had been good and I didn't have a paper cup that melted in my hand, they would have been 4+ stars.

My wife and I found Ignazio's from a Google search while on a desperate weekend hunt for cheese…read moreravioli. Despite living less than ten minutes from Ignazio's, this was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. The owner, Nancy, greeted us warmly when we entered, provided exceptional table service, and made our time at Ignazio's more than just an excellent meal but a memorable experience. First, the food. The reviews are accurate. Ignazio's has EXCELLENT pasta. My wife chose the cheese ravioli, and I ordered the bolognaise. Both exceeded our expectations. The cheese ravioli was delectate, not over-seasoned, and served in a delicious marina sauce. Ravioli tends to get rubbery when the pasta is rolled to thick, or tears or breaks down if rolled too thin. These ravioli were ion the "goldilocks zone" of thick enough to hold their body, but delicate enough to be easily severed with the side of a fork. The flavor was a well-balanced mix of cheese, herbs, and tomato acidity. Simply delicious. My bolognaise with penne pasta had the perfect mix of veggies, including fresh peas that hadn't been cooked to mush. The best thing about bolognaise is the pleasing mixture of textures it includes when done correctly. Ignazio's was flavorful, contained delicious and properly-cooked veggies, and had a perfectly-sized dollop of ricotta on top. The ricotta is a genius touch - another contrast of texture along it a temperature contrast. I ate the entire bowl full. We visited over the Spring Break weekend, which made for less-than-full restaurant, which according to the owner, Nancy, is unusual for a weekend evening. She recommended reservations on the weekend as they're typically full-up for the weekend dinner rush. Nancy spent real time at our table, answered questions, provided guidance on the menu, and genuinely made us feel seen and appreciated. Excellent food coupled with excellent service = a restaurant we will absolutely return to in the near future. I've only tried two dishes, but would already place Ignazio's as the best Italian restaurant in Lakewood. It reminds me of the small mom-and-pop Italian places I miss from Chicago that provide excellent food at reasonable prices, served with real hospitality. Ignazio's is a gem.

I've actually been here a handful of times before, but always stuck to the pizza and pasta (which are great). I honestly can't believe I overlooked the sandwiches for this long. I went with the chicken parm sandwich and it was outstanding--crispy, perfectly breaded chicken, rich marinara, and just the right amount of melted cheese on fresh bread that holds everything together without getting soggy. Easily one of the best chicken parms I've had around here. I reluctantly traded half for the sausage and peppers sandwich, and honestly... it was just as good. The sausage had great flavor and snap, the peppers were cooked perfectly, and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. It's rare you order two different sandwiches and can't decide which one you liked more, but that was the case here. One of the sneaky best deals: you can add a cup of soup for just $2. I tried the rustic sausage and potato soup and it was excellent--hearty, flavorful, and felt homemade in the best way. What stood out beyond the food is how consistent everything felt with what others say: high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and that authentic, no-frills Italian deli vibe. You can tell they care about doing simple things really well.
