There is no place to eat there and it isn't the most beautiful, but the food is delicious!!! zero stars, they openly engage in fraud. i was a regular 5 years. tonight i ordered the $4.25 fried rice pickup and the 2.75 fried wontons... (prices on their site) was charged 12 bucks. The claim they don't own the website and it isn't their fault. Ok then if they don't know the menu how did they know what the pickup special was or what an A5 or whatever number was. We decided to do Chinese take out for Christmas, and Ming Wok did amazing. It was exactly what we wanted. We got a little bit of everything, creating a smorgasbord. The orange chicken and general tso's were the crowd favorites of all the entrees we selected. The hot/sour soup and egg rolls were also well received. They package everything up so considerably. Anything that could leak are in snap on/lid containers, and then covered in plastic wrap. There's cardboard at the bottom of the bags for support, and some on the top of each item. The woman running the front was so friendly over the phone, and very nice when I arrived. They also have a safe setup in place to pay and get food without getting close to each other (because of COVID). read more

I get their order pay and it takes them 25 minutes two package my meals. Meanwhile I see people walking in and picking up their meals. My husband and I gave this spot a try based on the reviews. I was so excited when I saw lemon chicken on the menu. Let's just say I was seriously underwhelmed. The chicken was fine but as far as it goes it was missing some pasta, marinara, and mozzarella. Yes, it would have been great for chicken parm. Not lemon chicken. The "lemon" was a fairly flavorless liquid addition. I'm sure they do this as the place in "take out only" but I've never had a lemon chicken like that before. It was bland at best. It was just breaded chicken on a bed of shredded cabbage. No lemon slices, pineapple or anything else I've become accustomed to when ordering my favorite Chinese dish. My husband ordered pepper steak and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't anything to write home about. He personally gave it a 1 star. After he tried mine to confirm it was as bad as I said, he offered me some of his to make up for it. We ended up sharing one meal. The fried rice ended up being the best part and it tasted more like Mexican rice than anything. (We are Mexican). Also as I said it is take out only. Just a small seating area to wait for the food. All in all I wish we'd gone to Panda Express. The service would have been better as well as the food and we could've dined in. We will not be returning. read more

I have never gotten anything that I considered amazing from Minh Wok, but I've never gotten anything that I didn't think was decent except for their egg rolls. I won't eat them any more. Other than that they are a pretty good carry out or delivery restaurant. My favorite soup is hot and sour, and theirs is very good in my opinion. We love Ming Wok and have for years. For the past 15 plus years. Better than the ordinary fast food joints in the area & hand better thanks Panda Express. We also love that it's a local business. Don't let the looks fool ya folks. Food is always fresh and hot. We have done both delivery and pick up. We prefer to pick up. Well cause we get it a lot faster. It's nice to be able to walk in and see the cooks doing their magic. Pretty much have had every item on their menu. Great place for take out and delivery (it's take out/delivery only). Haven't had a bad meal...or should I say "meals", given the massive portions, yet. Many Chinese places are skimpy with the shrimp on their shrimp dishes - not Ming Wok - lots of shrimp in their delish shrimp fried rice and lo mein. Wonton and hot and sour soups are top notch. Chicken with mushrooms is fantastic and they have no problem making it spicy. Definitely recommend it the next time you want Chinese take out. read more

They have been around for at least 25 years. That is saying something in this day and age. It is strictly take out or delivery. No fuss no fusion, just straight Chinese food. I love it because I can get real egg rolls, real fried rice and my sweet and sour favorites or my meat and veggie option. My dad loves the egg foo young which a so hard to find but they make it and it is awesome. All their food is good. No added MSG which is good due to having a MSG allergy. Ming Wok has some very good food!!! Portion sizes are really good for both lunch and dinner plates. Orange chicken has a great sauce that mixes well with rice and could be a meal by itself. The only negatives are the soup is a bit gel-like as it cools. Tells me they use a gelatin instead of corn starch to thicken the soups. A bit of a disappointment. Also, sometimes the front counter personnel can be a bit rude, like you're interrupting their day to order. But the positives outweigh the negatives! But room for improvement! read more

