Scotty and Noah took care of me here. They gave me a price I was happy with for my axle replacement for my Mazda 6, had an appointment the same day, and it all went really smoothly. Thanks y'all! Good people :) read more

Amazing place. Last minute break job and was done in an hour. I highly recommend that you check them out!

I have an old British sports car. Scotty had it fixed the same day I brought it in. Excellent and honest service.

I had a great experience here at this shop. The owner was friendly and honest with everything. I called a few shops to explain my issue, and they did not even want to look at my car, but Kindred did and was able to fix my problem the same day. He has a very positive attitude in trying to find solutions for his clients and will go beyond expectations. This is now my go-to spot, and I will refer this business to anyone I know. Thank you, Kindred! read more

Was referred to Scott at Kindred from a friend who actually works on cars for a living. Brought my 2020 civic for a full service in the morning, and it was ready by my lunch break. He pulled out my engine filter and showed me how dirty it was. He was up front and he's trustworthy. Scott's a standup guy and knows what he's doing. Great business. Highly recommend. read more

Scotty is a great at his job! I was having a "Check Engine" light problem with my Nissan. I wasn't able to pass smog because of it. Now I've had this check engine light on for awhile and had taken it to several places and no one was able to diagnose it. He was able to figure it out and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! He's trustworthy and will get the job done. read more

Kindred ADR - Auto Repair Near Me - Yorba Linda, California

Great service! Fair prices! We have been taking our cars to Mike at Mike Schultz imports for as long as I can remember. He has always treated my family and our cars very well. Mike has saved me money and headaches over the years. I highly recommend this shop! read more

Mike and Scotty saved my car. I have a vintage 1981 Mercedes and after taking it to a terrible mechanic. Scotty diagnosed my vehicle in less than half hour later and it was 2 months at the other place. Being a woman it matters who I trust and I did not get the run around and I was not ignored. They fixed my car and it is running beautifully. I regret not taking it here first I could've enjoyed the car in early summer. Thank you MS import!! read more

Horrible the guy ripped me off and possibly ruined my car. I had to be coming back 3 times for the same job. At the end I just gave up. He put the wrong parts on one occasion and a bad cheap knockoff on the other. read more

We took my son's car here (260 Z that we're restoring) to have the engine rebuilt. It wasn't done correctly, required two return trips to fix issues that hadn't been addressed, and to top everything off, *SOMEONE* there managed to drop the car onto something else and CRUSHED the gas tank - and then painted over the damage so it wouldn't be noticeable at first glance. Of course, we DID notice it, and when we called them, they denied any knowledge of how it happened. All I have to say is that if you're that unaware of what's happening in your shop, you need to find another line of work. read more

Mike was extremely nice. He had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with my brakes. It was not the parts. He measured the parts that were on to make sure. Was not the master cylinder. The pads needed changing. He showed me the old parts. The bleeding seemed to go well. But the pedal kept being low to the floor. Turned out to be a part in hydraulics. He charged me only 3 hours instead of the 5 days he kept working on it to find the problem for my extremely low pedal for breaks. He tuned up my engine and changed the oil. I feel he was very honest and took care of me. I will definitely go back. Scotty installed my radio. It took him longer than the estimated 2 hours. He still charged me only 2 hours. I would recommend this ship to ladies. Honest. No trying to take advantage of you. read more

Mike and Scott are very reliable, very trustworthy to take care and service your car. I got a quote from a different mechanic to put on 2 new tires, fix a belt, and a temp sensor and they came in less than half of the other guy and my car runs better than it did two years ago. My entire family goes there and has been going there when we lived in Yorba Linda. Now we live in Newport but i still take my car all the way there because I trust them and they always give me a solid deal! Thanks Mike and Scott! read more

I'm a single mom with two little girls. I took my car to Mike's and his diagnosis included a complete transmission overhaul, quoted at an outrageous price. Moral of the story, the only issue with my vehicle was a $70 cam censor. This guy is a complete liar and theif! read more

I tried this shop because the owner: Mike Schultz seemed like an honest man, but he was not. He misdiagnosed my vehicle, he made made me buy another part that was not needed. He overcharged me for the part (distributor) and on and on and on. Then he finally said that he couldn't fix the car and I needed to take it to the local dealer because he figure out how to fix it. Watch out for this guy! He's not an honest person, he'll rip you off blind. read more

I was stranded at the arco station wondering what to do. I googled competant mechanics near me. I called, and mike answers the phone, older gentleman with alot of jokes and sayings, big smile. so he determins its my starter right away, and it took awhile to get the part, but understandably, my car is a 1986 nissan 300 zx. so I ask him, I say, I have an oil leak, do youhave any ideas? I WAS BLOWN AWAY. he says yeah, its your pressure sensor for the guage. WHAT??? I have been to three places, firestone on tustin ave,pep boys, and americas tire sensor. firestone filled my oil pan with dye to find the leak, then said its my oil pan gasket. $175 +oil change $200. pep boys checked the dye and said it was power steering fluid. LOL my driveway has oil on it, NOT STEERING FLUID, americas tire, $1875 to replace the oil pan gasket, the rack and pinnion steering, oil change and Oh, we will give you a great deal on the struts. all that for an honest diagnosis at shultz imports and guess what? he fixed my starter for $75 in labor. I PROMISE YOU, I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE. THANK YOU MIKE. read more

Mike has been working on my multiple cars for over 20 years. Yes he is not an expert on all cars, but he is honest, he will get the work done and the customer taken care of. Yes, you can get the work done at your manufacturers dealership, it might be done right there and will cost you twice the price...assuming that dealer doesn't upsell you to some other service you don't need right now. I will continue to take my cars to Mike Schultz for another 20 years..I hope! read more

My car couldn't pass smog, and within a day Scotty had it fixed. They even took my car and got it smogged for me! I was shocked. Very kind and fast. Thanks again. read more

I own a VW bug and this is the ONLY place I trust to bring my car. Everyone is incredibly helpful and is truly there to help find the problem. I most definitely recommend taking your car to Mikes especially if you have a foreign car. Unlike the dealers Mike looks around for the cheapest price in parts and guarantees his work. I have been taking my cars and trucks to MS Import Service since about 1973, when Mike opened his shop at the end of the Feed and Grain Store. I have taken my 1961 VW bug, 1968 Datsun Pickup, 1981 Toyota Pickup, 1989 Toyota 2WD Pickup, 1985 4WD pickup, 1989 Toyota 4WD Pcikup, 1994 4WD Toyota Pickup, 2005 4WD Drive Toyota Pickup and other cars to Mike for service and repair.
