When I show up, the manager or owner tells me that she moved out of the country to help a family member. You cannot imagine how distraught I was because when you find your girl you stick to her! And I trusted her with my eyebrows and my daughter's eyebrows for years. I was also very upset because I told them why did you guys keep my appointment? Or even notify me before I showed up? I don't just let anybody touch my brows especially my daughters ! I was expecting my girl Priti to do them. I also had a very important event. The owner ended up doing my eyebrows and my daughters but didn't come out the same. I never went back to Ziba and left a pretty lengthy review on yelp. If you go back to the Yelp and read all the reviews, many were deceived the way I was. As a business owner they could've called and notified their customers ahead of time. Anyway, After many years of searching for a spot / threader. Unfortunately, I never did! Don't get me wrong I did try Brow Essense and also in Glendale and Dani is great but I can't keep paying 50 bucks for just eyebrow threading. That's why I say the universe wanted me to find my girl in East LA. Go see Priti! She's amazing and their price is actually reasonable ! $10 for eyebrow threading . So today was a good day!

She was hesitant to trim the ends, which is something that I always have done by my original eyebrow lady. My eyebrows were uneven as one was arched and the other was curved so I had to tell her to trim the ends or take off more above the arch. She had to go back in several times and each time she failed to do what I asked her. My eyebrows were 3 weeks grown out and I could literally see my shape yet she failed to see it. They changed their appointment system and its going through some growing pains (they offer appointments when they aren't open; ask me how I know). However, they let me so a walkin as soon as they opened and were friendly, efficient, and helped answer my questions about the new offers. In some ways, this is a bit of a no frills medspa (at least to me) and I prefer that cause I can basically come in and out without too much down time. I'm also bad at relaxing anyways so I'm not the type who needs all the amenities of like drinks and aromatherapy. That doesn't mean staff are curt or rude, they still make time to chat and be friendly. What I did appreciate this time is even though I haven't been back for ~2 years, they still had my file and I still had credits for services which they honored. They also seem to have specials quite often and it can make aesthetic services a bit more affordable (but also, unnecessary procedures for vanity aren't gonna be "cheap"). Overall, for the LA area, I find the price to be extremely affordable and the results don't seem to be negatively impacted. I'd recommend this spot for the aesthetic curious or for long time medspa service users.

It was peaceful inside, only a couple other clients were in there at the same time as me. They have complimentary water, snacks, and coffee for their clients which I really appreciated. Overall, it was $75 for wash + cut + blow dry. These women work hard so the price was worth it & honestly it's a good price in Los Angeles. Recommend coming here if you need your hair cut! ‍
