I offered them 70% which I deem fair, as Ive gone to plenty of card shows and 70 is the lowest most vendors go, They offered me 45%. I should of ran, but I am currently not proud to admit I am desperate for the money. We settled at 52%, and they claimed all these reasons why they couldn't give me 70%, such as condition, shipping, labor etc. Long story short I'm writing this review because they took my ETBS and listed them ABOVE market, when they claimed they couldn't offer me 70% because of "condition," and they would have to list them BELOW market, they are scammers. I knew I should have ran, but again, I needed the money and didn't think. Go anywhere else you can in KC that's collector friendly.

They have plenty of seating to fit all of us, and they offer alot of high top tables as well for people playing Warhammer. Its always busy in here, they have pretty good pricing on snacks and drinks, and they always have the latest drops usually for new sets as well. The guys that work here are also super chill, we come in enough that they know us somewhat. Always super nice, and help out with anything we might need. If we are there super late, sometimes they lock us in on the table side of the store and just have us use the back door when we leave so it doesn't interrupt our game we are wrapping up. 10/10 one of our favorite card shops in KCMO to come and play at.

Im sure their business supports LGBTQ+ and other minorities, but their support stops at black customers. We went yesterday (Sep6th) around the evening time. Never again. Then the other POC employee sat down and ate his pizza rather than helping out attending to customers (like us) that came in the store; as if he didn't have work to do. This store needs to work on their customer service and professionalism. This small business is small for a reason, they seem to have never grown into bigger or better things....like their inventory. Believe us we did NOT spend our money here; we went to Spankys. I will be sticking with Spankys Card Shop from now on.
