I contacted System Pavers to get a quote on laying a patio and installing turf in my backyard. Our backyard started out as a small dirt lot and was transformed into a beautiful patio. Lidiana came over to our home and walked us through the design process. She was able to take measurements of our backyard and input them into her design software. We looked through the options for pavers and within minutes she had a detailed design of our backyard with 3D flyovers. We decided on our design and got the project started. We were able to get discounts due to a holiday sale and having them start asap. Within 2 weeks our backyard was completely transformed. Jeff was assigned as our project manager and lead us through every step of the build. He was frequently updating us on when the workers would be at our house and when deliveries were scheduled. The process went very smooth! When the project was done the workers cleaned up the driveway where we had deliveries. They also bagged up some extra rock that we ordered to use in the front yard and stored it on the side of our house. They went above and beyond! I would recommend System Pavers to anyone looking to transform an outdoor space in their home. They are a little pricey but you pay for the warranty and smooth installation process. System Pavers just completed our patio demolition and pavers this week. Our concrete in the backyard was in pretty bad shape and needed replacing. We'd been shopping around for a while, but always put off by the high cost. We booked an estimate and consultation with their sales team. The salesman we had, David, was excellent and very thorough. He did not upsell us on products or features we didn't need. He was very respectful of wanting to stay within a reasonable budget and still wanting a beautiful outdoor space. When we ultimately booked the job, we told him we had a tight timeframe to work in and they were able to accommodate. Our project manager was Adrian and he was responsive, kind, and very thorough as well. The job only took four days to complete, include full demolition and haul away plus the whole new job. We had our pavers and light package installed 3 years ago and we have been so happy with system pavers. The electricity went out about 2 weeks ago an I had been unable to reset the "Brilliance smart socket" lighting app. I called System Pavers and was immediately contacted by Ryan Travalini the project manager. He came to our home and we tried to figure it out, when we couldn't, he immediately said no problem the smart socket needs to be replaced, I can go get another one and install it for you later today, its covered under your warranty. Redoing our rather large front yard and driveway was a dream come true. We love how it looks and have received quite a few compliments. Now, here's a very honest review. 5 stars for workmanship: care and thought was taken each step of the way. The workers were super respectful and did their best always to help us be able to get in and out easily during the work, kept the area tidy and made sure to confirm with us if there were any questions that arose . 1,000,000 stars for Adrian O'Donoghue, our project manager. Adrian visited the project almost daily and was readily available by text or phone call. This was such a peace of mind. His communication was amazing and his willingness to make sure any blips were addresses was impeccable. Now, outside of his control was the fact the designer/sales manager told us our front step would be "taken care and wrapped into the deal" but we were then told it would be another $3800 upon the project starting. This whole experience would have felt so much better if the bottom line had been the bottom line. Granted, I appreciated all his help in implementing our ideas into a design but this left us uneasy. So, would I work with them again, yes. All of the aforementioned made it a wonderful experience. However, this latter issue was disheartening and I am a person of my word so I must fully review the great and the "do better next time." The consultation is free, the design process is included, just make sure you are guaranteed there won't be any hidden costs/surprises. Full transparency is good for all and thus the spirit of my review. 25 year guarantee. I will give this review 5 stars because Adrian deserves it. System Pavers, you are very lucky to have him. My experience with System Pavers started off extremely frustrating. Our first project manager provided little to no oversight at the beginning of our backyard project. Everything moved painfully slow, communication and support were almost nonexistent, and several quality issues came up. The turf was poorly stitched together, some of the pavers were uneven, and we were even told we needed to pay for services that we had already paid for. At that point, I was very disappointed and frustrated with the company overall. Things completely changed when Oscar Maciel became our new project manager. He was a total 180 from the previous experience and truly took ownership of the project. Oscar showed up every day to ensure everything was going according to plan, listened carefully whenever I raised concerns, and addressed issues immediately. His professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail were exactly what we had been