The best exam and dental consultation in a very long time. Office experience was superb. Warmly greeted when we arrived with several calls before our appointment to confirm medical coverage and other info. Also text reminders that were timely and appreciated. The University location was easy to find as was parking! Love my hygienist who asked probative questions that were not invasive and so friendly. As a new patient: bring it on!! Dr. Anderson was lovely and very funny. Made to feel comfortable without bring pushy. And has 30 years in the industry! Took x-rays and reviewed the findings with me to discuss treatment plan. Going back in 2 weeks to my new dental home focused on patient wellbeing and supreme care. Outer waiting area is spacious with a tv and a snack bar with coffee and water! Financial business manager was sweet as pie and that part of the visit was very good as they have multiple payment options available. If in the market for a dentist, give them a call. You won't regret it and your teeth will thank you read more

After staying with my dentist a year after they dropped my insurance, I decided to switch dentists. Finding someone in my network that I wanted to see wasn't as easy as it may seem. I'm so glad I stumbled upon Dasling Dentistry. I'm glad I didn't left negative yelp reviews deter me from giving them a chance. The office is nice and the front desk staff is professional and knowledgeable. They helped me get everything set up for my new patient appointment. The new patient visit is so THOROUGH! The hygienist Ms.Keisha was amazing! She not only cleaned and flossed my teeth better than anywhere else but she taught me new techniques. Everyone was friendly and played a movie to keep my toddler entertained in the lobby. read more

Dr. Swain and Dr. Anderson are by far the best I've found in dentistry in over 20 years. From the initial consult, exam and cleanings six months ago to the follow up cleaning and recommendations have been done with great care, compassion, wisdom, and expertise. Amidst my visit coinciding with a small health crisis with a hospital (my being new to NC), I was met by the most warm, gracious, and skilled hygenists (Vanessa and Kayla) for my first three visits six months ago; yesterday I met Lindsay (hygenist) and today talked with Melony who highlights being a multi-cultural office. I love supporting black and brown owned businesses. I hope DASling will always retain its charm and hospitality, especially as a black womanist owned and managed place for healthy dental care. Their greatest trait is having ethical owners who are deeply invested in community wellness commitmens as well as with creditable associations, both professionally and personally. Keep up the good work and stay true to your identity DAS. read more

Came to this dentist as a referral from a colleague (because I moved and my regular dentist was located in another city and this one was black owned). I regret that I came to this dentist. I had a great smile prior to coming here now my smile is absolutely horrible. I came in for a filling and left with a missing tooth!! Instead of completing the work discussed in the consultation the dentist took it upon herself to perform additional work WITHOUT ADVISEMENT AND APPROVAL from me beforehand. This office also files false claims of work that isn't rendered. Botched work!! STAY AWAY!! read more

I have had two visits to this office now. The first visit was for a new patient examination, and the other was for a teeth cleaning. The new patient examination by Dr. Swain and her staff was very thorough. They took time to explain every step of the process and what it meant for my dental health. I felt welcomed and was treated like a valued patient. The story is the same for my visit to get my teeth cleaned. I was shocked when Dr. Swain actually did the cleaning. I went to my previous dentist regularly for nearly 13 years, and she never cleaned my teeth herself. I highly recommend this dentistry. read more

Very pleasant office environment. Everyone works well together. My doctor explains what needs to be done and cost options. A plan is done & you decide what you can afford. Excellent atmosphere. read more

SAVE YOURSELF. Discomfort and untrustworthy work is what this office is. After going back and forth with staff on a clinical issue that caused me more harm than good I was able to get a refund. Sidenote Dr. Swain is not a member of the NC North Carolina Dental Society so don't even try to file a mediation they can't help. Dasling does not educate their patients on their choices but instead will claim they know best and take unnecessary actions. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Looking for a new dental office, I recalled seeing advertisements for Dasling Dentistry and knew the two dentists were women. It has years since I have had a dental practice to call home. I called them on Wednesday and they happened to have an opening for Thursday morning as someone recently canceled. I showed up and was taken in at my time of service. After the x-rays, Sherry examined my teeth reporting back to me as she went along. She then cleaned them without causing me pain. Next, Dr. Anderson came in and shared her findings from the film. She knew her stuff and I was pleased that she was well informed and could communicate thoroughly. My first visit was a success and I plan to return for their assistance with maintaining my Dasling smile. I have an appointment to fix a couple old fillings. If I don't post an update, all is well! read more

Dr. Anderson and Swain are the best, l have been going here for years and they are very gentle. Christy is a good hygienist.

I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. I had a crown replaced and it took them 2 hours to make the mole. 2 hours of discomfort was so unnecessary! After waiting for a couple of weeks for the. new crown to arrive it didn't fit! They had to make another mole and send it back again! last after 1 year the crown popped off and it had a hole in the middle. So I gave up and went to another dentist and they replaced it spending another 875 bucks! please do not trust these people. I was told the material for the crown was not good. I'm not happy at all! read more

I went here a while ago. Initial visit was for a cleaning and that was fine. Clean and great environment. After that, my permanent retainer came out from my bottom teeth. I called this office the next day to see if she could cement it back in. Seems simple so wasn't sure if a dentist could do it real quick or if an orthodontist had to do it. She said she could do it. She cemented it back in. It came back out a few days later. I called and she said that it won't stay in, that I now need Invisilign and that she could do that as well due to them already shifting. I asked why she never told me to go to an orthodontist office to begin with. Dentist gave vague answer. Office assistant said in so many words "to get the money". Never again. I feel like that was borderline unethical. My only regret is waiting so long to post my review read more

