This location is convenient and quick. Starbread is take out so don't expect tables because you need to head out and eat those babies while they're fresh (although a quick zap in the microwave will have them just as tasty). The woman helping customers was genuinely one of the kindest people I've met in a long time. She radiated joy, warmth, and kindness. I had the jalapeño cheese pastry, and it was outstanding. Even cold, it was flaky on the outside, soft on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. I caught myself wishing I'd bought another one before I even finished it. My family tried the apple pastry and the sugar donut, and both were equally impressed. The apple pastry was beautifully flaky--you could actually hear the crisp layers with every bite--and the sugar donut disappeared with zero complaints. Great pastries are one thing, but combining exceptional quality with genuinely kind people is what makes a place memorable.
