At every other GS I shop at I am asked if I want the warranty before anything is punched into the POS system. The store manager just said "and after discount and a two year warranty your total is $$$." When I asked if he put the warranty on before he asked if I wanted it he backpedaled and started removing it. He explained it was his job to show the value of the purchase, I argued I didn't want anything on the ticket if I wasn't even asked about it first. He had plethora of things to say on why he did it, all avoiding the fact he did not ask me if I wanted it in the first place. As soon as he rang me up with the extra charges the POS system immediately asked for payment information. If someone weren't paying attention they'd be spending more than they bargained for. Warranties are fine. We need transparency in transactions. This was borderline deception on the manager's part.

The employee never stops talking and trying to make sales. We understand it's part of his job but he is so incessant that we have put items back and walked out. When we have tried to buy stuff he demands we "hate free stuff" just because we don't want to join the membership. The selection is pretty good, it's just a shame we can't get in and out without being pestered.

You just took the new…read moresteelbook for Tombstone and it was in my hand for $44.00 and then you inflated it to $70 at checkout. This is nonsense. You do this shit all the time and I am going to expose your dishonest and unscrupulous crap to everyone. You are not eBay. You treat your good customers like horse shit. I am about to stop shopping at your stores. I have been a VERY loyal person to your company and I spend major money at your location. This is NOT RIGHT. You never used to do this to people. And you know what? Every time you have been doing this you end up dropping the price again because this is a knee jerk bullshit reaction. This is not some rare item. You are as bad as a scalper on eBay. Dirty business.

Walk in...three employees behind the counter "welcome in" one says, I wave and make my way through…read morethe store. The place looks absolutely wrecked. Dirty floors, aisles full of merch laying on the ground, poorly organized shelves, stacks of comics on top of the long boxes...nearly unshoppable. I made a couple passes through the place, I tried to look at the glass cases up front but there was too much stuff piled on top of them to see into it. What prompted me to write the review however, is the conversation that I overheard between the employees. A young man, clearly a "manager" that was on his way out of the business for good was essentially telling the other two that despite his best efforts to get the powers that be to give one of them a shot at running the store, the decision has been made to bring someone else in that was being trained at another store...and that was the right decision. I have 16 years in retail, 9 of those years as a General Manager, and the way that store looked, no wonder they didn't want the next manager to learn from the person in charge there. I was in that store for nearly 20 minutes, aside from the greeting, I was never again acknowledged, despite being within earshot of their conversation for the last 7-10 minutes I was there. When I decided to make a purchase (something to resell, believe it or not I did find a deal at a vintage stock) I stood at the counter for appx 90 seconds waiting for one of them to get me outta there, which feels like an eternity when you're waiting to give a business money...I then asked "why is the store so dirty?" The response was "we've been really busy." I'm sorry, but I don't believe you couldn't find a few minutes during your shift to tidy up a bit...like maybe the last 20 minutes or so? Now for starters, i feel bad for whoever is paying that crew to literally do nothing...for days...because the way that store looked, it hadn't been properly walked or reset in days if not weeks. Additionally, I feel bad for whoever is coming into that situation to turn it around...looks like it's gunna be a month of 60 hour work weeks to get that one ready for Black Friday weekend. Finally, to the young man who wanted to get a shot at running the store but didn't even get the chance to talk to upper management about it...you didn't get a shot because you don't care about your store. You may not be the manager, but you also let it look like that. Talent evaluators and decision makers know who has the passion for running a business. It's the person cleaning the aisles, vacuuming the floors and creating nice displays for the shoppers to enjoy. It's the one person NOT standing behind the counter negatively portraying the ownership in earshot of a customer. It's the person offering to help the only customer in the store. Nothing is given without being earned...I'm sorry you had a poor mentor, but perhaps the next one will set a better example for you to learn from. I look forward to my next visit to see if there is any improvement.

DONT SHOP HERE!!!!…read more Olha at the zona rosa vintage stock is a muy mal human being. In case she's not wearing her name tag, She's a short dumpy girl with glasses. She tried to convince me that a collectible was complete in box when it was visibly showing slots for parts that were empty. She told me those are for the parts on the figure and i took her at her word. I felt at-ease when she told me I had 30 days to return it for a full refund. I asked if I could return it to the entertainmart in Saint Joseph (also a joke of a business) because I live an hour north of here. She said yes! After some online research I see the figure is indeed missing parts. 6 in total. I called the Saint Joseph Entertainmart to make sure what Olha told me was correct. She verified and told me to bring them in. I was greeted by a guy that told me to head to register 1 for my refund. I went to register 1 and was next in line when the cashier just walked out of the store without saying anything to me. Not hold on, excuse me, NOTHING! Then after 10 minutes the guy walks in and says the district manager told him I cannot return the items because they are used. One was brand-new according to vintage stock and the other was used. They told me I could take them back to zona rosa and get my refund. How convenient! I'm at work so I ask my wife to take them back for me. The guy working the counter immediately said, "didn't the Sain't joseph store already tell you No on this return". My wife said, "actually the saint joseph store said to bring them back here." When asked by the male worker why Olha told me I could return these items she exclaimed, "I never said that!" They basically told my wife tough luck and have a nice day. To sum it up, Not only are the employees at these stores untrained. They are also liars with terrible customer service skills. They reserve the right to refuse a return, even if it's a legit return, as they see fit. The manager has the final say on a case by case basis according to their online website, which is full of grammatical and spelling errors which adds to the sketch of this business. Olha, learn what your store policy is, don't blurt stuff out of your mouth if it isn't true. While we're on the subject of truth, when asked if you said something that you definitely said, be an adult an own up to it. Don't lie a second time to avoid accountability