Its rare to go to the dentist and nothing is uncomfortable, especially as a 1st time patient. Upon entering the office, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. When the dental assistant, Kala, came to get me she was also kind, pleasant and welcoming. She explained in detail what to expect as far as procedure and time. She made me feel comfortable and safe in this COVID climate. She took my x-rays and explained in detail what she was doing and why she was doing it. Once Dr Swain came in, she further explained what was found and the course of action to correct my oral issues. I was very impressed with her interpersonal skills. She expressed empathy which made me feel confident in her abilties as she spoke clearly and in laymen's terms. Her passion for providing good oral care came through with confidence and conviction. When I met with Pam in the financial department, she too was very nice and friendly! The energy and ambience of the office certainly shines! I highly reccomend Dasling Dentistry for your oral healthcare! read more

First 3 visits were very good. However, my wife went in for her 6 month cleaning and was told she owed over $400 for a mouth guard over a year ago. We received no bill or statement for the charge. When she met with the business manager, the manager said "after looking at it, you owe $200." Why did the amount due change to less than half? A few more questions and the amount due was just over $100, again with no explanation. I went in for my 6 month, and the receptionist mentioned the about due. A few minutes later I was told they were having problems with the compressor that powers their machines. I waited 20 minutes and 4 more people came in and one left - I presume her service was completed. Asked the receptionist how much longer and she said they are still working on the compressor. Odd - still seeing other people but the compressor won't work for me?? Seems not to be legit. Time to find a better provider read more

Well again Dr. Anderson has stepped in and saved the day! After a horrible experience on yesterday she renewed my confidence in the practice! I also have to thank Dr. Burley. At least I got a little sleep last night. Pamela, Dee, Michelle and Camille you rock!!! Thank you for the exceptional care you gave me! read more

I'm a new patient here and i have absolutely fell in love with this place! Everyone was very nice and friendly. I explained that i have anxiety towards dental visits and they made me feel at home. Dr. Anderson did a thorough job during my exam. She explained and showed me all the work that needed to be done. I really appreciate the time her and her staff took to answer all my questions and address my concerns! I will return for the rest of my dental work! read more

REMARKABLE SERVICE. I came here because I saw that one of the dentist, Dr. Swain was voted and highly rank in the area. I see why! So glad I did! Dr. Swain and her staff were beyond courteous and nice! Very very clean establishment. Extremely professional. On time. This by far was the BEST experience I have ever had at any dentists office. Five stars is not enough... They truly hired the right staff. Amazing!! read more

I am terrified of the dentist and these are seriously the best and most calming dentists I've been to. Yes, I was a mess for my first procedure... but everyone took great care of me and I was not at all freaking out about my second. I have interacted with both dentists and many employees and absolutely everyone left an impression. I'd list names but it would just about encompass the entire staff. They remembered details about me from one appointment to the next and made a point to speak to me about things going on in my life when they interacted with me. I have never ever enjoyed the dentist - and I'm not saying a filling is a reason for a party - but it's no longer a dread-filled experience. Highly recommended. read more

Dr. Anderson and her staff were so pleasant from beginning to end. I let her know that I was afraid of the dentist due to my experiences in the past and she completely calmed those fears. She made it a point to educate on me on the procedure I was having and why it was important. She always made sure to check in with me throughout to make sure I was ok. Although she's the professional she always made sure to ask what I wanted. After my procedure Tamika was extremely pleasant as well. I have now found a new Dentist. Thank you Dr. Anderson and team read more

Not a lot to say. Gentle, caring, highly competent. One of the best dentist I've been to in decades

I am absolutely terrified of dentists. Dr Anderson and her team makes me feel 150% comfortable. She performed 2 extractions with ease and had a flipper made for my missing teeth that is comfortable and looks totally natural. Coming in, I was skeptical but after coming to Dasling Dentistry I am no longer afraid of letting them do what they need to do to help me fix my smile. Thank you Yvette for the referral. If you are terrified of going to the dentist, go here and you will come out amazed! read more

I would recommend Dasling Dentistry to anyone. Due to a major fear of dentist, I neglected my teeth and required extensive dental work. Dr. Anderson and her team have the best bedside manner make me feel incredibly comfortable each time that I visit. Dr. Anderson stays engaged your whole visit and eases any fears that you may have. Phyllis, the office manager, breaks down the financial portion of your treatment in a way that you understand. My husband contacted her several times with financial questions and she is always available and patiently explains your responsibility vs. insurance responsibility. I'm elated that I finally found a dentist (and staff) that I can trust. read more

First off I've been to a couple of different dentist offices, but Dasling Dentistry is the best I've ever been to. Right when you walk and you feel at home. From the receptionist to the dental assistants, to the dentist. Everybody treated me so well, made me feel so comfortable and my teeth left very happy. I also would like to say thank you to Mary for being so nice and sweet and Dr. Swain for being so amazing taking care of my teeth. You can tell every single person over there loves what they do and that makes everything 100x better. I definitely recommend everyone to go to Dasling Dentistry read more

Dr. Swain is the best. She explained what procedure was needed, staff made sure we knew what insurance would and would not cover, she gave a full treatment outline the very first visit. Very impressed. read more
