Megan and her team are second to none!…read more We've lived is several cities and have always had walking services for our dog. When we got our new puppy, I knew we needed the extra hands while we were gone most of the day. Enter Fairytales. From the moment you meet Megan, you can tell she is deeply passionate about the care of animals. She cares about their wellbeing just as much as the owner! She's not just a service provider, she's a godsend to our family and new pup! From field trips, long walks, south block pup cups...Megan has given our new pug amazing socialization and enrichment. He is thriving as a new city family dog and we have Megan to thank for most of that, continually looking out for him, updating us with photos and videos of his fun-filled days, and her extraordinary effort to adjust him to all different types of dogs and people! Her doggy daycare service with pick up and drop off is a must for any busy family (we also have two) small humans!). Louie comes home a happy, tired pup ready to snuggle and wind down the day with us. We can't wait to see how Fairytales expands to the new location!

They are beyond reliable and have become like a second family to our dog. When Scooter was sick and we needed an emergency visit, Andrea was incredible and handled everything. They leave the best notes and pictures after each visit - which are the highlight of our day. If there was an award for best dog service in the city - they hands down deserve it. :) We could not praise District Dog Walkers more!!!!!!

I've been using…read moreDistrict Dog Walkers for almost a year, and couldn't be happier with Aaralyn and her team of professionals. She always makes time to walk my dog, even for a last minute request. She is responsible and highly attentive, and checks in with me on a daily basis if I forget to ask for a walk. My dog can be anxious and sometimes destructive when I work long hours, but since Aaralyn started walking him daily he's relaxed and content when I get home. Her services are personalized, reliable, and affordable. Also, Aaralyn shows how much she cares for the dogs she walks by providing an outstanding and unmatched level of service. When my dog became very sick one day inside his kennel, she immediately cleaned him and his kennel, made him a clean dry bed, and then texted and emailed me to let me know what was going on. For the next three days, she went to check on him every two hours while I was at work, even if it was just to sit with him and comfort him. On top of that, one of her walkers took my dog to the vet and waited with me while he got checked out, then walked him back home so that I could go back to work. This walker even bought a bottle of water to bring with him to make sure that my sick dog would have something cool to drink on the walk to the vet and back. She did not charge a penny extra for any of this - only for the times he was walked. She's fantastic!

We had always…read morebeen cat people and knew very little about how to help our newest addition adjust to her new life with a new family in a new city. Our vet suggested a regular exercise routine and our neighbor--a big time dog lover--referred us to Jordan and Brighter Days. We are so happy with these guys! Our dog just loves Jordan. Daily walks have really helped her calm down. And Jordan is so reliable! We had to be out of state last year for a month. While we were away our dog got into some chocolate that the house sitter had left out. Jordan discovered the problem and contacted us right away. Any time she notices anything off, we hear from her immediately. She's also terrific about working with us when there are changes in our schedule and she's very helpful with our dog care questions. Could not be more pleased.

It was immediately apparent that they all have significant experience with dogs and know how to make them feel comfortable. I even noticed an improvement in my dogs' leash walking skills after a few months. In addition to their fantastic work with my pups, they are just genuinely good people who are flexible and communicative. 10/10 would recommend!

my dog absolutely LOVES coming to District Dogs. he has severe separation anxiety, so whenever I…read moredropped him off at other dog day camps, I had to pretend that I was going inside with him so that he would go in. At District Dogs, he doesn't even turn back to look at me- he just runs right in, which reassures me in knowing he's in good hands. The incredible staff, who actually take the opportunity to know your dogs, alone are worthy of 5 stars. The reasonable prices and webcams simply seal the deal. Let's not even get started about the adorable report cards I get every night with his picture, his demeanor and his friends of the day. One day on the webcam I noticed that he was distressed, so I called them up and they took him for a walk, which helped him a lot for the rest of the day. I cannot recommend District Dogs enough. I am so glad I found them!

I picked up my dog from structured daycare at Parview location. The "manager" gave me my dog and…read moresaid nothing. I walked out and realized my dog was covered from head to toe in urine and excrement. I walked back in and asked if there was a problem and she was like oh yeah yeah, she messed her crate twice today but we wiped her off. I should have never been handed back my dog in this type of condition AND without any explanation. And how long was she in this state with no attention to her health and wellbeing? And apparently they accept no responsibility: "Unfortunately we do not have a grooming at this facility and really no way of cleaning her up other than just water. The dogs are crated throughout the day when we are rotating the classes of the different groups of pups. When we have a full house it is almost impossible to keep cleaning crates and transferring her to another." - Megan Clipfel-Johnson, Structured Daycare Manager This all sounds like a District Dogs problem, not my problem. With them knowingly operating one location in a flood zone that ultimately killed puppies during a flash flood last year to an employee at another location hitting a puppy that resulted in its death, you would think they would have a heightened level of care, but apparently not. Be cautious of using the Parkview location if you care about your pup's health and wellbeing.
