Momo is not only doing amazing floral design but she's also such a kind person. It was truly an honor to work with her for our small wedding. She created a few arrangements, my bouquet and my husband's boutonnieres. A few days before the event I called her to tell I don't have a bouquet. She not only created a beautiful bouquet, she also did 2 boutonnieres for my husband (even if I didn't asked for them) and delivered them to our house. Not to mention that was right before Valentine's Day so my request for the bouquet came very, very late. read more

Put your floral arrangements in a cardboard floral box (that secures the vase) like every other florist -instead your delivery person hands us a very large receptacle full of water that spills all over the hardwood floors-an ongoing problem with all your floral deliveries read more

I've been a fan of La Lavande and Momo for years. She is friendly, attentive and a true professional in what she does. The flowers/plants are fresh, vibrant and superbly arranged. She takes in your thoughts/objectives of the occasion and ask clarification questions to help ensure she can capture the essence in the arrangements. I've always been pleased with the outcome and highly recommend her. read more

I got a beautiful flower arrangement from my sister by la lavender, delivered to me today for my birthday . I am a florist myself and I was super impressed by this arrangement . The roses even smelled good , and it's kind of hard to come by good smelling roses that aren't garden roses. I love this place , from now on it will be my favorite in this area . read more

This is edited to add my experience with La Lavande and Nasrin after my own wedding in October. She came through again and truly wowed me with the florals for the ceremony, reception and bridal party. The flowers were fresh, creative, and the set up was professional and on time. My bouquet was made of dark purple mini callas that were so perfect, people kept touching them to see if they were real! Bravo, Nasrin and staff for helping add the perfect asthetics to my wedding! read more

La Lavande - Smell and look fabulous. - Florists Near Me - San Carlos, California

Well all the reviews here are based on a Florist. I went to meet with Nasrin and my experience was just plain awful. As a bride to be I expected to be treated different(she was very cold and seemed like if I was bothering her). I think the expectation was high since the first florist I met was just AMAZING! Anyway if you are looking for someone that will guide you and give you input and offer help go somewhere else. I didn't get a quote until a week later and to top it off was 1000.00 more than the quote I originally got from another florist ( who by the way provided a quote on the spot) So if you want to wait a week for an overpriced quote with flowers you didn't even discuss during your meeting make an appointment . By far the worst experience I have had with a wedding vendor! read more

La Lavande always sends out the most beautiful flowers ever. Birthday bouquet - always lively and colors are perfect. Just because bouquet - simply beautiful flowers and they definitely say, I love you! I'm sorry bouquet - they elegantly say, I'm sorry in so many ways. Thank you bouquet - there's no better way to thank someone with a short vase of lovely flowers for them to enjoy. I've called La Lavande on numerous occasions and every time, they have surpassed my expectations. They are always on time and they always make you want to take a deep breathe and sit and enjoy the flowers. read more

The only thing I know about flowers is that they're pretty and smell nice. I had a bridal shower to host and decided last minute that fresh flowers would be a nice touch. I told Nasrin the theme colors and left the rest up to her. Within 24 hours, she whipped me up some radiant pieces. The flowers were delivered and looked gorgeous. Every single one the guests paid many compliments on how beautiful they were. Looking at the photos posted on Yelp, I trusted in Nasrin's work.. and I was right! read more

What a pleasure it was to work Momo!! We highly recommend to work with Momo for any of the flower needs whether it is for your wedding, a party, or even a corporate event. She spent the time and effort with us to go over exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Colors, styles, arrangements, rectangle vs. round, table set up, etc.... she was incredible. Highly recommend La Lavande in Belmont for any of your needs in the Bay Area~! read more

Who doesn't like getting flowers? Duh! There is, however, something to be said for taste, selection and artistry. La Lavande is fool-proof. I should start charging my guy friends for recommending this place -- it's a winner. From tall, lavish vases filled with hundreds of orchids, to low, packed-full, seasonal arrangements with hydrangea, tulips, fruit, and peonies. They require little-to-no direction -- I usually ask for a low (round or square) vase lined with banana leaf and then packed with whatever they have in that day that's interesting. From small, to the ungodly large, La Lavande is sure to please. read more

The boy sent me flowers from La Lavende Flowers for my birthday yesterday. They were sent to the office and left on my desk when I was out for lunch. My jaw literally dropped when I stepped into my cube and saw the arrangement. It was absolutely beautiful. They did a great job with the colors - so cheerful and bubbly. The flowers made my cube smell wonderful for the rest of the day. I couldn't stop glancing over at the flowers all day and smiling. I've posted the birthday bouquet to Yelp for you to check out! The arrangement has peonies, roses, orchids, and hydrangeas..it was perfect. I highly recommend this place - top notch. I'm still smiling! ..... Thanks La Lavande!! read more

