Not too pleasant when you're sitting there for nails, and wearing fairly warm shoes. Two - the "quick dry" spray doesn't dry. Not to put your coat on isn't an option in the winter in New England. Having a place to dry your nails needs to be in place or atleast communicating to your client just sit here for x more minutes then we can check them. And lastly a smooth looking nail is expected when you pay for nails. I do my nails all the time at home the only different is that smooth finish you hope to achieve by a nail technician. The simple nail art did come out beautiful. Honestly, the salon itself is a no for me altogether with a less than average experience. I don't recommend it. I can be more specific of other issues but I honestly don't like leaving these kinds of reviews. I am not a stranger to waxing as I have done it for at least a decade, but she made sure no hair was left behind, using hard wax and then strips to ensure my happiness. I was thoroughly impressed. I think they all charge a bit higher than other local salons. The place itself was super clean and I was in and out in no time. The salon is more like a small room with just one person working and she can accommodate only one customer at a time. When it comes to the service and the overall waxing experience, I found it pretty average, and would say I have got better services for much cheaper price.

I was in CT for a bit so decided to make an appointment while I was around. I got a full head of highlights. My hairdresser was quiet but nice. I found it odd I wasn't asked how light I wanted to go, especially when the instructor came over and asked her if I wanted dimensions or not. I was waiting to see what her answer was cause she didn't ask me! I answered myself. Anyways, the coloring came out very well. I like it, I get lots of compliments. I have never encountered anyone before who is so aggressive with hair. I have thick hair, it tangles but nothing crazy. My hair wasn't brushed before the bleach. The teasing of my hair was a bit rough but when it came time to washing the bleach out of my hair and brushing it I have never been on so much pain. I had unintentional tears coming out of my eyes, and was gripping my chair. My hair was being ripped from my head. The blow drying with the brush was also very painful, almost walked out with my wet hair. Never have I ever experienced anyone this aggressive with my hair. My scalp was sore for 2 days after. Will be cautious to return.

Front desk is nice and communicates like normal people, it's clean and smells nice, you don't wait forever for people to get ready. I can honestly say that Tyasia is the truth, you could fall asleep and wake up 7 minutes (!) later completely done (it is really that gentle) and it lasts. If you have coarse hair it you will not be disappointed, she knows what she is doing and is very thorough. My waxer was phenomenal, made me feel so comfortable and kept me laughing the entire time! She truly is great, which is why I won't include her name. However, right when leaving I already noticed my legs felt stubbly, and now that I'm home I've noticed just how stubble covered they are, with strips of hair still present. My Brazilian feels more smooth overall, but there are multiple strips of hair left as well. Very disappointed as I definitely will have to shave again before this weekend.