The ladies in my office have been getting delivery from them for years. Are they authentic Chinese food? Hell I don't know I've never been to China. All I know is that the food is great. I've tried many of their beef and chicken dishes and everyone has been top notch. My favorite thing here though, hands down, is their egg drop soup. It is consistently perfect ever time. This isn't gourmet or authentic Chinese food. It's greasy, comforting, hole-in-the-wall, Americanized stuff. That said, I love it. The lunch special is the best deal you'll find almost anywhere: an entree, rice, an eggroll for about $6. There's no dining in option here, which I would assume keeps costs down. I love watching the cooks make my food-- their movements are like a complicated dance-- the best kind, where I end up with perfectly executed, delicious food made from scratch in minutes. Amazing. They pack it all up in a styrofoam container that will barely close, which they wrap in cling-wrap before shoving into a plastic bag to keep it sealed and toasty. Nice touch, because I hate cold food, and I hate spills in my car even more. It's enough food for me to have three meals, honestly. My favorite way to eat my leftover kung pao chicken is to use the day-old rice (it has to have been in the fridge at least a day!) to make fried rice using the leftover meat and veggies and whatever produce I have in my vegetable drawer, plus a scrambled egg or two. My roommate raves about my kitchen sink rice, and I have no one to thank except Ming Wok. Okay, I only just moved to a place that has delivery service. However, I'm really a big fan of getting food delivered to my house, which is why I decided to give Ming wok a try. Got to say I really liked it. Fast delivery and decent prices...however...the food occasionally leaves something to be desired. Far too many peanuts and filler vegetables, and not enough flavor. Don't get me wrong, they do make a few things well, their general tso's chicken is on point as well as their lo mein. However, that's all I've had that was really more than mediocre. this is a little hole-in-the-wall chinese restaurant. I only found it because it is on my way to work and i was looking for a quick bite. I have to say though, I was quite pleasantly surprised. I am a bit hyper-critical of chinese food as I was raised on it due to my background, but this is decent quality food. The aspects I like best about this restaurant are the LARGE portions and cheap price! When I say large portions, I mean large. I am a big guy and can eat a lot, and I never have left-overs, but I always do when I get takeout from ming wok. There is no indoor seating, so don't expect to eat there. Strictly pick up and delivery. They are very fast and efficient. They have always been nice when I call to place my order and come pick it up. Only complaint is they do not have Sriracha sauce. Tasty Chinese food with a good amount of vegetarian and tofu based options. My favorite is the Hunan bean curd, and my husbands is the orange tofu. Their tofu and vegetable soup is also vegetarian, and don't forget the Chinese donuts. No veggie eggrolls however. While not mind blowing or anything, they are inexpensive, tasty, and have fast delivery which means they are A-ok in my book. I've had plenty of Chinese food before but this is by far the best Chinese food I've had. I ordered take out and it came exactly the time I asked for it; which was surprising. I had the orange chicken, hot and sour soup, and the 'pu pu' platter (weird I know). Everything was surprising delicious! The orange chicken is definitely better than Panda Express. The hot and sour soup is a must try! So good! And the pu pu platter was an assortment of appetizers. They're still getting the lobby area put together, so there's a lot of boxes and things on the floor. The vegetable blend seems to be a blend of mushrooms, green bell peppers, bamboo, corn, and carrots. And the service was very quick!! After eating here again, this place gets an extra star. Why? Their tofu dishes. The other reviewers who mentioned it made my wife and I want to try something....and they weren't lying. We tried the Hunan Tofu and it was on point. It appears they can substitute tofu for any meat entree, despite it not being listed on their menu. Also tried the governor chicken, which was great. Personally, I thought the sauce was too sweet and sugary....but I'm diabetic, so I'm highly sensitive to that sort of thing. I think the average person would enjoy it, however, since it did have great flavor and the chicken was fried nicely. Got the same great service upon delivery. The little old man who showed up at our door is very sweet and he remembered us from last time.
