I can't say my job was particularly complicated, nor did it require any prep work on Minuteman's part, but still: I had an extremely quick turnaround rush poster job I needed to be printed and everyone came through for me and then some! As a graphic designer I'd already gotten everything laid out for them on a USB drive (and called in advance) but they basically dropped whatever else was going on in order to get it done within the hour. Everyone there was both friendly and polite for every step of the way. While I was there they even offered some of their own seating*, which I declined, but was a friendly gesture. The print quality of the poster was excellent, with near perfect color accuracy, and lastly they didn't charge a rush fee (which I was fully prepared to accept). *The aspect would be one area for obvious improvement at this location was the interior space: It feels pretty barebones in terms of comfort and presentation, and I was surprised that they haven't leveraged their printing capabilities to bring in a little color into the space. A few poster examples framed on the walls, an interesting banner perhaps, along with a simple but comfortable bench in the front would give a more "established" first impression. I usually don't like to do this but I just had to be heard after the rotten treatment I received when I went into Minuteman Press this past week. When I walked into the store no one acknowledged my presence for at least 10 minutes. I practically had to wave my hands around before the foreign gentleman (didn't get his name) impatiently and angrily asked if he could help me with something. It was clear he was upset with me for some reason so I calmly explained that I wanted a few color copies on card stock paper. He told me it would be a few minutes as he was in the middle of something (even though seconds ago he was checking out Facebook from his computer) I explained I didn't mind waiting for a few minutes and quietly took a seat... Finally after nearly 20 minutes of waiting he aggressively approached me at the counter once more asking me if he could help me with something... Did he honestly forget who I was? Or was he just hoping I would get up and leave the store? Once again I calmly explained that all I needed was a few color copies on card stock paper. After shooting me an angry look he aggressively took the photograph that I needed copied out of my hands and slammed it onto the xerox machine. All the while I heard him saying profanities under his breath (at this point I thought that maybe I should just forget the copies and leave but he had my photograph and I didn't want to leave without it). After another 15 minutes the foreign gentleman sauntered over and carelessly threw my color copies and photograph on the counter... I don't know what I did to upset this guy but he was absolutely infuriated with me. He made me feel extremely unwelcome but I didn't complain. I paid the gentleman and left the store. But before I drove off in my car I decided to wait a few minutes to see if this guy was really "busy" or if he was just lying to me. Sure enough within 30 seconds of me leaving the store - he was back on Facebook! So disappointing! I've been using Minuteman for about 2-4 years now and have usually been treated wonderfully. However the last few visits to Minuteman have been less than stellar/terrible. I never caught the name of the young gentleman with the dark-rimmed glasses who always helped me. They need to get him out of the office and back on the front counter - that kid knew how to make a customer feel welcome and important. Until then I'll be going to Staples (just down the road in Beverly) and will encourage my friends and colleagues to do the same. read more

I would not recommend this business to anyone planning to use them for a one time occasion. They were supposed to print the addresses on my wedding invitation envelopes and while they were friendly and provided a reasonable quote....the only communication was when I reached out to follow up (they didn't respond to emails..I either had to call or stop in). I was told it was a quick and easy job but when i called to check on the status of my order it was clear they were completely swamped with work and could not follow through with my order in time. It was made clear that my wedding invitations were not priority and this caused a lot of stress. My fiancé and I brought our business elsewhere and the job was completed in less than 24 hours. I am not one to write negative reviews but am putting this out there so people in my situation don't face the same unfortunate stress. read more

I have to revise my review of Minuteman Beverly. Soon after posting my review the owner, contacted me via Yelp mssg and offered to personally be in charge of my next order! I don't often need printing and copying services, but the next time I do, I'll give Minuteman another chance. Kudos to them for being responsive. read more

Ive been here a couple times to print large amounts of copies on short notice. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick! Much quicker than going to make copies at UPS. Nice local shop that has a lot of copy + print services. read more
