    Award-Winning Mirella's Burger with fries

Had to order the award-winning burger & it did not disappoint! It was a hearty, juicy exceptional burger. Will definitely be back again! Service was great, wait staff was always available. There weren't many people when I walked in so it was quiet but the music they played was excellent!

Donna got a build your own pasta with linguini and spicy arabiata sauce and damn, it was spicy! But very good, even without a protein. The heat just kept coming. I got pesto gnocchi. It started kind of middling but just kept getting better. By the time it was gone I wanted to lick the plate. Nice place on Division, friendly staff and not too pricy.

This is my third occasion to visit this restaurant. They have a killer enclosed patio on the back. Have visit for Yelp event, private 1st birthday party and got weekend cocktails. On previous engagements I was able to try lots of different food selections and no complaints. On my last occasion, we just tried the Cheeseburger Eggrolls and some cider. The appetizer was good but hard to justify $15 for (2) eggrolls split in half. They were tasty though. Atmosphere here is decent. They have two patios (front off division) and the very spacious one off the side. Very enjoyable location with metered parking out front and some free neighborhood parking during the day.

No atmosphere here, I came here on a Saturday at 6pm, the first room was empty and playing very loud top 100 style music. In the back room was 1 other group with a dog, and you could smell the dog for sure. Although I love dogs I was surprised they allowed him (may have been a service animal without any vest). Two other groups arrived after us, and no one after that. It was quiet, and the service was fine. The menu is all over the place, flatbreads, elotes, pasta, burgers. I got the burger because it won an award (labeled on the menu) in 2020. It was good, I wanted a little more heat but it was good. When I asked for hot sauce they brought chilula. My partner got the chicken dinner, comes with Mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was good. My child got fries but they have a full kids menu as well as kids cup. Definitely kid friendly.

I've been to this location when it was a different restaurant, and I have to say Mirella's facelift to the place is A+! It looks fantastic and light on the inside now, and the back patio is just as beautiful (and warm in the winter! Such a bonus!). My bestie and I attended for restaurant week and they charged $30 TOTAL for 2 people- a steal! You share a first course, then each get your own entree and dessert. The potato casserole was top notch. I wanted 5 scoops instead of 1! It wasn't the best/most creative food ever, but well worth $15 for the amount of food! Head of house was sweet, and she held down the fort for our server while he got ready, which was impressive. They didn't rush us out, and the place actually got pretty full. Overall, a good experience! I would return for their full menu in the future for sure!

Hosted my son's first birthday party here and we could not have been happier with the experience! From start to finish, the process was super seamless thanks to Eloise and Chef Jose. They provided us with menu + drink packages and allowed up to cater them to what worked best for us. Everything from food, venue, staff, was absolutely lovely. I can't recommend the space (and team) enough. Thank you all so much for a wonderful afternoon for our family and friends! We made so many great memories here :)

Unbeatable happy hour specials if you're in the mood for bar food. Excellent service and plenty of TVs to catch the game. Not the best option for cocktails but post up at the bar, grab a couple beers, and share the $10 burger and wings with a friend. 3.65 stars.

5/5 restaurant!!!! And not just because my name is the restaurant ;) The food here is actually spectacular. They have a variety of food and an extensive menu. I highly recommend the angry chef egg rolls, Philly Benedict, and bruschetta. There's still soooo much I still want to try, specifically on the dinner menu. The service here is another 5/5 stars. They are so welcoming, hospitable, and kind. The place itself is way bigger on the inside than it seems, plus they have a back space that's large with a semi retractable roof. The walls are windows so it feels like you're outside when you're not! They also have a front patio if you actually want to sit outside. I can't wait to try this place again for a third time (and more). Highly recommend for some good food and service!

