I got married in Sept this year and Aili Ice Designs was my wedding florist. I did my initial consultation with Aili over a Zoom call. I sent Aili some photos of flower arrangements that I liked, answered some questions about flowers and colors that I preferred. From then on, I didn't have much communication with Aili Ice Designs until the week or two before the wedding to settle the final bills. There was a staff member I talked to named Becky, who was very helpful in answering questions about the quote, order status and payments. On the day of my wedding Aili personally showed up to the venue to deliver the flowers. They turned out absolutely beautiful! I ordered bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, table centerpieces and cake flowers (my bridesmaid arranged them on the cake). Aili also provided some loose pedals for the flower girl free of charge. I did have to pay extra for a toss bouquet. The flower arrangements were clearly of high quality and uniquely designed. My bridal bouquet was gorgeous, very full - I could not have been happier with the results. I have never been to her store, but after seeing her wedding flowers, I would consider purchasing her arrangements for other occasions in the future. I would highly recommend Aili Ice Designs for any event that requires flowers. read more

I hired Aili Ice Designs to do my wedding florals. I was familiar with their work through family and was very fortunate to be able to book them so close to my wedding date. I am grateful that they were able to work with my timeline and budget. I gave little direction because I trusted them to make beautiful works of art, and I wanted to be surprised. What I have noticed from their work are the fun little details they incorporate into arrangements, like pops of yellow or gorgeous green leaves lining the vase. As you can see from the pictures below, the work is stunning. I was beyond thrilled with the results. Becky incorporated gardenia flowers specifically to evoke a scent memory for me. She also included the thistle, which is a meaningful flower in my family and added visual and textural pop. All the floral designs added such a gorgeous dimension to our celebration. We got married in a garden, so to have these flowers stand out the way they did is saying something. Becky and Aili chose colors that truly popped against the greenery at our venue. I have seen work from Aili Ice Designs before, and what stands out are the small pops of detail and the color story told through the blooms and arrangements. The proportions and shaping of the arrangements are also exquisitely done. You can see a respect for the flowers and other materials. I would 100% recommend Aili Ice Designs for floral needs large and small. They put so much care and passion into their work. I am so grateful to them for making our day that much more special. read more

I got married on April 9th, and let me just say... the flowers were BEAUTIFUL. I had multiple people tell me that my bouquet was the most beautiful one they'd ever seen. They also supplied flowers for our arch, and they did an amazing job of setting them up. At one point in the morning, we realized that we were short one boutonniere, but they made up a new one for us in a jiffy and drove back to our venue to deliver it to us. I am so happy I stumbled across Aili's little shop in Redwood City and asked if she did flowers for weddings. I am so pleased with what she gave us. read more

I can't thank Aili Ice Designs enough for the incredible job they did with the flowers for my client's wedding. They brought the bride's vision to life with stunning floral arrangements that were both elegant and fresh. The attention to detail and level of care they put into every bouquet and centerpiece was remarkable. Their expertise and creativity shone through at a design meeting where our Client (who was not excited about flowers in the beginning) became so enthusiastic by Aili's creative direction and custom centerpieces that included shells, driftwood, and other beachy elements that brought our theme together. Working with Aili and Becky was a delight--they were responsive, professional, and truly committed to making the day perfect. I highly recommend them! read more

If I could give Aili Ice Designs more than five stars, I totally would. She is BEYOND amazing! While planning our wedding, my mother in law passed. My husband and I reached out to Aili to see if she could arrange some flowers for her funeral. Although this is not something she does, she went out of her way to make some beautiful arrangements for us. She worked with our budget and made the whole ordeal less stressful for us. During the planning for our wedding she made sure our voices were heard and took lots of notes. She made sure our vision was correct and had samples for us. She let me take home flowers after each appointment and I was so excited to share with my family. Our wedding looked BEAUTIFUL and I can't describe it in words. Simply look at the photos as they speak for themselves. Will definitely be reaching out to her for all future events. read more

This innovative group of gals design, install, and sculpt, natural elements of stone, wood, and of course flowers into works of art! What you get is way more thoughtful and artistic than just getting flowers anywhere else. Great place to get flower arrangements for Valentines Day, Anniversary's, or just to say I love you to your significant other. They look awesome in my own office and in many lobbies and restaurants I have visited! read more

This place is gorgeous. So well-curated and intriguing. I could have spent an hour wandering around this tiny little jewelry box. I was in two weeks ago. The clerk who was in the store during my visit was a doll. He must have overheard me talking to my friend about what a bad week I was having, because he handed me a rose to take home when I was leaving. He claimed that it was too old to put into a bouquet, but honest-to-God, that rose is still perky and beautiful on my windowsill two weeks later. Incredible quality. I'm sharing Aili Ice for arrangements, thoughtful gifts, and great customer service with all my friends. And especially my husband. read more

What an amazing little shop right in my own town. I feel like I am in more of an art gallery than the stereotypical flower shop. the shop is filled with positive energy and the smell makes it hard to leave. For Christmas I was able to get botanical gifts for all the ladies in my office and they were ecstatic. I also was able to get my neice and nephew a whole geode to break open on Christmas day ( I'm the cool Uncle ). I highly reccomend Aili Ice Designs to anyone needing one of a kind flowers, plants or little gifts. read more

