They were one of the only florists who could deliver on a Sunday. They don't have a physical storefront but they delivered to my home. They fit my budget ($40 or less), customized the bouquet wrapping to my request, hand delivered the bouquet within the specified time frame (free delivery anywhere in San Francisco!), went the extra mile (almost literally) to walk to my address for delivery because there was a major street closure, and they had a easy and transparent check out process. THANK YOU, MARIA!! I reached out to Maria with an unusual request and she was up for the challenge and more :) ! I attempted to create a large, dried floral arrangement on my own; I bought the pieces individually and pulled together what ended up looking like a hot mess (see "Before" picture). I was stressed by how large (and expensive) the project ended up being and turned to Yelp to desperately find help. The universe brought me Maria. She immediately responded to my request; we spoke on the phone and she generously agreed to help me rearrange it the next day -- all over Zoom. She spent an hour with me, carefully walking through how to arrange each section of an incredibly large arrangement. Even though she doesn't specialize in dried flowers, she is so good at her craft that she was able to somehow transform my disaster into artwork -- all over Zoom! She made me confident during each step of the way through her gentle instruction (starting with the larger, dramatic statement pieces and then creating smaller, repeating bouquets...and omitting certain flowers/transferring them to a standalone bouquet to make sure we were successfully editing the bouquet ) and words of affirmation along the way. She brought out the inner artist in me that I always hoped existed and encouraged me to name the piece, adding that it will be one of many future pieces I'll create. Long story short - I randomly stumbled upon FWF while looking for a wedding florist and I'm glad I did! FWF started during COVID to share their love of flowers and making others happy. How refreshing during these times! Claudia was quick to respond to my email and scheduled a consultation call. I could tell from the call that she genuinely cares about her clients; she was very interested in learning about our story and the vision we have for our wedding. Claudia was very transparent that FWF hasn't done a large event yet (which makes sense since the business just started), but I could tell that Claudia was very knowledgeable about the industry and of course, flowers! After doing their research, Claudia and her mom drafted a proposal for us within the week, and she really listened to what we said during the consultation meeting , taking into consideration our budget, our concerns, and our requests.
