When I arrived in the morning, I almost thought they were closed because the store looked pretty dark from outside, but the open sign was there and I was greeted politely when I went in. The shop has a lot of cute, curated items, with maybe a stronger focus on stationery and paper goods than the small figures or novelty items I was personally hoping for. There is also a little trinket exchange cabinet, which is a fun concept and worth checking out even if you are just browsing. Overall, the selection felt thoughtfully chosen, just more in line with stationery and gifts than I was looking for that day. One thing that stood out to me was the lighting. Even on a sunny day with large windows, the interior felt quite dim, especially when browsing smaller items. A bit more overhead lighting would make it easier to really see what they offer. That said, the atmosphere was calm and the staff was friendly without being overbearing, which I appreciated. I might not rush back, but I would definitely take another look if something caught my eye on their website first.

Distinctive holiday finds, everyday gifts...it's almost like a Spencer's Gifts collided with a World Market and spread joy all over. My most recent trip left me in possession of locally made jelly (peach cinnamon!), two new ornaments for the holiday display, maybe the best yard sign ever, stocking stuffers, and decals for my daughter's burgeoning collection. They also have a selection of local favorites, which I bought Brookside Bungalow which is a very fresh, clean, relaxing scent. The store will be celebrating their 20th anniversary on Sept 23.... A dozen votive candles for $36 (usually $42.50). Tip -The container of Brookside Bungalow can be brought back and refilled for $2/oz with any of the scents they are filling that month. You can actually bring in any container as long as it holds water.

Lori is a dedicated and passionate owner that has a keen sense of what works together. The shop carries over 170 different scents which means there is literally something for everyone there. They don't have just have candles but wax melts, home décor, oils, and a variety of candle sizes. Lori was a guest on my podcast, Kansas City Confidential, where she shared all about the process of making their products and some of her favorite scents. We talked about how scents are like personalities and how everyone has a scent that fits their personality. Lori and her team are awesome and so hopeful to their customers. Everyone was so friendly allowed me to pick up the rocks , ask questions. there were a couple of other people in there but were able to help everyone. The place is huge! educational, kids stuff, very very large spa area. Got to talking to the owners about rocks and what we are doing with kids area at rocks shows and he was very informative and got the vip treatment behind the scenes stuff and learned alot. You can find literally everything here at Gemini. I left with a new pendelum an evil eye bracelet some special bath salts and detoxes. As well as some new goodies for my sound bowl. They also sell sound bowls here too. My friend and I also tried the salt room spa here and it was pretty relaxing we fell asleep. I just can't get over how much we loved our experience here from the educational aspect from their teachings to just letting us freely look around and shop and be curious beings. I felt so calm shopping here we could've spent hours just looking around. This was a highlight of our trip must say. Such a great experience and great people!

They have a wide variety of alcohol and it looks like they're planning on adding more displays. They also had another section with some snack items and food items, like a small marketplace.
