I've been taking my Subaru to Eric at Minor Auto Care for years now and he always takes care of her. He's always straight forward about what you need and more importantly about what you don't need. In a day and age where it seems everyone wants to take you to the bank for the smallest service, it's great knowing a mechanic who you can trust and has your best interest in mind. Eric and his whole team are friendly and hard working. They make sure you're their first priority, and it's easy to get to know everyone on a first name basis. Recently I bought a Ram 1500 and took it in to have a Borla exhaust put on and some adjustments done to my suspension. They had everything done in no time and gave me an outstanding deal on the labor cost, nearly half of what I was quoted elsewhere. I genuinely have nothing but great things to say about this place! If your car or truck needs anything, from custom upgrades to even just a simple oil change, Minor Auto Care is the spot. read more

I went to this shop because my taillight went out and something in my engine broke and they were so nice. Coming from someone that knows nothing about cars and giving them my car, they were super kind and reassuring. They fixed what I needed to be done with no charge. I feel like most mechanics would take advantage of someone that doesn't know prices, but instead they were the best. For sure coming back again and telling all of my friends. read more

Love these guys! I actually stopped in because they had lots of classic cars out front and was looking for a good body shop. Eric recommended me to one and it was great. The body shop said MAC was great. Well, I finally needed auto work so I went back, and they did a great job! Eric is knowledgeable and McKenna is super nice and sweet. Both very helpful! After my great experience with my newer truck, I brought my classics to them. Very fast turn around time, they had all parts in stock, super satisfied with everything! Thanks guys!! read more

Eric and his group are a top-notch team! They've worked on my truck, as well as my classic car a few different times and each time they've exceeded my expectations. There's no upselling, they back their work, are very fair with their prices, are very fast, and even proactively reach out to update you on the status of your car or truck. I know my cars are in capable hands when they're at MAC. Great shop, I will gladly recommend them to friends, family, and coworkers. read more

From installing all the right hardware to tracking down bushings that weren't in the kit. They did it all. I contacted Eric and he went to where my husband was with his car. They waited for the tow truck. Eric gave my husband a ride to the shop and waited to receive the car to secure it at the shop. Minor Auto Care - Friendly and inviting office area - Auto Repair Near Me - Fullerton, California

My dad has been using Eric's shop for close to 10 years and has always had nothing but wonderful things to say. While visiting from out of state this week, I noticed my breaks acting a bit wonky, so I brought her into the shop when they opened. Eric took EXCELLENT care of my truck and truly treated it like his own. She needed some real TLC and I had been putting it off due to a lack of confidence with my local shops back home. His mechanics are all friendly and knowledgeable too! I might live 4 hours away, but this will now be the only shop to touch my truck. I can drive out to visit my parents and leave her for spa days at Minor Auto Care. She's already begging me for suspension and a fun makeover day now that she's been so pampered here! If you're looking for honesty, reliability , efficiency and fairness, then you've found your shop!!! Oh and it's a family affair, his daughter runs the front office ! How cool is that:) read more

I rec avoiding this place. I had a bad experience here. Poor communication, poor workmanship, slow, sat on my project for a year and didn't do any work. Lost my parts, allowed theft of my property, and nearly caused me a fatal accident due to negligence. Don't trust your brakes, engine, or anything else on your car to this place. Dishonest business practices. read more

Let me start by saying that I don't write Yelp reviews unless they are warranted. Minor Auto Care has earned this review! I needed to replace a wheel well in my vehicle as it was falling apart from underneath. I called and spoke to Eric and asked him if it can be done and asked if they had the fasteners to secure the rubber trim under the bumper. He said "Yes we can do that for you." So I brought the vehicle in and immediately one of his mechanics started working on it! After pulling off my wheel they inspected my breaks for me and discovered that I my break pads were very thin and needed to be replaced for my safety. Also pointed out to me "hot spots" on the rotors and asked if my steering wheel wobbles when I break. Then Eric inquired about the vehicle mileage. They took a look at the back break pads and also showed me that they were worn thin and suggested I replace those pads as well. So I told Eric to go ahead and replace the pads as well. Safety is very important and they took an interest in my safety by taking the extra time to check he serviceability of my breaks. While I was waiting on my vehicle, Eric took some time to show me his other garage where they work on classic cars and introduced me to the rest of his team. That was cool! We also talked about other things as well to pass the time. After I left, Eric and his team all made me feel like I knew them for a while. Everyone was very nice and showed interest in me all while maintaining a level of professionalism. Eric believes in taking care of his customers as his number one priority and you will feel like priority when you get your vehicle serviced here! Thanks again for your work and personable experience. I will definitely be returning for all of my auto maintenance needs! Semper Fi! read more

