Dr. Godwin was thorough and caring during my new patient exam and the X-Ray tech was gentle and patient with me. After my first visit I had a detailed treatment plan and got lucky and was able to schedule my fillings and cleaning for the following day. Kandiss was my hygienist and was caring and thorough. The assistant to Dr. Godwin ensured that the numbing was complete before I received any shots and for the first time I didn't even feel them. The work Dr. Godwin performed for my filings is amazing. They are perfectly smooth and unnoticeable. Overall I had an excellent experience and highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a caring and efficient office. This was by far the best experience I've had with any dentist since moving to the Carolina's 8 years ago.

The dentist I saw was incredibly kind and thorough. She conducted a comprehensive checkup to ensure there were no signs of infection or inflammation, and even ordered a CT scan of my teeth to make sure nothing was missed. After discussing the numbness and its progression, she gently suggested that it might be Bell's Palsy. However, to rule out the very slight chance of a stroke, she advised me to have someone take me to the emergency room immediately. The staff were all extremely kind and professional, and they asked only that I call and update them on my condition after my ER visit. I felt genuinely cared for, and I believe that level of care is the best any industry can offer its customers. Oh and it is Bell's Palsy. I should be right as rain in a few weeks to a few months.

A new dentist (I believe this was her first job after school) did the procedure. I ended up with my mouth being numb for more than 24 hours and 2 days later had intense pain and facial swelling. The practice admitted the fill in was in too deep but insisted I needed a root canal after failed antibiotic and steroid treatment. I asked to speak to the provider who owned the practice-Dr. Jones and was completely dismissed. There was no ownership to the damage that was done. No one offered to redo the fill in that was done incorrectly. I had a consult with an endodontist who confirmed I did not need a root canal and the error was in the fill in. All I wanted to do was speak to the provider who owned the practice-Dr. Jones, express my concerns and discuss a plan to fix my issue. I was completely dismissed and the provider would not speak with me. As a healthcare worker with over 25 years of experience, this was not customer service. This was not ownership to a wrong. This was rude and insulting. To date, I am still dealing with this issue and trying to get this resolved. I am now being told that I have completely maxed out my insurance in June and would now have to pay out of pocket. This indicates that Trinity billed incorrectly and took the entire annual plan benefit!!! Honestly this has been exhausting, unfair and completely unnecessary.

The restroom was clean! Dental Assistant & Dentist: The dental assistant was very kind and personable, though I wasn't my usual chatty self since it was early and I was on a tight schedule. After X-rays, the dentist came in, introduced herself, and asked thorough preliminary questions. I especially appreciated her sensitivity in making sure my chipped tooth wasn't the result of any unsafe circumstance. Before I knew it, she reclined the chair and began working. My heart was racing, my palms were sweaty, and I was moments away from calling for a timeout-but suddenly, she was done. Quick, efficient, and practically magical. Each time I called, I was told that the records would be sent to me before 5:00 PM that same day. Despite these repeated assurances, I did not receive them in a timely manner. After calling again and demanding my actual records, I was then informed that my insurance did not cover the full cost of my visit. I would like to point out that during my visit, the only services performed were photographs and X-rays. No cleaning or fillings were done. In fact, the technician specifically told me that I would be receiving a cleaning, but that never happened. This entire experience has left me feeling that patient care is not a priority at your office. Instead, it appears that the focus is more on billing and maximizing insurance charges than on providing proper service and communication to patients.
