It's been just a couple of months since we ate here and we were very disappointed. The restaurant is so rundown now. The rug is wrinkled and peeling and dirty looking. The wooden chairs at the next table were held together with screws and metal brackets. Will this business be here much longer? The food on the buffet was sparse. The lo mein and the boneless ribs were ice cold. Either the food is not being heated in the kitchen before being brought out or the steam tables need some mechanical repairs. Because correct temperatures aren't being maintained. I was afraid to eat the items that weren't at the correct temperature; perfect environment for bacteria to multiply. The sweet and sour chicken was hot, fresh, and tasty. Everything else on the food bar was dried out, cold, much too spicy, and just unappetizing. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Lunch for two, with a tip was over $35; too much for the quality of the food. I would find somewhere else to eat, unless this restaurant cleans up their act. read more

Honesty we don't have a huge selection of buffets around here so well over a decade ago when I started eating here I fell in love with Winn buffet. Great selection of food and the most amazing waitresses! The atmosphere was good and you can expect to pay around 15 bucks for lunch. All you can eat! read more

The food was okay. It was warm. There wasn't a lot of flavor. The service was good. I don't recommend the egg drop soup or the crab meat. Otherwise it was okay. I really liked the mushrooms. Beware that there is a sign that if you waste a lot of food they will charge you extra so just beware of that. read more

Was visiting my mother who recently moved to McBee South Carolina and was starving while we were shopping in Hartsville. She told me about Winn Buffet and suggested we have lunch there. If you enjoy a variety of Chinese cuisine this place is for you. You have a choice to enjoy a meal of your choice or the big all you can eat buffet for a very reasonable price. The lunch buffet consist of every meat you could think of and sea food dishes. You can eat as much as your heart desires. I had so many different types of food I would be writing forever. After you feel like you are about to pop from all the food you ate they have a desert buffet for your sweet tooth. Honestly the dessert buffet was a little disappointing and for that they only got 4 stars from me. It was very little and not a whole lot to choose from. The selection was little to none. Not to excited about this place. Many of the food containers were old food, and very low. They didn't look like they were changed out very often, food sick to the sides. The food quality was about a 2, service by our waitress was a 5. I've been getting a buffet plate from here for years. I always get egg drop soup with the buffet. They normally give you a 8-10oz container to put it in. Today they gave me a little container that you would normally put ketchup in. It was 1-2oz. It's just ownership being cheap. read more

I have not had worse, plastic wear and styrofoam plates several vegetable dishes tasted of fish. Fried fish was raw,and most fried food was so hard and overcooked you could not eat them. All the cake on dessert bar,tasted as if a dish sponge was iced, stale and so dry, we spit out in a napkin. Styrofoam plates and cheap plastic forks and spoons.....I could keep going but why?
