My skin needs based on what I told her as well as her expertise. For example, I told her that I have combination skin with a troublesome T-zone and briefly described to her what my skin concerns were and what my daily skincare routine was like. Based on this information, she was able to diagnose me or at least recommend two masks that I found really helpful in helping me to achieve the holiday glow I was going for. She recommended a Goji berry mask for the hydration and anti-aging properties and then a golden honey mask for the T-zone. As a beauty influencer, I find it refreshing when expertise meets the customer experience. We started the facial with a massage, and it really helped me with the holiday stress and knots that I had especially in the upper shoulders. She also did an extraction for me, which isn't really usually what I do, but I know that my fiancé and others love to watch those ASMR medical videos where they pop, pimples and extract, blackheads and whiteheads, so that's probably a really satisfying process to watch. I usually take my hygiene very seriously as well as my skin care routine so it was so surprising to see how much gunk she could extract and I was in awe. The process of getting a beauty treatment involves a lot of talking and venting and I really do feel like I unintentionally used this session as a much needed therapy session, but I also developed a lifelong friendship with both Marilyn and Melissa who introduced me to the business. This holiday season I will be going up to New Hampshire to spend Christmas with my future in-laws so I was really aiming to impress this year and Marilyn really helped me achieve a look that enhances my own natural beauty and makes me feel radiant and sparkly like a snowflake. I honestly couldn't recommend her more and I'm deeply considering using this business for my own wedding. That's how much I believe in her and the quality of care I received. P.S. The only minor critique that I have which is easily fixed is that during the winter, especially due to the shed it is a little bit cold in there so preferably a larger or industrial size space heater would work, but she was such a sweetheart and brought hot water from the house and still made it a really comfortable and an enjoyable experience despite the elements so just for consideration, I give that a 10 out of 10.

The manager said that what I was asking for was very basic and simple and that way it wouldn't be a problem. Halfway through I was suffering in a lot of pain. I don't know exactly what they were doing to me, but when I went to the bathroom (which was broken) I was horrified at the image, staring back at me. I looked like a cheap prostitute. The eyelashes were so full and thick and nothing like the natural look I had showed them. I immediately went to the manager, and the owner was with her, and he tried to convince me that I looked great and better than the photo that I had shown him. He never apologized, and they made no attempt to reconcile the situation. When the job was finished, I insisted that I should not be paying for this because it was nothing like what I asked for and I had to really fight hard for that. The male owner was so intensely rude to me that I could not pay for this! I insisted that I should not have to pay to look like this, and he kept trying to convince me about how how much time and effort the worker put into me and that she deserved to be compensated. It was quite an argument, and I felt terrible about myself when I left. This business was completely unprofessional. I was treated so horribly. Not only was the service ugly, but the business aesthetic is akin to your local DMV. I was also forced to listen to an hour and a half news broadcast from President Trump at full-volume. Not exactly the relaxing service environment. Usually when you're getting your brows or lashes or hair done, you're in a beautiful location, listening to calm, peaceful music.
