Mindy created truly beautiful arrangements for my wedding ceremony and reception. They were stunning, just what we discussed (and what I dreamed of), and we received so many compliments from our guests. The quality of those arrangements was five-star. However, Mindy proved to be very difficult to work with, especially on my wedding day. My bridal bouquet arrived looking quite different than the photo Mindy shared with me after our final trial. When I told her that it wasn't exactly what I was expecting (and showed her the photo she sent me from the trial), she rolled her eyes and left to make changes -- it felt like I was asking her to move mountains. When the re-arranged bouquet came back still not looking quite right, I was at a loss of what to do. My friend's quick-thinking mother picked up my bouquet and brought it to another local florist, who rearranged it so that it looked more like the photo. Ultimately everything turned out okay, or so I thought. I didn't see Mindy after she dropped off my bouquet a second time, nor did I hear from her after our wedding. That's why I was shocked to find that she had blocked me on instagram, all while she was sharing photos of the flowers she arranged for our wedding. I am baffled, upset, and hurt by Mindy's behavior on my wedding day and in the weeks after. There is no question that she does beautiful work, but be prepared to endure the repercussions if you are the client who (apparently) offends her. There are plenty of florists in the Bay Area who do equally beautiful work while being much kinder to their clients. read more

Mindy is truly an artist - she did an AMAZING job on our wedding flowers! All of the floral arrangements were beautiful, from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the cake flower arrangements. Mindy has a great eye for detail, and she created interesting and unique designs that matched the "feel" of our wedding perfectly. Mindy was also wonderful to work with. I don't know anything about flowers and was feeling pretty overwhelmed with all of the flower-related decisions that come with wedding planning. Mindy walked me through the decision-making process, and she even took a trip to the SF flower market and made sample arrangements to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. A friend and I just finished Mindy's hands-on floral arranging workshop and guided tour of the SF flower mart. We had such a great time! Mindy is very knowledgable and answered all of our questions about the mart throughly. During the workshop, she walked us total newbies through all the basics. How to choose flowers, the mechanics and structural elements of arranging, geometric patterns to keep in mind, and how to style them to your own liking.
