I love Pam sooo much! I have been going to her for a long time. She does a thorough cleaning and always gives me suggestions on ways to improve my dental health. My appointments are always on time and I always leave happy with my service. The receptionist knows me by name which is a nice touch! Dr Forrest is wonderful as well. The office was redone recently. The chairs have light back massagers in them and there is a tv to watch while you get your cleaning. I have never had an Insurance issue and have switched insurance companies a couple of times. They function as a corporate chain while hiding behind a local doctor's name, which is exactly why they prioritize quotas and corporate stall tactics over patient care and parental consent. I am sharing our family's experience to warn other parents before they trust this office with their children. When we initially went to Robinson Orthodontics for a consultation, we met exclusively with Dr. Robinson. We were never informed that other providers would be swapped in, so it was an absolute shock when a different orthodontist suddenly took over my minor daughter's care. That substitute provider was incredibly rude, aggressive, and began making permanent changes to my daughter's teeth--even excessively filing them down--without consulting me or discussing it with us first. It was a horrible experience. At that time, I spoke with the office manager and made it clear we wanted to transfer out. To keep our business, the manager assured me 100% that moving forward, my daughter would strictly and exclusively see Dr. Robinson, and a formal directive was placed in her chart. Despite this explicit agreement, the office intentionally ignored the directive during a critical appointment, switching her provider yet again without notifying me or obtaining my consent. This same unauthorized provider performed clinical adjustments that resulted in immediate hardware failure. When confronted, management admitted in writing that my daughter's chart directive was explicitly bypassed by staff. Additionally, this practice has collected $5,801.00--97% of our comprehensive, multi-year contract value--yet they left her treatment completely unfinished and botched. Now that we are transferring to a competent practice to correct and complete her care, they are refusing to issue a fair refund to cover the $1,750.00 transfer fee, attempting to force us to sign a predatory liability waiver instead. Disregarding parental consent, permanently altering a child's teeth without permission, and exploiting families financially is unacceptable. A formal complaint has been filed with the North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners. Take your children elsewhere.

Dr. Lybrand kept us well informed from the consult appointment all the way through completion of the surgery and post-operative care. She is very bright, energetic and has an excellent chair side manner. I felt like we put our "little man "in the best of hands. The procedure went smoothly and quickly. Dr. Walk did a great job with the sedation for the procedure. Any and all questions we had about how the procedure went were answered afterwards. You can tell she loves what she does and she's very good at it! The offices here are modern, well-appointed and comfortable; they don't feel like a typical doctor's office at all! The staffs at both offices are not only informative and helpful, but also genuinely friendly. Dr. Lybrand is an impressive oral surgeon and I highly recommend her!!! She works at both the Mint Hill and Monroe offices - that's why I've posted this on both listings!

(I went to a dentist in California for the same problem on the opposite side of my mouth and left, after six hours, with a bill of nearly $2,000) Dr. Brooks examined me, suggested an "at home" treatment of moist heat and pain reliever for a few days . . . long story short, he was right. The entire bill was my co-pay only, no more toothache. Saw him again two weeks later for a check up and cleaning and that visit was just as smooth and painless! FABULOUS dentist!