08/23/24 - I finally made it back for their all you can eat AYCE fish fry on Friday for $18. I was warmly greeted by a beautiful young lady who I later learned her name is Taylor I had previously come here for a Yelp Elite Event a few weeks ago. I heard about the AYCE fish fry on Fridays. Since I came by myself I grabbed a seat @ the bar. I ordered the fish. This came out w/3 pieces of fish w/a Mayo/Sriracha sauce that was a perfect compliment for the fish. This also came w/a dish of coleslaw w/a tangy bite that was very good & an ear of corn slathered w/butter. The food was very good but what made the meal was the conversation I had w/Taylor. She was not only gorgeous but a super host providing me w/some conversation about traveling. Thanks for a good meal & great service made much more pleasant by the conversation w/Taylot

Came here for restaurant week and it's a great deal $30 for two people total for Brunch! The options are few but it was certainly worth the money! Our waiter was busy and messed up our order twice but he made up for it! The service overall was extra kind from the host to the waiter !! The food was okay, the portions are pretty small but again a great deal! I'd like to come here for dinner for sure! Two different ambiance's going on, sports bar in the front, different vibe in the back! Lots of TVs and I saw a dog inside !

The food here is amazing! We went for dinner and the scallops were spectacular!! Of course I forgot to take a pic but they are a must try! The egg rolls were flavorful. The calamari was crispy and not over breaded. The sauce was so good and paired well with the calamari. Parking: only street parking available

Mirella's on Division and Hoyne is a great weekend brunch spot. The food is good and priced well, but more importantly they are one of the few remaining places with a decent kid's menu. This is the 2 sliders and fries, a good sized portion. The dining room is nice and brightly lit. We went at 11 am In a Sunday and it was pretty empty. Give them a chance!

We watched our waitress make multiple attempts to pick up my husband's drink from the bar, spill, set it down, pick it back up and spill more, and finally give up and run it to us. As she set down this sticky, wet, under-filled mess, I asked her exactly how much of my husband's $16 cocktail she had just spilled. She said, "Yeah, the bartender over-poured," and walked off. We then watched her do the exact same thing to every mixed drink she ran. Way, way too expensive to be delivering messy, dripping, quarter-empty cocktails. It was no wonder when we arrived that there was a line out the door. We waited around 45 minutes, and the bouncer was a really nice fellow who kept track of the numbers and people at the door. Upon entering, we were immersed in a dimly lit retro-style lounge. It was quite loud inside and packed as we walked to our seats. The server was great at taking our orders and offering suggestions. I opted for the French 75, which featured sparkling wine and mixed gin, brandies, and citrus. The drink was delicious, but STRONG. I don't know what they put in the cocktails in America, but I am always finished after one drink. Needless to say, we were all struggling to finish our own drinks. My favourite touch was the coasters, I ended up keeping all of them so that I can reuse them at my galentines event next year. The 'bisous' with the kiss on the other side is a perfect touch! I think the drinks are fairly priced for USD. I would love to return someday to try other drinks and bar bites, and also try their sister bar, Sparrow.

Imagine my shock when we didn't even make it past the bouncer because he was so rude, AS OTHER RECENT REVIEWS HAVE MENTIONED AS WELL! We had dinner nearby and walked to Bisous after, and saw there was a line of 5 or 6 people outside. We expected this as we knew Bisous is a first come, first serve bar. We were curious what the wait time would look like, so we approached the front door to ask a host or employee inside (we assumed there'd be a desk with an employee working it who could give us a wait time). We had no problem waiting, just wanted to see how long they estimated it would be! Before we could even fully open the door, the bouncer swung the door open from the other side and hit me with the door. I stumbled back a few steps and he looked at us and said, and I quote, "What do you want?". I laughed at first because I thought he was joking and putting on a tough guy act. He was not. We quickly explained we just wanted to see what the wait time was, and he said "don't you see there's a line outside?" We said yes, and explained we just wanted to know a rough estimated wait time. He just blankly stared at us while ushering us out. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in customer-service roles for a very, very long time. This encounter was not only extremely rude and unprofessional, but he also hit me hard enough with the door to send me stumbling back, and then said nothing about it and continued to address us in a tone that was nothing less than annoyed and irritated. We didn't end up going inside because that encounter left such a bad taste in our mouths. I don't believe in spending my money at establishments that don't treat their customers with the bare minimum respect they deserve! Bummed we didn't get to experience it, as I'm sure it was lovely inside and I can only hope the rest of the employees were much more kind and accommodating, or at least able to answer a simple question. Fire your "bouncer" (??) and hire someone with some basic customer service and communication skills!!
