He only gives you skinny unfinished eyebrows during the first appointment, so yes, I was looking forward to the touch-up appointment and his finishing my eyebrows, that I paid for. He says that he was "ill" - why then didn't he call or text to cancel the appointment? He says that he offered to still finish them if I came back - I'm not driving three hours again for a business owner who doesn't show up to his appointments! I even agreed to come back against my better judgement since he had offered an add-on service as an apology, and he refused to say what the add-ons are unless I physically came in again! He refused to tell me over the phone beforehand. And he refuses to refund me so that I can at LEAST get the job finished at another place. What the hell...? Why run a business like this? Absolutely unacceptable behavior, do not listen to him, he treats his customers like trash. I'm all set with this nonsense and cannot get the time back that I have wasted in trying to get a refund from someone who did not show up to the appointment, and who is unfortunately too greedy to refund my money. If the service isn't done, the customer is entitled to a REFUND. It's that simple. EXTREMELY disappointed. I just want a refund... If he truly is "sorry", why doesn't he just reimburse me? I wanted to leave a good review, the initial session was great and the brows looked great, but I can't since he no-showed and has refused to refund my money.

I went to MBeauty Studio for my first-ever full set of lashes. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful--clean, calming, and very aesthetically pleasing. That's the main reason I'm giving two stars instead of one. I booked a next-day morning appointment with the only tech available at the time. As a first-timer, I was a little confused and surprised that no consultation was offered before starting. I shared clear reference photos of what I wanted--light, fluffy, wispy lashes with that spiky, anime-inspired texture. Unfortunately, what I received was a short, curled, clustered lash line that didn't resemble the look I had requested. While I didn't speak up in the moment due to anxiety, part of me felt there wasn't much point if the tech wasn't capable of delivering the style and there was no one else available to fix it. My eyes were very sore afterward, and the entire experience felt uncomfortable. For the high price, it just didn't feel worth it. I also believe there's a responsibility on the part of ownership and management in any beauty studio to ensure that all techs are trained to a consistent level of talent and artistry--especially when offering premium services. That consistency is key to a positive client experience, and sadly, it was missing in my case. I had been considering them for nano brows, but after this, I'll likely look elsewhere.
