We're new to the area and have been craving good Chinese food. Saw recent a recent post on the…read moreNextdoor app about a new Chinese restaurant, Golden China. The comments on Nextdoor were overwhelmingly positive, so off I went for tonights for dinner. I tried calling ahead to place my order like the menu says, and if I didn't get a busy signal, it just rang until it disconnected. If that happens to you, just go and order in person. IT IS SOOOOOO WORTH IT!!! It's located in the Food Lion plaza on HWY 1/601/34 (across from the Invista - Camden plant), two stores to the left of Food Lion. It's Grand Opening was September 1, 2026. Walk in the front door and there some tables for those who want to dine-in. There were a few diners there when I arrived and several people waiting for to-go orders. Being I couldn't get through on the phone, I ordered at the counter. The lady who took my order was working hard. They were crazy busy. She was super nice and I got the feeling she was genuinely happy to see and talk with me. First impression, the place was spotless and the staff were very polite and attentive. I placed my order, one item I asked for was not on the menu but they made it for me. The total for my four meals was $46.22 Can't beat that. Everything was great. Great place, great service, great food and great prices. I'll be back for sure. If you're seeing this review, be sure to give it a thumbs up if you found it helpful.

It was so dry overall. I expected a juicy full sandwich with plenty of toppings and sauce and was really disappointed. The pickle spear was good though and I saw other people who were eating in the restaurant had excellent looking sandwiches, so I guess it's just the takeout option maybe. Lots of parking available and nice staff.
