The hole in the wall places are the best. First time going here and I definitely will be a returning customer! I got the buffalo wings which weren't too spicy and also had a little sweetness to them just the way I like them. My fiancé got orange chicken and his food was also really good! This a really good hole in the wall spot for Chinese food if that's what you are craving. Not the greatest food in the world, but it definitely hits the spot when it comes to Chinese food for a good price. I love the fact that they deliver and have reasonable prices for their food. However, when your food shows up cold and sweet and sour chicken batter it's so tough to chew. The portions are huge and the lo mein with shrimp was big enough for a family. We really liked their crab rangoon. read more

How this place is in business is beyond me. After patiently waiting for 10 minutes before anyone would even acknowledge me at the front counter, the lady with glasses rudely yelled "what do you want". I reiterated my orders 3 times and was met with a condescending, "what kind" after stating it for her again and again. My husband and I have been here a few times. Tonight we ordered fried rice with no meat. When my husband brought home the food, we realized they had given us just brown rice. He took it back, she tried to blame him, and then didn't actually fix the order. They clearly just put in vegetables and egg to the brown rice. It tasted awful. My husband had chicken fried rice and we were able to compare, it was clear they didn't fix it. I probably won't go here again due to this, which is sad. Just check your order before you leave, they clearly don't understand English perfectly(which is not a problem if they get your order right). read more

This is a great Chinese restaurant the food if very flavorful! The potsticker where wonderful and they where accommodating for making them pan-fried instead of fried. The fried rice, chicken and vegetables was also delicious. I highly recommend trying this place out for some good Chinese food! read more

I would like to start out saying the food is good, but there customer service skills are very poor. They told me we don't deliver, I figured they where short of help. It turned out to be because of covid that I can understand. when I got there I was asked do you have cash. They don't like using the debit cards. This is my go to Chinese delivery place! Not only are they friendly when ordering but the food is delicious. They are also very generous with their portions! I generally go for the chicken lo mein or the sweet and sour chicken. Since the portions are so large, There is plenty to share or have left overs. Used to be a big fan of Ming Wok for years but recently ordered their Chop Suey for the first time. When it was delivered it contained no bean sprouts, no bamboo shoots, no water chestnuts and no onion as described in the menu...it was mostly big pieces of broccoli and carrots and little bits of unidentifiable meats in a salty brown sauce. When I called to let them know that I got the wrong dish I was lectured to by both the girl taking the delivery orders and the owner's wife in somewhat irritated tones. They told me that they can put whatever they want in Chop Suey regardless of what the menu describes. I was offered 2 bucks off my next order OR I could come over to their restaurant, bring the offending order and they would remake it for me. Ironically, I read another reviewer who had the same experience but I couldn't believe it. Now I know for myself that Ming Wok feels they can send you whatever they want regardless of the menu description. Won't be ordering from them again. read more

We ordered from them twice and picked up the food the first time they forgot the egg rolls the second time we ordered steamed vegetables and chicken, they forgot the chicken so when I brought it back they put hot chicken on the vegetables that had gotten cold on my second trip back. I spoke to the women manager and she refused to recook the meal. She acted as if it was my fault I wouldn't trust their food their air conditioner does not work and I will not go back! We ordered tonight (Sunday) because I just wasn't on board to cook. In the past we ordered E&C Wok for delivery but they no longer deliver? Taste of Asia has been disappointing so we turned to yelp to change our luck. Finding Ming Wok was awesome. Some said there was a mean lady dealing with orders but I didn't encounter it. It's near our house and it's affordable. 3 meals (spicy beef and scallops, lo mein, and Szechuan chicken) cost a mere 26 bucks! Plus we have leftovers so it's really more than 3 meals in the scheme of things. The food came in 45 minutes as estimated. It was piping hot so I know it's fresh! The containers were wrapped with Saran Wrap to prevent leakage. That's a small extra touch that is really handy. We ordered extra spicy and for once, we actually received extra spicy! It was delicious and perfect for this lazy Sunday evening. We will SO order again!! Yay for a new regular delivery place! read more

The best Chinese takeout anywhere near South Ft Worth or a good stretch from the vicinity. Good Flavors! I have eaten here twice recently and still figuring out how to navigate what vegetables come with certain dishes. I am a mu-shu eater and it rocks with hoisin & pancakes placed properly alongside. I ordered Kung-Pao Beef as a 2nd dish last visit and the flavor is great but full of celery which I will trade out next time. Overall, thus far, a solid place to satisfy your take-out craving. Hard Knocks: egg rolls are below average, soy sauce is inedible and the mustard packets need upgrading but I keep Kikkoman at the house and mix up hot mustard from powder. Enjoy read more

We have been patrons of Ming Wok for the 15 years that we have lived in wedghood. The quality is not consistent, the meat is so tough sometimes it makes you wonder about the stray cat population decreasing in the area. Recently called to order and they refused to do business with us saying that we had filed a fraud charge. Sadly, it is US that had been fraudulently charged...and the bad guys were trying to get more info regarding our spending habits from Ming Wok. They were horribly rude, unwilling to listen to our experience and told us we are unwelcome. SO...needless to say, I will not recommend on food quality or customer service. read more

This is good typical Chinese fare. It is take out or delivery only. I have never had delivery but the take out usually takes about 30 minutes to be ready on a busy night. I recommend the mushu pork, sweet and sour combo, lo mein combo, sesame beef, hot and sour soup and crab rangoons. read more

For take-out Chinese food, you can't get much better. It's delicious, inexpensive, and one entree will last you for 3+ meals... We ordered 2 House Special entrees, and 2 adults have had a total of 3 meals each from it. I recommend sharing!!! read more

Ming Wok is takeout only and its best to call your order in before hand. The girl at the counter was nice and welcomed us when we walked in. They give huge portions!! I really appreciate that because their food is delish! I always have enough left for lunch the next day. Not amazing but very much acceptable take out. They're typically quick to get orders finished, provided 10 - 15 minutes isn't too slow for you from a busy kitchen. They do offer delivery if you can't leave where you are (check for distance limitations). My favorite thing from them is the beef lo mein. Their hot and sour soup isn't too shabby either. I am not usually a fan of Chinese food, but I love Mingwok. Great value. You get a lot of food. Their lunch menu is the best price for such a large quantity of food. I can share it with someone and still have leftovers. You can watch your food be made right in front of you. It's truly delicious Chinese food. Only downside is sometimes the staff doesn't seem too friendly. It's hit or miss. No one ever seems to be upbeat or excited to work there. Also, sign says "free delivery" but I've always been charged at least $1. During bad weather they told me the minimum was $20 (instead of $10) so I ordered what was supposed to be $20.... I had their current to-go menu in my hand and I was adding up my total at home, then the woman told me my order was $26 something. They tried to overcharge me so I just canceled my order. That's the only problem I have ever had with them. Great food though! read more
