Had an hour before Picasso museum opened so we ventured out to seek a snack or two. Mireille lured me in with their colorful meringue display. They have 14 listed flavors! They also have sandwiches, quiche, pizzas, and paninis. They've been making meringues since 1945 so I had to get one. With 14 to choose from it was hard. I would have gotten at least three flavors but with my diet restrictions I opted for one, crème brûlée. €1.90 petite €4.95 grande
The flavor tasted like alcohol extracts. Too chemically for me, not natural. The meringue crumbled into dust, taste chalky. I would probably get something else. Paris has so many patisserie and boulangeries to choose from, this one was a miss. read more