I loved my bouquet from Aili Ice Designs so much. I didn't really know what I wanted, so I just asked for a bouquet that was somewhat wild/natural and fall-inspired for our September wedding. I didn't have too big of a budget for my bouquet and my husband's bouttoniere but I just gave her what I would be willing to spend and she said she'd make something with that amount - which was so refreshing. When I went to pick it up I couldn't stop smiling as I honestly have never loved a bouquet so much. It was so "me" and gave me so much joy, I felt like she knew what I wanted even more than I could have! read more

I was searching for an affordable florist to make a small bouquet for an anniversary photoshoot with my husband. Every other florist I contacted quoted me $80-$200 which was way more than I wanted to spend, especially since what I wanted was relatively small and simple. Aili quoted me at a MUCH more reasonable price for what I was looking for, and sent me photos of similar bouquets she had previously done. I knew Aili would be able to create the bouquet I wanted. Everyone I spoke to via Yelp, email, and in person at the shop was incredibly friendly and personable, and very focused on pleasing the customer. I asked if it was possible to use specific flowers in specific colors and Aili delivered within my budget; she made an incredibly beautiful bouquet that completely matched my vision for what I wanted! Not only was it gorgeous, but the quality of the flowers were unmatched. I picked up the bouquet on Saturday and the photoshoot was on Sunday, we even left it out of water for some time during the photoshoot and put them in a vase once we got home, but even after everything the flowers still held up for nearly two weeks! That impressed me the most. We added a little bit of greenery and a couple flowers from Whole Foods we had leftover from another floral project we had been working on and those flowers died a lot sooner than the ones from Aili, despite being purchased the same day, so the quality at their shop is truly incredible, really fresh and you will absolutely get your money's worth. Friendly service, fair prices, and long lasting flowers will ALWAYS get five stars in my book and I will continue to bring my business here for any future floral needs I have. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday and had the most wonderful experience. Usually when I go to a floral shop, they ask me to choose what flowers I want, and since I'm not a florist or floral designer, I don't trust my sense of what flowers go well together and what will look good. I'll ask them for help, and they'll just force me to choose the flowers, or get annoyed that I'm not telling them what arrangement to create. My experience here was the exact opposite. I was in a rush so called as I was driving there to make sure they were open. Haley answered the phone, and asked me what the occasion was. When I told her, and mentioned that I didn't feel comfortable choosing all the flowers, she shared what colors they had, and offered to put together an arrangement within my budget and have it ready when I arrived. I showed up about 10 minutes later, and not only was the arrangement complete but it was truly stunning. I mean, it took my breath away. I've never gotten an arrangement this nice, and this was for a very affordable budget. The person I gave the flowers to, and everyone else who was around, were taken aback and kept repeating how gorgeous they were. Thank you, Haley! I'm thrilled to recommend this florist. read more

Tasteful and creative designs. Not inexpensive, but willing and able to work within your budget. Highly recommended.

Besides everyone being super nice. I hated this. I spent $103 on calaliles. I wanted black and white. I got 5 black. One broken. No white. Other flowers that were dead. Roses folding over and crumpling. Green balls of fluff. I get if you have too many orders for Mother's Day. But if that's the case. Don't tell a client you'll do it and then give them a jumble of flowers. I can believe they pick the best quality because only the calaliles looked undead. There was nothing unique about this. It looked like a bush with two bright red dead roses with strings popping out the top. I ended up going and buying another $70 worth of flowers to fix it. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find this new shop next to Broadway Masala. The fresh floral arrangement I purchased for a coworker prompted many compliments. Aili Ice seems like a place where I can shop for my "woman who has everything" friends, but also has items at a variety of price points. The staff were friendly and generally awesome. As a person with a love for succulent plants and high end floral design, I feel they are filling a much needed niche here on the Peninsula. I'm looking forward to my next visit already. read more

Aili Ice is a true artist and artesian in floral design. She incorporates beautiful wood, plantable succulents, and all kinds of beautiful glass shapes into amazing arrangements. My arrangement evolved over time. As Aili said, take out a couple things as they get older and you will be able to keep the arrangement for weeks. I did, and then I planted the succulents and have them flourishing outside my front door. Thank you for being amazing!! read more

I ordered a 40th birthday bouquet and it was beautiful. It was delivered a little earlier than I asked and she wasn't home from picking the kids up. I am beyond impressed by this business. I had called a handful of business asking for 5 dozen roses for a same day delivery, and no one was wiling to accomodate my request. I called Alli Ice Designs and instantly knew this team could take care of my request. I was told they could get the 5 dozen roses, and deliver them on time. Not only did they keep their promise, but they delivered the most stunning arrangement without any direction, besides what filler and rose color I didn't want. They have the perfect "yes we can" attitude that I look for in a business, and I will gladly support this business from now on. read more

I would highly recommend Aili Ice Designs. I'd never used this florist before, and I walked in off the street (I just happened to be in downtown Redwood City). I needed floral arrangements for a kids' party at a kids' play space--a floral design challenge, to say the least. I was in a hurry and took a chance: told them that I could spend $x on 4 arrangements that needed to be low and wide, and that the play space had an underwater theme. When I arrived at the party site 8 days later, the arrangements had been delivered as promised; they were *stunning* (beautiful blues and greens); *and* had "elements" (shells, gold pirate necklaces, etc.) that were perfect for the event (sophisticated flowers with a sense of humor). I will go back to Aili Ice Designs for other floral needs...and highly recommend them to my friends. read more
