Minnow is a restaurant situated on the clapham high street. It is a trendy area full of restaurants and people bustling to have a good time. My friends and I came here to celebrate his bday with a dinner. We ordered a few bottles of prosseco, which was delicious. For starters, I got the white bean and truffle with pickled egg yolk. To me, it was well seasoned but just ok. I thought the truffle was good, the yolk was a little over cooked and I didn't like the green onions as a garnish. For the main, I got the lamb rump. The lamb itself was good but the kale chips were crispy but super greasy. I also ordered the gem lettuce, which was really delicious. Dessert was the pear and ice cream. That was good but it didn't blow me away. My friends loved their dishes more than I did. I think this place has potential, but it needs to work out a few of their quirks. Ps. Try to sit upstairs..downstairs is a little claustrophobic. read more
