Neli's flowers are consistently fresh, and she carries some incredibly unique varieties. Not only are her flowers top notch, her customer service is too. When I first met Neli I was interested in creating my own arrangements so she generously gave me a tutorial on flower arranging so I could make my own for Thanksgiving. She's really great at guiding me through what works well together while also letting my creativity do the picking, and recently when she didn't have what I was looking for she offered to source them from the mart for me the next morning. Neli will also teach you how to trim and treat your flowers to make them last longer, which keeps you from going back too soon for more ;) I shop at Neli's for Teacher Appreciation week, holiday arrangements, bouquets to deliver to friends, and everyday creations for my home. 1/5 stars -- Completely different arrangement and disappointing customer service…read more I paid $285.10 total expecting the elegant, soft-toned Premium arrangement shown on their website. What was delivered looked substantially different and was dominated by 10 bright pink tulips, completely changing the overall color balance and aesthetic of the design I selected. When I contacted the florist, Neli explained that tulips were present in the back of the original design. A few tulip buds are barely visible in the background of the website photo, but they are clearly not a dominant feature. In the delivered arrangement, they became one of the main visual elements. Instead of addressing the design mismatch, I received an itemized explanation of how expensive the flowers were and was told they "cannot afford to refund orders." Their own substitution policy says the style and theme will be preserved. In my experience, they were not. I'm attaching the website photo and the delivered arrangement so customers can judge for themselves. If you expect the arrangement you choose online to reasonably resemble what is delivered, I would look elsewhere. , , Update in response to the owner's reply: Neli, your reply completely misses the point. I didn't pay $285 for a hidden "treasure hunt" of expensive flowers buried under a wall of heavy, fully opened pink tulips that completely changed the design and color palette. If a same-day order requires such a significant change to the overall aesthetic of the arrangement, a professional florist should contact the customer first and ask for approval rather than simply making the substitution. And yes, your suggestion that I explore other florists is one piece of advice I will definitely follow. Future customers can decide for themselves whether this level of substitution and customer service is acceptable to them.

I asked the young lady that took the order whether it's large or if I pay more would it be larger and she said all the sprays are the same size and if you pay more, they would just add more flowers but the size would be the same. So, I asked her to charge me more for more flowers $300 and go from there. Told her it's for a young man who has passed away and I want it to be special. After calling someone to make sure they can do this arrangement due to the fact that they were very busy with weddings that weekend, She assured me that it would be done and made special. She even said that they have all the flowers in-season to be able to make this spray. At he church service on Friday I was so EMBARRASSED by the arrangement. It was small and not balanced (maybe it was missing the leaves around it... not sure) but it looked terrible or maybe the florist just didn't take the time to arrange in properly. I think they should not take additional business when they cannot handle it. I know the cost of a funeral spray does not compare to the revenue they get for a wedding but this was important to me and I wanted something special for my loved one. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to take a picture because I did not want anyone associating those flowers with me. After calling the store, a couple of people (Regina and then Mark) called me back and just apologized; At first offering to refund me 50% but then rescinding that offer. Their messages mentioned that I was charged appropriately for the arrangement and they would contact me but I never heard back after leaving my review. There should be better training of their staff when a customer orders so they do not give the wrong information about the size of an arrangement and also, not take on additional business when they cannot handle it. Think twice about ordering a one-off arrangement from here; their focus is only on big-ticket revenue from weddings.

A hidden delight! Roses galore, planted in circles and arc with benches surrounding the flowers and…read moreplants, a mini white gazebo and arresting scarlet sculpture on one side. Everything here absolutely lovely, a treat. It's a little hamlet of roses next to the Japanese Garden and inside the Central Park, which is turning out to have an embarrassment of riches. No dearth of seating, I sat on several of the benches and marveled at the sight: red and white, pink and yellow roses everywhere with beautiful bees hovering around them, plus lilac flowers on the perimeter, of which I don't know the name. I used to live in a house with a backyard full of bees and we have a mutual understanding: I don't 'bother' them and encroach and they don't sting me :-) It felt incredible to gaze out at this bevy, and a huge heartfelt filled with gratitude shout-out to all the volunteers who lend their knowledge and energy and green thumb, time and efforts in maintaining this wonder! :-)
