A lot has changed overtime, inside is still cute with lots of trinkets you can purchase when you walk in. To name a few, they had plushies, boba related things (boba plushies, straws, candle). They have snacks like chips as well you can snack on. Even if you didn't want to do anything to eat/drink from there, it's a cute little place to look at the stuff they sell. Anyways going on to the drinks... they have a vast list of drinks, there is a drink for everyone! The matcha drinks were calling our name. My friend ordered the banana matcha (matcha with banana foam) & I ordered the cloud matcha coconut (fresh thai coconut water, creamy whipped matcha). You might be thinking like "coconut water with whipped matcha???" like don't knock if till you try it. Honestly, soooo good, I enjoyed every last drip of my drink. It really is good matcha that they use & you can taste. I would definitely try their matcha flight next (has 3 different matcha drinks you can try). In addition, service was good, they were friendly and made our drink pretty fast. Overall enjoyed my experience here & will be back to try other drinks! read more

I went to this place at the same time while they were having the Belmont shore Christmas parade. This establishment were serving hot chocolate outside their store. The service was great and the line wasn't that bad. However $7 for a hot chocolate?! What is happening. They put a marshmallow snowman on top of the chocolate but still it was way overpriced and I always wonder why they can't just lower the price and increase the quantity sold instead of trying to sell less but for higher cost. In any case I went inside and they have a very cozy cafe with some cool things on the menu. I might go back but the $7 for some chocolate turned me off a bit. read more

Located off of 2nd street, with lots of metered parking, Mini Monster Cafe is a cute little shop that tries to do too much: flower shop, coffee, boba, and ice cream shop. The moment you walk in, you are greeted by beautiful succulents, dried flowers, and unique little boba squishies. Once you get past those, you go through a line filled with Asian chips and random pins/patches. The menu itself can be a bit overwhelming, as there is so much to choose from, from boba drinks to coffee to ice cream to macarons. I opted to get the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba and the Pistachio Macaron with Vanilla Ice Cream. They give you a lot of boba (which is a plus) and the Jasmine Milk Tea, itself, isn't anything out of this world, rather feels pretty consistent with other boba shops. The vanilla ice cream was icy to say the least and the macaron was soft and delicious. Overall, an okay shop that feels like it is doing too many things at once. read more
