That alone shows something shady is going on behind that counter. When I suggested they count money back to customers (which should be basic customer service), they didn't like that at all. The attitude I got was unbelievable. And when I returned to get the rest of my money, the same employee wouldn't even look me in the eye and actually yelled my first name across the store before I could even walk up to the counter. That's not professional behavior--that employee looked nervous and was mumbling her words to me, which I didn't understand her. This place has gone downhill FAST. The vibe and area is sketchy, the transaction practices feel off, and the staff--including the manager with all the piercings--acts like customers are an inconvenience instead of the reason they have jobs. I genuinely USED to like going here, but certain employees make you feel unwanted, uncomfortable, and disrespected. And that's exactly how you lose loyal customers. Save yourself the frustration. Nothing airtight about it. I think it should be a requirement for the budtender to tell you the harvest dates. I called the store to see about getting an exchange. They told me that it was safe to use the flower. And that I should make a note of asking the bartender the harvest date. The manager told me also once you leave the dispensary there is nothing they can do. I called the cura leaf main number and got there customer help center lol. She put me on hold and checked with the other employees before transferring me to the store. And told me they shouldn't be selling something that old. She wasn't even going to transfer me to the store she said I would have to go back down there to talk to the manager and it would be up to his discretion. I'll be sure to ask the bud tender next time what the harvest date is especially on sale items. Trying to make money anyway they can by selling flower that's not even sealed airtight in a plastic jar with a plastic lid. Smh I tried to upload photos but it's not letting me. After my major complaint, the General Manager of the store, Bryan, reached out to me personally on September 3rd to address the issue immediately. We had a direct phone conversation on September 4th where he sincerely apologized for the packaging errors and the customer service breakdown. He took complete accountability, assured me he would have his team go back through training to fix these problems permanently, and offered a store credit to make things right. I didn't trust it at first because of the past services, but I went back to the store today at 9:30 AM to test his word. The transaction didn't go through automatically--the register system required an override for the credit, and the budtender had to call a supervisor over. In a great twist of fate, the supervisor who stepped up to process it was Jerrica--the exact same manager who had helped me swap out the original mislabeled pack. Jerrica pushed the override through perfectly, ensuring General Manager Bryan's promised credit was fully honored. The morning shift vibe today was completely different from the night shift workers. The service was fast, respectful, and excellent. I still felt an eerie, anxious feeling walking into the building because of how badly the original staff manipulated me, but GM Bryan is a man of his word and Jerrica is an absolute asset to this company for stepping up a second time to protect a patient. They finally have this storefront under control. If you are a medical patient, go during the morning shift if possible.
