2.18.26 I haven't been to a Dollar Tree in a while, so I wasn't sure whether some locations were better than others. What immediately stood out at this one was the self‑checkout and the fact that they sell gift cards--both firsts for me at any Dollar Tree. I also noticed some items priced at $4 and $5 while browsing the frozen food section, which was new to me. The store did have a few empty or sparse shelves, along with some merchandise still sitting in boxes waiting to be stocked. My favorite dollar tree in the area. It's very clean, well stocked, and always has what I need. Don't laugh, but my nieces finally convinced me to try the lashes. Yup. Im an official member of the lash club, but mine won't look like I'm a character from Lambchop. But you will need lash glue. But don't get it from here. Get that from Amazon. They have so much to choose from, and most look natural or subtle. I love the candy boxes because I'll never pay for candy at the movies. Cheap hair ties- cuz they magically disappear in my house. Sudoku and other lil workbooks cuz I ain't paying for wifi on the plane. I get my cleaners, wipes for the cars, Utz party mix, etc. They get you in and out. Then I'll stroll across the street to get my Starbucks fix. I don't recommend coming here at night. read more

First time visiting this Dollar Tree and it was great! The store had a good selection of items I was looking for. Found some Christmas Holiday decors, ornaments, signs, Toy gifts and Kitchen items. A lot of variety in food, drinks and toiletries. Everything is a $1, hence the store name! You can buy a whole lot of stuff for very cheap prices, doesn't get better than that! Lines at the registers can get long, though. Especially when there is only one person working as a cashier. Some carts need to replaced as well. read more

Yikes, currently this one is a bit of a mess to get into. They are doing renovations to the plaza which makes for an interesting trip here. They are doing something to the front of the buildings and adding something by the looks of it. Not only are they doing that, but there is work going on in the parking lot as well, which doesn't make for an easy parking experience. Inside needs a little sprucing up. It has that heavy fluorescent flow going on, like you are back in the 80s. Variety is a bit lacking here, or maybe it was just how the merchandise was laid out in a weird way. Some items you would be able to find in the aisles like other stores and then some of the items were on display racks nowhere near where other items were. You also have to remember that items are going to be unique to the area. What I can find in Pennsylvania wasn't going to be available at this location necessarily. But it did give me a chance to try new things I suppose. With the trip I was on I knew I wanted to have snacks on hand because I am a snacker. And there really isn't much to do when you are sitting in a hotel room by yourself. So of course I took advantage of the cheap prices of items here to stock up on many different things. Staff were polite and helpful. There when you needed and kept busy when you didn't need them. read more

This dolls tree is AMAZING. I don't care what anyone says. Everything is A DOLLAR lol. I have no idea why I don't come here more often. Sure the lines are long and there is ALWAYS someone who comes up to you and asks you for money because their car broke down but hey for a dollar..I'm in. I legit got everything I needed for Easter for $30. I got a ton of cleaning supplies for $20. I do wish it was larger as the isles are very cramped and usually messy. The first Dollar Tree that I have ever been at and it is always extremely organized. They never run out of products and it is gigantic, full of options and good products. The employees are very helpful as well, and I'm glad that it is in a good location. read more

Well today at about 7pm I was shopping and I saw a guy stocking shelves and I asked if I could have an empty box . The idiot thought that I was asking for the cart that he was using which was full of empty boxes and before I could finish my question He snarled NO! in a very rude manner. Now sir you are working at the dollar store. putting bottles on the shelf....Your hostile unwarranted arrogance does not equate to your current position . Dear Dollar Tree, Why do you tempt me so? Of all the "dollar" stores, you are the only one who is really a "DOLLAR STORE", because everything is $1 or less. You are constantly getting new things to taunt me. Holiday around the corner? You have every type of decoration. Ornaments, window stickers, windsocks, door hangers, tinsel, reindeer headbands (2 for $1), ugly sweater kits, even socks to match! Having a party? Invitations, plates, cups, party favors, balloons and gift bags galore! College student stocking your cupboards? Plates, mugs, glasses, hampers, hangers, shampoo, soap...everything you usually steal from home! Hungry? Not only chips, candy and generic soda but bread and frozen food! Spring cleaning? Mops, brooms, and every type of cleaning supply possible. Gourmet cook? Baking pans, spatulas, ziploc bags, wax and parchment paper, aluminum foil and spices! My favorite sections are makeup, hair accessories and office supplies!!! 250 Generic post its for $1, mechanical pencil, pens, notebooks, staples, tape, poster board...anything and everything to stimulate my hoarder gene! There is a dollar tree in Germantown and even two in Rockville....but you are the best in the area despite another DT hiding just around the corner. You are neat and organized. You restock the shelves and you are big enough to maneuver a full sized shopping cart. There is plenty of parking. You have the best buyer in the area because each time I come in, I find something new! If I am having a bad day, I can come in and you make me happy. Tons of parking in the shared plaza lot. Lots of space but the inventory lacks diversity and organization, and the registers aren't consistently manned. Not sure I'd buy snacks and condiments like the other patrons, but cheap housewares, or stocking up on greeting cards and gift-wrap goods can be handy. When there's a line of 8 and 1 cashier struggling with a customer trying to pay with an expired credit card, maybe another employee should help out. read more

They never have nothing always talking about they are going to stock really so why your store always bare dont make no sense I see I will have to start avoiding this place and going to a store that actually have a good selection of items read more

Store is sometimes a little messy, but I attribute that to children who are apparently not attended very well by parents. Seen it on many occasions. The selections are pretty good for last minute small gifts and the staff is always helpful and friendly here. Decent frozen food items are also available. read more

Montgomery Village is THE BEST DOLLAR TREE EVER! What a wonderful shopping experience I had yesterday. First of all I walked in and was greeted with the biggest smile. You can actually see down the aisles, no boxes, carts, or clutter. The store was clean neat and orderly. I was ready to shop!!, usually I just want to feel get in and get out as Fast as I can! They had staff walking with a hand basket picking up misplaced items and keeping shelves neat. My items were NOT dusty or out dated as you find in most dollar trees.. I didn't have to sift thru candy or other items to find what I was looking for. Every staff person was helpful and friendly especially, I think her name was Laila... she knows that store inside out and personally walked me to the item I was looking for.... other dollars trees give you an aisle number or point in the direction. I've been to this dollar tree two times.Both times I was a satisfied customer!! I only wish this dollar tree was closer to me lol. This location is huge and has a lot of variety! Customer service is great and their always good at keeping the lines flowing nice and smoothly. I wasn't even aware of this location until my friend took me to the complex. When we first came to the complex we went to Denny's which is right across from this dollar tree. I was very excited when I discovered this dollar tree! I'm always obsessed over every dollar tree lol. I found some great products at this location! I definitely will be coming back! read more

I went in couple weeks ago , they had a sign posted that they were out of helium. So i just double checked while checking out, and the older african american lady who was checking me out was nasty and rude. "The sign is still up isn't it" i politely responed yes but i wanted to make sure because some times employees forget to take things down, and she quickly said "It would have been down if we had helium"... her attitude was nasty and mean. Dollar tree needs to improve with their employees attitudes and the way they address costumers. read more
