He's got a pretty gruff disposition and hurries through any sort of discussion or question about their food. I asked if the hot and sour soup was made with chicken broth or vegetable broth. After a moment he said that it was made only with water. Yes, he said water. Bizarrely, we locked eyes and, after I asked again...he said it's only water. So, I ordered a large one. Well, when we came back to pick up the order, the lady saw us and asked us what we ordered. After hearing our order, she informed us that the soup is made with pork and chicken broth. Quickly she apologized, whisked the bag away and said they will prepare it with only vegetable stuff for us. That, my culinary critics, is just beautiful. She single handedly rescued our opinion of their establishment because she's perceptive and cares. The other fella, on the other hand, didn't care a bit. Avoid him and let the lady take care of you.
