I needed a rush job to create a fairly large program for my father's wake. I contacted Kopy King, late on Monday, needing 200 copies of a glossy, color, 36 page booklet printed before I fly out Wednesday morning. But I only had a sample of the file. The final copy would come on Tuesday morning. Johnathan called me back very quickly. He asked if he could get the sample. Within 30 mins, he has created the booklet and sent me a picture of the sample. He then assured me, he could get the job done on Wednesday before my flight. I brought in an original Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper with the headlines of the Eagles winning the Super Bowl. I did not want to frame the newspaper itself because it is actually a good read printed on the back of the cover page. So, I decided to have it copied. I was very skeptical about how this was going to turn out. I took it to Kopy King and Jonathan helped me out and assured me that the reproduction was going to be good or even better. But just scaled down about 10%. Ok. I can live with that. I gave the go ahead and it took about 2 hours for them to do what they had to do. I was floored as to how good (great) the copy came out. They did justice to the Eagles. I almost cried when I saw how beautiful they preserved and sharpen the hue from the newspaper. They took pride in what they do and it shows. I started doing work with them back in 2015 after graduating from college with my graphic design degree, and shortly thereafter starting my own business designing and reselling printed materials to my clients. I've produced photo prints, color copies, folded brochures, booklets, stamps, and even utilized their mailing services on occasion. As a designer, following instructions accurately, maintaining color consistency, quality reproduction of my designs, and a swift turn around are my top priorities. Kopy King has never let me down on any of my priorities, or they've made it right immediately with no money down. Great prints 100% of the time, and you'll never have to worry about having a bad experience, because it will be handled professionally if there is any problem along the way. My struggle with them has always been, quality costs money. Higher costs can be a bit trickier to work with when you're on a tight budget. Kopy King is certainly not the cheapest place to get your prints done, though they've always been willing to work out alternative solutions to save on costs. All this being said, I've never had to "reprint" anything I've received from their service. My clients have (after being assured of quality) relented and accepted the higher price for a superior product, with resounding approval. My only other gripe for Kopy King has been the ordering process. Most things are handled via email, which can severely limit file size and therefore affect quality. This also occasionally feels like your order hasn't been received, though a quick phone call is all it takes to ease your mind. If you don't mind dropping by the shop to place your order, you'll receive some of the most incredible customer service I've ever seen from a print shop. The BEST service I have experienced in a long time! I went into Kopy King after Yelping copy places in Simi Valley. After reading nothing but excellent reviews, I decided to take my project there to have printed. I needed one-sided color prints and I had a .jpg file in my email. The girl there had me email the file to her and print it out, but it printed with weird shadows and she explained to me that sometimes that happens with the file type I had. I told her that I had another file type saved at home and would send it to her and pick up my prints the next day if they came out good. I got so busy that evening, I forgot to email her the new file and the next morning, I had an email from her, following up on my project. Since they were so knowledgable and friendly there, I really wanted to have them do the work. (I live in Thousand Oaks and there's a FedEx Kinkos right down the street.) I emailed her my new file and she called me on Saturday morning to tell me that the print came out just fine. They are open until 1pm on Saturdays, so I drove out to pick up my prints and they came out perfectly! read more

I discovered this hidden gem, which is somewhat tucked away inside a parking lot with two outer Mexican restaurants taking prominence. They are a small (but mighty) copy, print and mail service establishment, including a nice variety of stamp options. Several times, I have also used their extremely convenient mail drop-off slot (when missing my post-man) and sent rush packages via overnight delivery. For the first-time, I used their copy/print service for a rush two-sided, all color, memorial program that included a double-sided insert. I was quite impressed with the turn-around, quality results and reasonable price. I spoke with Heather, who was very nice, asking me to just email her what needed to be printed and, before I knew it, she already had a proof ready for my review. I have been using these guys for all of my business needs (and personal) for over 15 years now. Many times I give them jobs after lunch to have them completed the same day before they close. They also correct my amateur set up / sizing on many of my projects and have saved my ass many times. I send many of my own customers from out of town there if they need postal services or a notary.
