This is a monthly staple for us. Whether you do take out or the buffet, very good food!

Don't waste your time or money...trust me! Not even true Chinese cooking. People are nice but food is trash.‍

Stopped randomly while on a road trip with the kids. My daughter said she would give this place "more than a thousand" stars. I ordered the Thai chicken and they had wonton soup. It definitely delivered. Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is fast casual and cute. Recommend. read more

China Wok - Thai cashew chicken - Chinese Near Me - Richburg, South Carolina

I was very close to giving this place 3 stars based on the main course. But, the dumplings got them the extra star. Apps Pork Egg Rolls - very good. Decent size. Appear to be house made. Dumplings - maybe the best I have ever had. One knock, they give one very small serving of dipping sauce. Not enough for 3 dumplings much less 6. Main Chicken with Broccoli - my wife liked it, said it was good. Thai Cashew Chicken - we ordered it extra spicy. They put in 1 pepper in the serving. There was ZERO spice to the dish. And, it was kind of bland to boot. Main complaint - the mains are smaller portions than any other Chinese restaurant I have experienced. read more

China Wok has been at its current location in Richburg for many years. The food is always tasty. They have a buffet that has some of the best crab Rangoon you could ask for! read more

Staying in Richburg, we quickly realized the restaurant options were limited, but stumbling upon China Wok was a real treat. It was a relief to finally get some fresh veggies..perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, not overdone at all. The hot and sour soup was decent as well, hitting the spot. read more

Great food, good choices on the buffet. Crab rangoon, egg rolls, shrimp, low main, rice, etc. Even have ice cream for dessert. Nice people that work there. read more

I think my little girl learned to say China Wok in the first year of her life - the fried rice is simply unmatched!

What a hidden gem. Customer service always great & the food is always fresh, hot & tasty. They have a lunch buffet during lunch time.

My nephew recommended this Chinese restaurant while visiting . Imagine my surprise when I walked into loudly festive Latino music playing , a "seemingly" only staff of Latino cooks in the back, and I was greeted by who might have been the owner. He too is Latino. I walked back out to make sure that I'd walked into the right restaurant as there was also another Chinese restaurant next to it. Not to even suggest that Latino's can't cook Chinese but just the opposite. It's probably super tasty to patrons because they cook with so much flavor and zest! I really thought that I was in the wrong place. Big portions... too much food for only me. The staff was friendly and accommodating but most of all, I loved the camaraderie of the cooks singing along with the music . Good vibes. Oh, haaa the food. Well, I only order veggie lomein for my Chinese dish so no big review here. It was good like noodles should be chewy with fresh vegetables. My nephew loves everything that he's tried over the years so try them based on his and other great reviews. I hear they also have a Mexican restaurant in the same vicinity and it's really tasty. Again, love the vibe. Lastly, they apparently have a buffet during lunch hours so try them if you want to sample menu items without ordering just one for dinner. You can't lose when sampling. read more

I stopped here coming back to Columbia from Charlotte. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and house Lo-mein, , egg roll, chicken wings, and fried rice. All was good except the egg roll. It wasn't terrible but it was my least favorite. Price is a little pricey but at this point everything is expensive. I would recommend. read more

My coworker and I visit this Chinese spot at least once per week. In this area, this is the best spot. Their General Tso actually has some kick to it and their portions are generous. They are always very sweet and true to their 15 minute wait times. The egg rolls are just the right crisp; I recommend the General Tso, Sesame Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli and the Lo Mein. This is take out only and they have built a Covid box to stop you from going inside. It is weird, but whatever works for them. Grab your food and go elsewhere to eat. read more

Very good food and very good service. If you are trying to find some good Chinese food this is the place

Stopped in while on the road, the food came out fast, service was awesome and the food was stellar. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem for sure! We ordered chicken lomein, sweet and sour chicken and general tzo's and got a few egg rolls too. Everything was so good. My picky toddler even said "this is the best meal!" We'll be ordering again soon! Ordering over the phone was easy and everyone was friendly. read more

Great food, fast and friendly! Always very good food. Call in, place your order and it is ready within 10-15 minutes!

5 stars doesn't do this place justice, I would give it 10 if I could. The food is always fresh, tasty, and flavorful. The workers here are always kind and considerate. They truly go above and beyond for their business and I am never disappointed. When I order my food to go, it has never taken more than 15 minutes, and sometimes less than that! This place is awesome read more

The owner here also owns fugi in rock hill and it's definitely worth it! I'll always eat here when I'm in the area!

Literally the best Chinese I've ever had. I live in Charlotte now and will drive the 40 mins to go get China Wok.