La Lavande - My amazing birthday flowers :) - Florists Near Me - San Carlos, California

I've ordered flowers from many local florists and the traditional FTD/Teleflora outfits. I'm rarely pleased with anything anyone creates except La Lavande. My only problem is I can never find other florists for deliveries I need out of state. La Lavande creates the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen. And when they come into our offices- everyone remarks and asks who prepared the arrangements. The are stellar in their attention to detail and I am always super satisfied. The price might be more than you expect but I only send flowers to people I feel are worth it. If I cared less I would use FTD ,ProFlowers, or some other national ugly flower business. The people in my life deserve the best and I vow to only use La Lavande for my local needs going forward. read more

I used La Lavande for my wedding recently. Nasrin and I met to go over pictures from her various events to determine what I wanted. I had already done some homework looking at various photos online and identified the colors, style, and type of flowers I wanted to have. Nasrin was good about listing out what flowers she would use for each arrangement or bouquet in the proposal. The one challenge we had to work through was what stands to use at the ceremony. She initially proposed some wrought iron and glass stands. I was concerned that they were not appropriate for the venue do to style and wind. Even though I had shown her photos of the place, I don't think she really had a good sense of what I wanted until she visited the location herself. After that, she went back and searched for something more appropriate. I appreciated that she doubled check with me that the new urns would be to my liking. On the wedding day, I was totally thrilled with my bouquet. It was even better than I had imagined. Everyone loved the huge urn arrangements which added the perfect amount of color to our outdoor wedding. The urns looked great at the reception as well. Many of the flowers lasted for more than a week. I loved that I could enjoy everything for awhile after the wedding was over. The only downside is that her shop can get quite busy. During the summer it could take awhile to to receive a reply to questions sometimes. Otherwise, the people at La Lavande do a fantastic job. If I ever need professional flowers in the future, I'll be back. read more

Looking for flowers for my sister-in-law's graduation. Me on the East Coast, she's on the West Coast...I wanted something special for her. It was challenging to find a florist with a beautiful portfolio who would deliver to her area. I'm so glad that I kept looking until I found La Lavande. Portfolio is gorgeous. Ordering online was easy. Price was reasonable. Was concerned when I saw that they were working on a big wedding, so called to confirm next-day delivery would not be a problem. Got a call-back. Family sent photos of the arrangement with comments: "Flowers are beautiful...." and "Beautiful..." Would definitely use La Lavande again! read more

La Lavande - Gorgeous birthday flowers! - Florists Near Me - San Carlos, California

My husband and I just got married and used La Lavande as our florist. We couldn't be happier. Nasrin made the most beautiful bridal bouquet for me than I ever could have imagined (cascading flowers in a beautiful yellow and white color combination), and made amazing table decorations, organized rosepetal bags for guests to toss after the ceremony, and even had an extremely fun and creative idea for the bride bouquet toss arrangement (I'll let you figure that one out on your own when you work with her). Nasrin also is very reasonable with prices and doesn't try to push pricier options. She even assembled several orchids to put in my hair....for $10! Would definitely recommend her for any events---her flowers are true artwork. read more

If I could give them more than 5 stars I absolutely would. The service was absolutley stellar and the floral arrangement was the most stunning I have ever seen. I called in the morning on the off chance that I could order a flower arrangement for a friend who had just had a baby girl. The woman who helped me said they had a few events they were working on for the afternoon but they would be happy to create an arrangement for my friend, even though it was the very last minute. When I picked up the flowers, I was astounded by their sheer beauty and gorgeous arrangement. The ladies were so incredibly nice and I was just blown away by everything. My friend let me know 5 days later that the arrangement just got more and more beautiful as the week went on, with the flowers smelling even better and opening up beautifully. I cannot recommend La Lavande highly enough, what a wonderful business. I will use them any time I ever need a florist. read more

What was delivered was more small and modest than I expected for the price. Sending flowers can be a blind item. You pay, but you don't necessarily get to see it. I asked for a snapshot which helps but is a challenge as they're busy, but it was sent and the bouquet looked lovely, just less than I expected. read more

I ordered a $120 arrangement from La Lavande yesterday, which were delivered today. I was terribly disappointed. It was small and the flowers weren't fresh. It was about what I'd expect from a $40 arrangement (though even then I expect fresh flowers). If I had come into a store to buy flowers and told the arrangement was $120, I would have laughed and gone elsewhere. It's hard not to conclude that I was taken advantage of because i purchased without seeing the product. If you need flowers ASAP or else you're going to be shot by your spouse, it's fine, but if you have any choices, I would go elsewhere. read more

