I also want to add that my taste buds are continuously amazed by the variety of dark chocolates that Mirelli offers. Their plain dark chocolates pair really well with tea or coffee, which I believe is both healthier and tastier than sugar. Additionally, the dark chocolates with nuts are just superb and (here's a pro tip for you!) every mom's favorite. Mirelli isn't just a chocolate shop; Mirelli is THE one-stop-shop for all your family occasions. Whether it's a wedding, an engagement party, or a baby shower, they've got both simple designs and intricate arrangements to meet your specific needs. For instance, when my little cousin turned one, my family went to Mirelli to purchase chocolate favors for our guests. Co-owner Mireille walked us through their store and explained the process of creating a unique arrangement. When we were ready to pick out a design, she sat down with us and helped us browse through their Instagram on an iPad for ideas. Once we decided on the nautical baby blue theme, she listened to our thoughts and offered suggestions on how to make it more personal. I love how efficient and organized the process was as a whole. Mireille is incredibly professional and has a no-time-wasted attitude, which shows that she really cares about the customer's needs and isn't just trying to make money. !!!BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I purchased 96 glass boat favors on 8/24 first he had the wrong email address linked to his paypal account. That alone should have been a red flag for me. I went ahead and cancelled the payment and sent it to the revised email account. When the boats arrived 63 of the 96 boats I ordered were broken!! Jack's response " the only problem is that I can't guarantee that in the next batch that you will get from us they will all be in good shape as you want them to be. " Yeah stupid me for expecting to receive the items I ordered unbroken!! How absolutely ridiculous!! He goes on to say "I will offer you off hand few choices, either you can return the whole order, we'll have it picked up and we will give you a full refund, or we can send you the broken ones plus the ones that you are not satisfied with, in which case we will send you like 5 extra ones over what you are claiming, and then we will not be responsible after that if there is any breakage or if they are not aligned as they should be. I will ask them to pack the goods properly, however no guarantees, since I did ask them to last time and you're saying that they weren't packed as properly as they should be." I responded he IS responsible for the quality and condition of the items HE sells and to issue an immediate refund! After receiving 63 of 96 broken he actually thought shipping 5 extra would be a sufficient correction and expect me not to hold him responsible if they showed up broken!! are you kidding me!! I sent the email on 9/7/11 telling him the offer was ridiculous and to issue an immediate refund and have the items picked up it is now 9/13/11 and the items have not been picked up no a refund issued. The mental midget actually forwarded an email from his supplier to me where he states "Sent: Tuesday, September 13, 2011 12:22 PM To: CASSIANI COLLECTION Subject: Re: Invoice # 61421 Hi Danny, I have sent to you an email with regards to this customer's RMA to be sent ASAP, the customer is nagging me and I hope you can resolve this matter." He actually said I had been nagging! My response: "Keep your false politeness. Next time you forward an email READ before you do but then again I forgot who I'm talking to. You and your company have no attention to detail. AS SOON AS THIS IS PICKED UP AND A CREDIT HAS BEEN ISSUED I WILL NOT BE NAGGING YOU FURTHER! HAD THIS MATTER BEEN HANDLED IN A TIMELY MANNER I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN NAGGING YOU!" The shop is small but packs in a lot of high quality chocolate, leaning toward milk but also some dark, and a wide variety of confections that beg the question, "so what is that like?". Fortunately the owners and staff often answer by allowing you to sample. There are many fancily wrapped special occasion chocolates and some ready-made boxes and packages. I was given a box of Mirelli chocolates for graduation from grad school and being a Los Angeles native, I never imagined any chocolate that could beat See's, but I have finally found it. The chocolate has a perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Many contain a wafer inside which makes it a perfect pairing with tea or expresso. I wish I could adequately describe the flavor and beautiful packaging, but one has to taste it for themselves to understand. The worst customer service I've experienced at any business. This lady is straight up rude and immediately goes on the attack. I walked in asking nicely for advice on the amount of chocolate to purchase to fill up a box I had already bought (not from a competitor, just a pretty photo keepsake box from a craft store) and let her know that I was willing to purchase any amount recommended as I knew their chocolates taste great. She told me she was too busy (I was the only one in the shop) and can just sell me a mixed bag of chocolates. I had the box with me and was just asking for her expertise and she had already decided she had no intention of helping me as I did not intend to purchase an elaborately decorated box from her. I could accept this but when I asked for only certain colors of the wrapped chocolates she told me she didn't have time to pick any out and proceeded to fill a bag with whatever she felt like. Jack and his wife are awesome the chocolate squares he designed for my wedding went perfect with my theme. I was so surprise be the detail of the fabric and the jewel pin that was on it. The ladies were sweet enough to show me all the different sizing, designs, flavors, and colors. I had no idea there were so many options to choose from. I was there last week, I really liked the chocolates, the way it was decorated, I think everything was very beautiful. The only think that I didn't like was how the lady was treating us. I guess the main lady was in vocation for a week, and her daughter was taking care of the business. We had only two days, so I asked her if they can make something ready in two days she said it depends what we want. When we decided what we want she was very not professional and very angry told me that her "my mom is gone for a week" ( with an attitude). I told her I wish you would tell me earlier about it, so I wouldn't waste my time and yours. And she was looking at me with such an surprised face, I felt like in an idiot and she can't deal with me. I'll definable go back there cause the chocolates were great, but I think you should improve your costumer services, cause usually we are having our first expressions from it.
