Excellent. The best meal I've had in Camden so far. The food was fresh, the selections many and all tasty. The restaurant was very clean and the staff very cheerful. The fried chicken, the vegetables and the multiple meat (shrimp x 3, beef x 1, pork x 2) and vegetable dishes were my favorites. I cannot understand the low ratings. I went twice. I decided I'd excuse my first time there as it was a Sunday evening, not a busy time. I just went back on a Monday at 6 p.m. and I found the same issues as the first time. None of the chicken was warm. Not even lukewarm. It was cold and tough. Almost impossible to chew. One time is unfortunate; two times is a trend and based on other reviews, I am not the only one seeing it. The only decent thig o the buffet was the egg drop soup. Somehow it was pretty hot. I called in an order by phone and told her sweet and sour chicken with like a breading around it and sauce and i ordered chicken noodle with rice. When i got it home they gave me the wrong kind of chicken soup they gave me noodles not rice like i ordered. I also ordered mushrooms and brocollii and couldn't eat that with no meat to go with it. Terrible service When i called up to tell her about it she said sorry about that and did not offer to fix the situation. We frequent Ming's on a regular basis. Whether it's the buffet or take out, the food is always fresh and delicious! For take out, the portions are huge! The staff are extremely friendly, and remember our previous take out order when I call! They also have an amazing homemade hot mustard on the buffet that they'll send with take out if you ask. Food is kept fresh at the only restaurant I felt comfortable ordering from during covid. My son loves the veggie lo mwin, my wife likes the spring rolls, my daughter's favorite is the General Taos Bean Curd, I like the mixed vegetables! Very reasonable prices, your gonna have leftovers! read more

The buffet stays cold, don't risk the chicken since they don't change the heaters out. The later you go the worse it will get and I've been coming here for years. The service is fine but could be better. They also don't refill anything on the buffet after 8 pm not wven smaller portions. Overall the should be shut down as a buffet and stick to making to go orders. They must pay the health department under the table. read more

Husband and I were here in Camden in unfortunate circumstances. We solved our problem and were not ready to get back on the road yet so we decided we were hungry and we had planned to have Chinese for a while now so this place popped up and only 5 minutes away as well! So we pull up and it didn't look like much on the outside but we walked in and paid and the spread looked great and smelled delicious! Got a full plate myself and EVERYTHING is good! That is the worst place Did I ever Eat in. They did not give me my money back when my friend asked for it. As soon as I got up after I paid I threw up outside I couldn't keep anything down it made me so sick. It had to smell of bug spray in the place and it was on the food and there was no labels on anything. I had the shrimp that was on the buffet and it really tasted like it was sand in it it was that bad. I left there being very sick that day that was on a Friday of last week. So if you go there to eat you are taking your life into your hands. They are not worth it in the restaurant is not worth it. This is an older restaurant that was bought out and renamed by a new family. Where there was kindness and good food, there is now rude people and bland food. I went 3 times before I decided to make this review because I do believe that everybody and place has their bad days. This is not the case. They have the monopoly right now since they are the only Asian buffet in downtown Camden but hopefully soon someone with better business practices and better attitudes come and show them how it is done. The food is the standard Asian buffet but dry and bland. Even on their busy days the food is barely replaced. Avoid if possible, the food and the service leaves much to be desired. Columbia is just 30 minutes away and has much better service and Asian style food. read more
