My beautiful, tall salad and my friend's yogurt w/fruit at Minifactory
    Voco M.

This exquisite new cafe and jam kitchen lights up the center of Bristol's Main St. with bright yellow chairs, wooden tables, expansive counter of delicious pastries, excellent espresso drinks, a grocery area full of fresh, local and rare ingredients for cooking as well as drinks and food-to-go. The ample, open space has long been a community gathering place known to locals as 'The Bakery' or 'Bristol Bakery', and V Smiley's update of it is so refreshing, thoughtful and uplifting. It functions as a cafe as well as the place where V Smiley's 'Good Food Award'-winning jams are made. The food is pretty exquisite...I loved my huge salad with freshly boiled egg and my friend had a generous bowl of yogurt and honey-sweetened apricot and raspberry. The menu seems to expand and change often, and they talked about adding a dinner service. Highly highly recommend.

I would request their bread & butter with labneh and a big salad for my last meal on earth.

Pretentious and overpriced. Service is absolutely awful as well. Food is mediocre. Bristol Cliffs was for everyone, this is for the elite.

What a delightful little bakery! Stopped on my way to Burlington and tried the breakfast panini,…read morecardamon bun and almond croissant. The cardamon was sweet and light. It's a dense bread but the subtle cardamon is the main show. The panini has a soft inside with chewy inside, love the texture! I'm for sure will be returning for some of the moat interesting desserts I've seen! The decor is open and little nick knacks for sale from gourmet chocolate, sauces and canned fish. I hope to buy some bread next time!

Fortunately Vergennes Laundry makes tasty food because their customer service is nonexistent…read more We had heard so many great compliments from our cousins, also visiting the area, so we made sure to swing in before leaving town. Upon entering, not a single employee lifted their head or greeted us, even after I had said "good morning". We asked for our 2 paninis to go and was not given any type of direction where to wait or what the next step might be. We hovered awkwardly inside and outside. Fortunately the young gentleman that delivered our paninis to us, had an awesome upbeat energy! Our paninis were not what I expected, in a good way! They were almost like an egg salad with peppers and cheese on very soft and fresh focaccia! $10 seemed fair for the sandwiches but I'm not sure how 2 paninis and a piece of lemon cake totaled $27. While leaving I said "thank you" and it seemed like pulling teeth for one of the ladies to quietly say "goodbye." They might want to look into common courtesy or even a customer service training on YouTube.