Minor Auto Care is AMAZING. Eric is always so honest about my car and what work needs to be done or what services aren't as necessary. It can be hard to find an honest provider who works with integrity, but MAC has a reputation for providing honest, quality work for great prices. Their customer service is great as well, answering quickly with a good wait time and offering courtesy cars. They do an excellent job in all of their auto services and I haven't had car issues since their repairs. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of needing a car repair. My vehicle would not hold water and I needed a repair quickly. On Saturday I took my vehicle to Minor Auto Care not knowing they were by appt only and the shop was closed. I placed my keys in the drop box and left leaving a message for when they shop opened. Eric the shop owner called me immediately. Was very friendly courtesy and understanding. He advised me of the repair I needed and the cost. I was amazed by the quick response and the quote. Not only did he get me up and running quickly. But also gave me a loaner vehicle so I wouldn't be without. Eric and his staff completely restored my faith in mechanics. I will forever use them only for any of my car repairs. THANK YOU MINOR AUTO CARE!!!! read more

It seemed to be great communication, honest service, honest advice. I'll update this review as the I drove the car around. McKenna and Dory are killer at the front desk. ---------------------------------------------------- Update April 25, 2019 One month ago I got my 99 Buick Park Ave fixed up at MAC. Since then my car has been running smooth. The bump I ran into was in regards to the bill. I was verbally quoted $20/elbow bypass hose. I needed two. I was charged $40/elbow bypass hose. I was verbally quoted $80/coolant system flush. I was charged $120/coolant system flush. I was verbally quoted $20/thermostat. I was charged $40/thermostat and gasket. That's a total of $100 difference between quote and what was actually charged. I learned that it is essential to get a copy of the quote prior to having your car fixed anywhere. I called MAC to sort this out just now, and their main goal was to make sure I was happy with the service and are taking care of me in the future. They offered other options for what my current needs are with my vehicle. Very happy with following up with them. ---------------------------------------------- I received the name of the company that makes/supplies the elbow bypass hose. They received one from Dorman and one from a dealership. I was told in MAC's system they charge $38.57 per elbow hose. I googled "Dorman Elbow Bypass Hose" and found prices per part ranging $5 - $15 per elbow bypass hose. I wish there would be more explanation towards this and more honesty with the pricing and how it works. I may or may not make it back here. read more

I found Eric Minor about 4 years ago; I needed a mechanic to install new brakes on my PT Cruiser. I asked at Auto Zone if they had any recommendations, and he gave me Eric's Minor Auto Care card - and he's from Yorba Linda, my city for many years. I had him install my new brakes and I knew I'd found an auto repair company I could trust. He's a wonderful personality with a wealth of knowledge about all kinds of vehicles - old, rusty and dilapidated to the new state-of-the-art vehicles. Minor Auto Care has pricing that is fair, affordable, and his staff is superb and friendly. He's done quite a bit of community service for those that he saw a need for auto repair - it was published in the Orange County Register. His staff attends continuing education workshops to keep up with the always innovative auto industry. He gets your vehicle repaired and you're back on the road the same day most of the time. If you need body work on your vehicles - he's got the best referrals with superb service - I've used them! He's even got a loaner car if you need it for a day! I have such a high opinion of this man and his business - I feel like I've adopted him as my younger brother. Need I say more? ~Nancy Lord -Yorba Linda CA read more

I took my 66 Toronado, a rare beast, to Eric about a month ago. The car had stopped running and wasn't getting a spark. Eric replaced the ignition coil without charge in less than a day! I will definitely be back for any problems I have with a classic car. Thanks MAC! read more
