But Dee was extremely polite and efficient. The wax was quick I felt like while she was quick I still had the chance to relax. I know right relax during a waxing, but it's true. I've been going here for years and I highly recommend it to everyone! Dharmi is a sweetheart and excellent at what she does-- she has become a true friend over the years. (Sangita is also great, but these days I think she stays at their Milford location.) I have repeatedly gotten threading, facials, waxing, and henna. Dharmi is so thorough and always gives her best effort to keep clients coming back. She also does amazing freehand henna designs that always get me so many compliments. Their old location on Meriden Road was nice, but the new location on Woodtick Road is beautiful and has even better parking with a big lot right next to the place. I've been coming here for awhile for threading (the shape they're able to get out of my bushy brows never ceases to amaze me), and I just went for a Brazilian as well. It's definitely not your typical "spa experience," so if you're looking for that sort of deal, this isn't for you. However, if you're like me and have been waxing religiously to the point where it's become just another part of your routine, GO HERE. No bells and whistles, but you're in and out in 15 minutes with minimal pain and excellent results. It's so fast, you don't even have time to psych yourself out! I highly recommend them. I have been going there for years for the Brazilian Wax. She does a quick but good job! Most other places take an hour, but not there. Really, who wants to stay in that embarrassing situation that long? Not me, she is very thorough but quick. Had it done at other place and when left still had hair, but never here! She makes you feel warm and welcoming. No appointment necessary, which for me works well. She uses a new stick every time she gets more wax. Very clean and nice location. Yes it does hurt me when its getting done, but as soon as were done and I get dressed, no more pain. Just make sure to stay on top of it! As the longer the hair, the more it hurts! read more

I came here for my first brazilian after reading reviews about multiple places in the Waterbury area. I also opted to get my eyebrows threaded while I was there too. I am super picky about my eyebrow shape, they can't be too thin nor thick and they looked great! Better than ever actually. As far as the brazilian it was awesome, not nearly as awkward as I have always imagined. She was quick, very clean, friendly, and consistent. While yes, it hurts, the final results are totally worth it. I will most definitely be a returning customer as Sangita's is clean, super affordable, and the results are amazing! read more

If I could give more stars I would! I just recently started coming here on a recommendation and I'm so glad to say this is one of the best places ever! The ladies are all so nice and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The place itself is very clean. I get my eyebrows threaded and just recently started getting a Chocolate Brazilian wax. I love how they take their time but also you're in an out with minutes on both, they follow your natural eyebrow shape, and give you the best tips on aftercare. Not once did I have an issue. I have been coming to this salon for the last 7 or so years. They do a great job, are affordable and very professional. They are quick and attentive. I usually get my eyebrows done and Brazilian wax. My eyebrows come out looking great every time. They use a chocolate wax with meslin strips and does not hurt as much as other waxes.. Don't get me wrong - Brazilian was hurts but not as much as other places and they do the job FAST! Which is great. Overall I love coming here. It is clean and they do a great job. I had a wonderful experience at Sangita's today! The women working there are very friendly and kind. I went today for my first bikini wax, something I was very nervous for. The women who took care of me was very sweet and sensitive when it came to that type of waxing and walked me threw it! She also also threaded my eyebrows just because I've never had that done before! This place is great! I've been coming here every 3 weeks for a while now to get a Brazilian wax.The first time I came I was sold. The wax station is super clean! The bed papers changed per customer and the wooden sticks that are dipped in the wax I thrown away after each dip. The process itself involves minimal pain and it isdefinitely worth the money. Don't look anywhere else to get a Brazilian done. I have been to many salons and this is by far the fastest. Some places will spend up to an hour, she does it in 10-15 minutes! I was so pleasantly surprised to see the speed and thoroughness done. And it's cheaper than anywhere I have been before. Darme made me feel comfortable. I have been going here for wax for awhile and i fully reccomend it and have friends who go there too now. Biggest concern is cleanliness and that is very important with brazilian waxes. The employees were very friendly and very comforting to someone new to this type of waxing. Afterwards I had my eyebrows done (threading) with tinting. I loved it!! The only negative is that you can't pay for the tip with my card. I didn't come prepared and was embarrassed. read more

Love the new Woodtick location. It has a lot parking, it's clean, and she's just so nice. Her prices are very reasonable as well. Try the threading and tinting brow combo if you want a full brow look. The way she waxes is extremely fast which is perfect ( literally like 8 minutes).
