I like the fact…read morethat I can go in and scan my own things and check out, but the dedicated Walmart+ lines always have people who are ringing up individual items from their cart-oftentimes with loaded carts. Why bother having a designated lane if you let anybody use it? I could be in and out in so little time if I didn't run into this problem. I've mentioned it to the staff and they don't seem to know how to change it (or care). The other issue is that the staff who are collecting items for online orders are having full-on loud conversations with someone on their phone by way of earbuds. Often times it's in a different language so I don't know what they're saying, but it is obvious they are speaking with a friend or family member! One time it went on for over 10 minutes and I know that because I wound up following behind her with my shopping. I did let management know but obviously that was ignored. Last time I was there someone stood in front of the juice refrigerator and didn't move. She turned and looked at me as I waited for her to make a selection, but she still stood there looking and looking. I finally said excuse me before grabbing something quickly, but she didn't say a word or move out of the way! That tells me that there isn't much oversight regarding these people who are shopping in the store for other customers.

Shoes are everywhere, on the floor thrown everywhere. Disorganized, Adidas shoes will be mixed with other brands for example. There's rarely anyone working in this department, and the ones that you seen, hide in the stock room, no urgency to help or flat out tell you, something is out of stock without checking the stockroom or their computer etc. Checking out is a burden: lines remind me of the MVA and the cashiers aren't that friendly unless they are trying to pester you in signingup for their store credit card that has a high interest rate.. Unless Im in a hurry, Ill stick to Bowie location. They closed off the entrance near the shoe department, another bummer.

There is a customer service person who has been there probably as long as the store has been open, but at least for the last 15 years. Anytime I go to customer service and she's there, she recognizes me right away and says "hey sugar how are you doing? She even asks me about my special needs son because she met him 15 years ago after he stole something and I made him take it back and apologize. She was incredible! I would love to work here but I would wind up spending my entire paycheck so it's not worth it. LOL

Told my husband we would go to big lots as it expires on July 1st. The first time we went, I didn't find anything to buy. The second time, today, we have a get together at our place tomorrow, so I picked up some stuff. We get to the counter and it's not working. No wifi connection so husband and I both step outside to try and get the code. Ben said there's usually a bar code and usually doesn't take this long. My husband said to just make the purchase, but I came specifically to use the coupon, it would not be right not to use it! So I told Ben to put my stuff aside, and I'll come back when we get it to work as our house has great Wi-Fi and we thought that was the problem. We've been home for hours and it ain't working!! I told Ben to let management know it's really annoying. I said I'd be back once I had the $30 coupon for my $50+ (picked up about $100), but since it's not working & it was just stuff I picked up just to use the coupon, I'll see if I have more of my time to waste today. This is the total opposite of my first experience. I don't know if it's the system or if it's just a way to get customers in. I finally got the bar code when I tried at 9pm this night! Parking is plentiful, but no matter where you park, you'll be walking, because the place is extensive. There are some accessible elevators and elevators, but beware, they're typically out of order at any given time. You'll also find great deals here if you take your time and search, and can find some really great items. The food court, however, is seriously lacking in choices. Im actually quite surprised! But there also a lot of dessert and specialty shops that compete with the eateries in the food court, but I don't think that's an excuse. So after all that shopping, don't place your heart on good sit down eating at the outlets. Service typically depends on the store, but I do feel like this place has a bit of racial discrimination and bias. Like there is an uneasiness among everyone, and some people excessively watch people of color, especially if you're shopping alone. They're not as "brave" if you're with a group of 2 or more ppl. But Ive never experienced or witnessed any overt hatred or aggressive behavior. So it's not like these outlets are unsafe. Overall, I recommend..and it's located nearly off the highway.

The parking lot is a nightmare. Park far away because people don't know how to drive. Save the trip, nothing exciting here.