Where do I even start?!?! I absolutely ADORE La Lavande Flowers. I have ordered over 50 arrangements with them and they have never let me down. Their color combinations are impeccable, the quality of flowers are A1 and the customer service is just fantastic. Wanted to send a unique bouquet to express deep gratitude to a friend in San Carlos.. rather than go the traditional route of the larger flower delivery, I found La Lavande online. Their bouquets were custom and special.. I called, suggested the colors I was thinking of ~ I wanted the bouquet to have a masculine tone, as the recipient was a man working in a very male business environ. La Lavande offered some particular flower ideas. The one mystery was how big the arrangement would be in terms of size.. they said their arrangements were on the smaller size, and would fit on a desk. Ok. I asked if they'd text me a photo of the arrangement, they said they'd do their best. They did the following day, nice touch* My friend thanked me and said I shouldn't of.. but I think he did enjoy the gesture - which was the whole idea* Thank you, La Lavande Flowers* read more

I was first introduced to La Lavande on my first day of work at my current job. The beautiful flower arrangement made me feel even more welcomed. I love the way the flowers are arranged, she definitely have an eye to details. Fragrant flowers combined with berries, leaves or other decorative touches on a low lying vase that's both clean and modern are the signature of this florist. She delivers to anywhere in the Peninsula and is always very pleasant to work with. When it comes to sending special arrangements to my special loved ones, La Lavande is my choice! read more

La Lavande did the flowers for my wedding a few weeks ago. They did a wonderful job! Nasrin, the owner, was very easy to work with... I had a general idea of what I wanted but, when it came to specifics (e.g. what types of fowers to use), I put my trust in her and encouraged her to do what she thought was best. Leveraging a sample of our wedding invitation and swatches of our table linens, she designed absolutely amazing bouquets & centerpieces for us. There were flowers in the arrangements I had never seen before and accent colors I never would have dreamt of including that made all the difference in the flowers. Her attention to the depth, texture, scents, freshness & uniqueness made the flowers a work of art! Nasrin and her staff were attentive to details, followed through on specific instructions I gave them (e.g. who to contact the day-of, multiple delivery locations, ribbon variations), and maintained a positive and professional attitude the entire time. I highly recommend this company for any special event floral needs. They really impressed me! Thank you, Nasrin! read more

I first saw a La Lavande arrangement at the Garden Court Hotel for a conference that my work held at the hotel and I was blown away. So lovely. Looking down the dinner tables at the wedding was just a delight - variety and continuity at the same time. Weddings in the best of times are a bit stressful and Nasrin and her team worked with my daughter in such a supportive way. The flowers were absolutely stunning at all the events. I appreciated that she had the bride and groom guide her on the style they wanted for their wedding on Mount Tamalpais and reception at Marin Arts and Garden Center the breakfast reception the next day . Superhuman effort and wonderful design. Very European in style. Lovely people and very much appreciated! read more

Nasrin of La Lavande Flowers is truly an angel! I found out about La Lavande Flowers business here on Yelp! It's been LONG overdue that I've come across an excellent florist who really has compassion about my needs and really LOVES the artistry of flowers that she creates! I needed a last minute sympathy arrangement sent to a dear friend for the loss of her father. I filled out her "online request form" and within 30 minutes, I had a response! Again, I emailed Nasrin for another arrangement I wanted delivered asap here on the peninsula. She responded extremely fast, very professional and even was so kind as to follow up with me each time to confirm the flowers HAD been delivered and emailed me a photograph of the arrangement that was created especially for my loved ones. I will only use Nasrin of La Lavande Flowers for all future arrangements and NEVER EVER go anywhere else! "Ah Sam's" is a poor, pathetic shame to La Lavande Flower's amazing level of customer service and gorgeous floral design. Lastly, from the photograph I received, the quality of the flowers used in the arrangements are TOP NOTCH, the best of the best. So don't waste your time anywhere else, I promise....you won't be disappointed! read more

The hubs sent me Valentines Day flowers from La Lavande to my office and they were absolutely beautiful!!! It can be difficult making long stem roses unique but La Lavande did a wonderful job by arranging them with tall cherry blossom branches, a gorgeous unique vase, and beautifully luxurious ribbon. The whole arrangement was wonderful and large, far surpassing those skimpy cookie cutter arrangements from those online florists! After viewing the other pictures on here of her wedding centerpieces and bouquets, I wished we had used her for our wedding too!
