The flowers were in perfect bloom, looked fresh, and smelled wonderful. Cary went above and beyond to bringing my wife's vision to life for our wedding. My wife shared a picture of a bouquet design that she liked, and asked Cary to use a color scheme that matched the theme of our wedding. Cary picked just the right colors and we immediately fell in love with all the bouquets. Cary was always friendly and responded in a timely manner; whether it was an email or a phone call. Thank you so much Cary! Barbara and I loved your work, and fully endorse you to all our fellow yelpers/yelp-lurkers out there!

She created a few arrangements, my bouquet and my husband's boutonnieres. A few days before the event I called her to tell I don't have a bouquet. Not to mention that was right before Valentine's Day so my request for the bouquet came very, very late.

I think that another thing to call out is how they handle things if something goes wrong. Recently, there was a delivery date mixup and an arrangement was delivered a day early. I called Granara's and the manager drove over himself to pick them up before my wife saw them. They delivered an even nicer arrangement the next day. I contrast this with a florist we used to deliver flowers to relatives out of state. The flowers never arrived, and the shop owner fought it, didn't help at all, and I finally had to get a credit card refund. Today I had a large, mixed arrangement delivered. Ordering something other than roses really highlights how impressive a job Granara's does. The mix of orchids and other flowers really pops - totally worth the money! Granara's delivers top quality arrangements with great service, support, and delivery. I've used others in the area and no one else comes close.

The staff is so friendly, knowledgable, and helpful! They have the cutest gifts, whether you're looking for a housewarming gift, new baby gift, work secret santa, birthday, etc. This shop is sort of hidden -- a hidden gem -- behind the Carlmont Shopping Center, but it's for the best because they always have enough parking back there. Saw staff taking care of the outdoor plants. So I found a cute plant but when I got to the cashier to pay, I asked if she happens to know or see if they had a bigger version. To my surprise she answered with "what we have out there is what have. Have you seen a bigger a version?" Honey, I wouldn't have asked if I saw one wouldn't I? Kind of disappointed with her reply. But maybe she's new not sure what the situation is. They have plenty of succulents to choose from if you're into them. The prices for the plants were fair.

Was wandering in here a few weeks ago needed some retail therapy, and decided to smell their scent selection, smelled this Capri Blue Volcano hand lotion and went to heaven. The smell immediately comforted me, seemed so familiar but I couldn't quite place it. I go home to research (I thought maybe it was the scent of one of my Vegas cainos and thats why i recognized it lol!) and of course - it's the scent Anthropolgie uses in their stores! Addicting and a known universally accepted scent! To the point where a man stopped me on Laurel and said "Ma'am I'm sorry if this comes off wrong but you smell AMAZING" =) (fun fact for single ladies: based on research men really like citrus or vanilla/pumpkin yes pumpkin scents on women and this is mostly citrus with light floral base notes! Isnt that something...). I asked my husband how he Iiked this because he's never been in an Anthropologie or to Shelby's and he applied like 3x to his hands and sat there sniffing them like Molly Shannon in Superstar.
