After reviewing all three quotes, we decided to go with Clay. Eagle was competitive in their pricing so the mutual friend certainly helped to obtain our business. Clay was also helpful by providing other business contacts for a few other projects that we have lined up. Once we accepted the roof bid, purchasing the material secured our deal. Roofing material was delivered by the materials supplier. The actual roofing job was scheduled during a block of decent weather and took two days to complete. Clay himself came afterwards to do the inspection of workmanship and site clean-up. We paid the remaining balance with our Discover card without any additional fees (many other companies add a surcharge for credit cards) upon job completion. My wife and I are happy with the customer service and workmanship provided by Eagle and will choose Eagle in the future for other home needs.

He painted the ceilings and walls in every room of our tri-level 1800 sq foot home. They went above and beyond in making sure every floor surface was completely covered and protected from paint drops.Additionally the house had different colored trim in every room and Patrick took a piece of the trim that we wanted matched and he matched it perfectly. He came to us with different suggestions for updating the house to prepare of for sale including light fixtures In the bedrooms, dining room, entry way, hall ways and what he recommended was perfect and cost friendly. He also suggested things that might come up during inspection such as updating smoke detector and GFCI outlets which again we made sure to have him install. Once they were done the entire home was vacuumed and the house cleaner then before the project began. He communicated with us frequently throughout the project and was always available for our calls. Thank you so very much Patrick - we are so incredibly happy with the work you did on our home!!

Patrick recommended a color and cabinet hardware that are hot right now, and we are thrilled with the look of the house now that he is done. He was very patient with us as we debated colors, understanding what a big deal this can be, even though it meant extra trips to the paint store for him. And he is a perfectionist, going over everything to spot any uneven areas and then correcting them. He was also a big help in our remodel, changing all electrical outlets to a color that went with the new wall color. In addition, Patrick is sweetheart, a true pleasure to work with, and his price for this huge job was very reasonable. For instance, when we asked him to add accent colors-- the whole kitchen and a long wall-- he only charged $50 each! Highly recommended (he is listed with Angie's list as a top contractor).

My wife and I purchased a deal through Angie's List last year to have the exterior of our house painted. All started smoothly and we're on schedule to get it done before the rainy season started (it was late in the summer when we purchased the deal). They came out to pressure wash the house and we figured that work would start soon after. Several weeks passed and we hadn't heard anything. When we inquired after it started raining, they replied that they had tried to contact us both. We looked through our personal email, text/call log and Angie's List email...nothing. Rain continued and Steve informed us that if it continued, they'd have to wait until Spring. A few more rainy weeks passed and we got the message that they wouldn't be able to do it. Since the work wasn't going to be done, we asked Steve and Angie's List for a refund. Fast forward to early 2015, we received a full refund from Angie's List and we were waiting for Intercolor for the remaining balance (we split payment on different cards). We were aware that we would have to pay for the pressure washing and when my wife talked to Steve, he said that it would be a few hundred dollars which seems to be in line with what the average cost it. When we finally received the check in the mail, they charged us $700! We reminded him that he quoted us a lower amount and he just said that's what it is. Since he doesn't have prices published on his website, there's not a lot we can do. We called several other painters and asked how much they charged for pressure washing and no one was above $300. Again, we can't comment on the work itself and it seems like his work is good based on the reviews and it's unfortunate that he couldn't be more upstanding with his business practice. I guess he figured that he would make money were he could since he lost the main project.