missing. Oscar is a far better representation of what a project manager at System Pavers should be. Fast forward about a year later, we noticed some slight shifting in our pavers. I reached back out to Oscar and the System Pavers team, and they handled the issue the same week. I was genuinely impressed by the level of customer service and sense of urgency Oscar demonstrated, even long after the project was completed. Previously they repaired the driveway pavers when tree roots started uplifting the driveway, so it was a no brainer to have them do our backyard patio. Octavio was our project manager this time anround and did a great job listening to our requests. Since we were installing a pergola, we had footers installed under the pavers per the pergola specifications. They also worked with an electrician to have the wiring routed under the pavers. We had System Pavers install a patio and fire pit in our backyard several years ago. We live in Brentwood and the soil is mostly, at least in our yard, clay. Over the years some of the stone that boarders a cement patio had risen. One call to System Pavers explaining the issue and they had Ryan Travalini come to our house to assess the problem. Ryan was on time, professional and even went above and beyond the issue I had called about. Ryan noticed that a couple of stones on tire pit were loose and had them fixed even though the warranty on the fire pit was expired. The Forman of the repair crew, Alexis, Was amazing. I'd like to acknowledge the exceptional work provided by System Pavers for the new artificial turf installed in my backyard. First, I'd like to thank Kelly Kasper, sales consultant. Kelly did a great job explaining the artificial turf installation process, turf type options, costs and financing. He also suggested that it would be possible to integrate my existing paver area to the left of the new lawn installation to tie it all together. Secondly, I'd like to acknowledge the project manager, Ryan and his construction lead Jose. The demolition, ground prep and installation of the new turf went very well. They kept me informed daily and let me know if any issues had come up. One example was what to do with the existing sprinkler system. I had two options which was to cap all of the water lines or keep one or two open for a drip system along the peripheral of the backyard. Initially, I wasn't sure which option was best and landed on keeping two. During the final turf installation a nail cracked the PVC water line. Both Ryan and Jose responded promptly to fix the issue and test both lines to ensure it was fixed. In summary, I am extremely happy with the results and the great customer service provided by all of the team members assigned to my project. He's prompt, clear, and makes sure to communicate challenges. Amazing sales and service experience! Right off the bat, we were well taken care of by Ian, who was on top of things and was there to answer any questions we had. We discussed many designs and he gave us a great rate for our back yard. Once we had a good plan in place, we met the build team. Octavio ensured everything was proceeding as planned and met us daily to check in and give us updates. The team had to deal with tricky rebar, roots and existing irrigation system, but they took care of everything. There was a bad batch of pavers and they changed them out without hesitation. They accommodated every request we had with sprinklers, footer locations etc and finished the job within a week. One small note, I'd request if they could have the crew switch to electric tools, the gas motor on those were way louder than the task they were performing (cutting, compacting, demolishing). We couldn't be happier with our new paver stone driveway! Not only did this company do a fantastic job, but they've restored our faith in humanity. We've always had flooding issues with our driveway, and a few years ago, we let a con man talk us into digging up our concrete driveway and replacing it with blacktop. It was a disaster, with some of the worst workmanship you could imagine, and it introduced a host of new issues. We were really reluctant to trust anyone to fix all of these problems. Enter Team System Pavers! Lidiana came in and came up with a vision (which I could tell she found challenging, but was undaunted). She broke down every part, and explained exactly how to address every single issue. And she made sure that we felt 100% good with our decision. When Ryan, our project manager came on, I knew we were in good hands. Again, he explained each step, and what we could expect. And the foreman, Ben, and his team were quick, professional, and provided a great level of craftsmanship! Now, this job didn't go off without a hitch; there were a few hiccups along the way. That's to be expected in any sort of job like this. What impressed me is that when I brought these matters up, Ryan apologized for the miscommunication, and they made it right immediately. The communication was excellent, and they made sure we were happy with everything before I signed off. Could we have gotten a new driveway for cheaper? Probably; especially if we would have gone with cement again. But could we have gotten a better, more professional, and pleasant team or a more beautiful driveway that fixed all of our problems?