We drive from Ohio to Florida and always forget which exit has the best restaurants, but as we checked into our hotel nearby, we remembered this was the wrong exit. We usually eat at the Front Porch but wanted to try something new so came to China Wok. Our server was quick to wait on us and take our order. Our order came out fast.....too fast. Didn't get to finish our soup, which was served before the appetizer came, and then entrees came almost immediately thereafter. My suggestion would be to order things as you want them as food is quickly served. We had the wonton soup and the hot and sour soup which were both very good. The wontons seemed home made and were tasty. We then had the steamed dumplings, which were OK. We decided we must usually order them pan fried as these were not like we usually order. The sauce helped add flavor to somewhat bland dumplings. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein. This was plenty of food for the two of us with nothing left over. The Kung Pao was spicy, and didn't taste like any Kung Pao we have ever had. There wasn't really enough sauce, and was just OK. The lo mein had loads of chicken and noodles, but lacked flavor. We need to make note that this isn't the exit we want due to lack of decent restaurants. read more

Great meal, order for take out or a small buffet style. Food was hot and fresh. Observed staff bringing out fresh prepared food several times throughout a 30 minute time frame. Reasonable priced. I would definitely return again. read more

Fast, good food. Ordered Crab Rangoon, and Beef with Mushrooms. Yum, even reheated later! So many Rangoon in the order too; usual places offer 4 or 6, China Wok offers 8! Very fat with filling, that was very creamy. Good crunch, and the duck sauce was nice. Beef and mushroom is a simple dish, but still tasty. This I had as lunch as well, and it was just as good. Comes with either white or fried rice, and while the rice wasn't more than that (fried rice, at least, what I'm familiar with, has carrot, egg, and peas), it was still good with the dish. Definitely make a point to visit here when you're in the area. read more

Good food fast. Welcomed atmosphere. Treated like a human being with respect. Very good selection of food. To go only.

We eat here on a monthly basis. We love everything we have tried so far. The crab rangoon are our favorite but once in a while we seem to get an old batch during takeout. Other than that it's great! They also have a very nice buffet we enjoy. read more

Ate from there last night. So good. Always fresh and HOT! Can't wait for them to open back up for seated dining. Love this place

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The service is always prompt and friendly, and the food is always delicious. I always look forward to eating here when I'm in town visiting my family. The crab rangoons are a must-try. read more

Clean, friendly, hot food.... Small buffet but I do prefer it that way... Give it a try

From the moment we walked in, our service was excellent. We were met with a friendly smile and a pleasant demeanor, which continued as the evening progressed. Our waiter was right there with menus and water after we were seated. For appetizers, we ordered the wonton soup. Delicious. My dinner was shrimp egg foo yung; my friend ordered shrimp and broccoli. Both meals came with white rice. The food was served fairly quickly, it was hot, and tasted fresh. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our food at a leisurely pace. Everyone was laid back, nothing at all rushed about the atmosphere. There were no other diners eating in but lots of folk came to pick up food. The only caveat is finding the place. Locals might know just how to maneuver their way back into the small strip mall behind the BP gas station, to reach the China Wok, but the rest of us could use some signage, especially at night. You can almost see the place from the road, depending on the direction you come from. If you don't, it's worth it to find it so keep looking until you do. read more

Love this place! Great food, great price and always quick. They also don't use peanut oil for those with allergies and they don't add MSG either read more

The place was great! Nice & clean! We were traveling along interstate 77 and wanted something other than a hamburger for dinner along the highway. We googled Chinese food & the China Wok popped up and we had great reviews. However the last review was in 2013 but it was a great review so we decided to try it anyway. The place is very clean on the inside and has a health department rating of "A" on the door for excellent! The Chinese lady that was working seated us right away and got our drink orders. She came back and we were ready to order so she took our order & we had our food within 5 minutes. The food was great & had a really good taste even better than our Chinese place back home. The prices were not bad either they were very comparable for dinner prices at most Chinese restaurants. We had the sesame seed chicken dinner and it was only $8.95 for the whole dinner. They had us in and out in about 15 minutes which is great when you're on the road traveling and don't want to waste time. A great find along the interstate! read more

All I can say is great lunch buffet!!! Friendly staff and the place is clean, food is prepared the right way. They don't seem to use MSG in their cooking either. I always have stomach issues when consuming foods prepared with MDG. Never had an issue after eating here. If you are in the area and in the mood for Chinese, this is the place to try!! read more

I love the lunch buffet. Great variety and fresh. Crab ragoon and egg drop soup are to die for. Friendly service, great price , good food.

This is the most okay Chinese food on the planet. Nothing really fantastic about the place or the food. But, the people are so nice!

Was hesitant at first to eat there but food was fresh n hot. Would recommend again. Clean restaurant kind people.

Very good lunch buffet...small but good. I really enjoyed the egg drop soup. There were several stir fry options, rice, noodles, teriyaki chicken, and egg rolls. Service very good and not over priced. read more

Every time we come here we are never disappointed. We usually order take out and 2 plates is enough for 2 adults & 2 kids in (our house anyway). The buffet is small but is very good! Everything is fresh and they keep it well stocked. The staff is so friendly. Always a good choice! read more
